Another tradition is making some people uneasy: the Easter Bunny. Some folks, worried that the Easter Bunny correlates too closely with Christian traditions and is therefore offensive to non-Christians, are abandoning the little fellow. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the town of Walnut Creek renamed its Easter Bunny the "Spring Bunny." The Easter Bunny was arrested Saturday afternoon. A 36-year-old Carter Lake man playing the part at the Mall of the Bluffs in Council Bluffs became angry when someone dumped water on him while he was working at a photo area, according to Council Bluffs police reports. My wife and I were putting away the kids Easter decorations found this 2" tall bunny figurine. We read the caption and had a good laugh. At first glance, being a cute, pink bunny, it ended up in our box of decorations.
