Al-Qaida leader Ayman al-Zawahiri has warned the US of the “gravest consequences” if Boston marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev or any other Muslim prisoner is executed. Tsarnaev, named in Zawahiri’s online video message, was sentenced to death by lethal injection last year for the 2013 bomb attack that killed three people and injured more than 260 others. Tsarnaev committed the bombing with his older brother, Tamerlan, who was killed in a shootout with police in the manhunt that followed it. “If the US administration kills our brother the hero Dzhokhar Tsarnaev or any Muslim,” Zawahri said in an online video, “[it]...

Thank you, jury! In case you had any lingering doubts about the wisdom of these 12 good men and women, consider the scurvy crew that’s frothing at the mouth over the fate of the tousle-haired All-American boy on the cover of Rolling Stone. Moonbats, NPR, The Boston Globe, terrorists — but I repeat myself. Even by the low standards of Congress, Loretta Sanchez’s performance ranks as a disgrace. The Democrat from California managed — in just a few minutes — to turn the congressional investigation of the marathon terror bombings into a political hatchet job, while demonstrating her complete ignorance of basic facts of the case. Sanchez somehow butchered the names of the alleged terror bombers not once, but three times, calling the Tsarnaev brothers “Tsarnavar,” then “Tsarnev,” and finally “Tsarnov.” “There are still unanswered questions about the Tsarnavar brothers,” the tongue-tied congresswoman said. Yes, like, how to pronounce the names of the terrorists....

Head-in-the-sand approach to Islamic terror There are several “laws” such as Godwin’s Law. Godwin’s Law is named after American lawyer and author, Mike Godwin, and postulates the longer a discussion on the Internet goes, the chance that one of the participants will compare someone or something to Hitler or the Nazis increases. A new and similar law is needed; perhaps it could be called “Ortiz’ Law.” Ortiz’ Law would hypothesize that the longer a person discusses Islamic terrorism, the more certain it will be that that person will say the act or acts in question have absolutely nothing to do...

The vast majority of those cases took place at the state level. Federal prisoners like Tsarnaev are even less likely to be executed. Between 1988, when Congress reinstated the death penalty for federal cases, and 2013, 71 federal defendants were sentenced to death; only three were executed, compared with 10 who had their sentences or convictions overturned on appeal. (One inmate died on death row, and another had his sentence commuted to life by President Bill Clinton in 2001.) No federal execution has taken place since 2003. Their violence, however disruptive, still accepts the state-based international order as an organizing principle. One might even claim that by aspiring to eventually become recognized state authorities, most terrorist groups reaffirm and strengthen an international order that is based on states. The challenge posed by the Islamic State and al-Qaeda is different. How about now? Are you in favor of the death penalty now? I ask because the preferred argument from opponents of the death penalty is doubt: We can never be sure; look at all of the people released from death row; we can't afford to risk ending a single innocent life. None of those arguments apply to Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. He admitted, through his lawyers, that he and his brother murdered three people and maimed 260 others at the Boston Marathon. Here is more on the triple Jewish murder -- Earlier I posted that the Boston Jihad Bomber's "only American friend" had his throat slit. I said, "I think this case should be reopened in light of the Boston jihad. Throat slitting is a jihad speciality." What I didn't know was that there were three victims, all Jewish, or that they had their throats slit on September 11. We know that under Islam, slaughtering Jews is the most "righteous" of all kuffar murder: "I killed my Jew!" Islamic Jew-hatred -- it's in the quran. Police in a Boston suburb are investigating...

Boston bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev may have murdered his 'only American friend' in an unsolved triple killing two years ago, it emerged today. Brendan Mess had his 'throat slit' alongside two other men in a Massachusetts apartment in 2011 in what police described as a 'very graphic crime scene'. Former associates of the Chechan immigrant didn't initially suspect him of carrying out the gruesome attack, but thought it was strange he didn't attend his friend's funeral. Now one man who knew Tamerlan through the gym where they trained said some of their social circle 'without even speaking about it beforehand...

REPORT: 'Mounting Evidence' Ties Tsarnaev Brothers To 2011 Triple Homicide Pamela EngelMay 10, 2013Law enforcement officials have told ABC News that "mounting" forensic evidence from an unsolved triple homicide tie Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev to the crime. Cell phone records also place the brothers in the area of the murders on the date they were committed. On Sept. 11, 2011, three men were found in a residence with their throats slit and their bodies covered in marijuana. Tamerlan described one of the murder victims, 25-year-old Brendan Mess, as his best friend. He and Mess were once roommates and boxed together....

BOSTON (AP) — Every time the widow of suspected Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev leaves her parents' house, federal agents watching the residence follow her in unmarked vehicles. Federal authorities are placing intense pressure on what they know to be the inner circle of the two bombing suspects, arresting three college buddies of surviving brother Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, and keeping Tamerlan's 24-year-old widow, Katherine Russell, in the public eye with their open surveillance and leaks to media about investigators' focus on her. Legal experts say it's part of their quest not just to determine whether Russell and the friends are culpable...

Hours after the Boston Marathon bombings but before authorities identified suspects Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, President Barack Obama purposefully addressed the nation. "We will find out who did this. We'll find out why they did this," the president pledged. "Any responsible individuals, any responsible groups, will feel the full weight of justice." Days later, there's reason to wonder how zealously the administration will work to uncover everything that needs to be known. The day after the Sept. 11, 2012, Benghazi, Libya, attacks, which left four Americans -- Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, Sean Smith, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty -- dead,...

To call the Tsarnaev family a “piece of work” is an insult to work. But they are a piece of something, something the editors won’t let me write here (just think of what last night’s dinner is now). Not only were Tamerlan, the Boston terrorist currently burning in Hell, and Dzhokhar, the Boston terrorist soon to be burning in Hell, on welfare, but their whole family was on the government dole. This isn’t as much a case against welfare as it is a case against immigration reform. In their time in this country this family did nothing but take and...
