  • Mainstream Media: You better win this one and get Trump impeached or you are finished

The fake news you constantly publish | 10 June 2017 | Mene Mene Tekel Upharsin
The media needs to understand something. They are colluding with the Democrats and the Federal Agencies in an attempt to get Donald Trump impeached or somehow force him to resign. I have friends who work in a VERY large Federal Agency and they say this is all just the beginning, a "process" they call it that will continue until Trump is out of office. And, they say it with total confidence which chills me to the bone. Be careful what you wish for. The media especially apparently has miscalculated not only the end result of the recent Presidential elections, but...

Values and what MY mom taught me | 9 June 2017 | Mene Mene Tekel Upharsin
James Comey mentioned in his testimony at one time something about "what my mom taught me" in regard to values. He lied. Any man taught Biblical values properly by one's parents and/or Bible teachers at church and sometimes in an educational setting will stick by those values for the rest of his life. Comey hasn't done that. His priority in life was his income and retirement. So, he would go with the political winds in order to survive. Many have done this in their lives in order to remain employed and/or earn more money. So many senators praised Comey for...

  • Business Education -- What to do with a week's worth of vacation?

06/08/2017 10:54:54 AM PDT · by Rocky Mountain Wild Turkey · 25 replies
Hello all. Straight to the point ... I have A LOT of vacation with my current job. I like the work, and it provides a steady income and nice lifestyle. However, I would like to learn how to be more entrepreneurial. Could my friends here on FR recommend REAL opportunities where I can take time off and go somewhere to learn for a week how to legitimately start a "side hustle" of a sustainable one-man business, or become part of an investing group, etc.?? Many thanks is advance.

Solar cycle 24 has seen very low solar activity thus far, likely the lowest in 100 years. Figure 1: F10.7 Flux 2014 2017 The F10.7 flux shows that over the last three and a half years the Sun has gone from solar maximum through a bounded decline to the current stage of the trail to minimum. Solar minimum is likely to be still three years away. "Germany is quietly building a European army under its command," according to some in the media. Apparently German Chancellor Angela Merkel, after her clash with U.S. President Donald Trump, would like to invest, along with France, in a European army. At present, however, there is just one real army in Europe -- the Jihadist Army, as in the terrorists who struck London on June 3 and murdered seven people, just two weeks after carnage in Manchester. In the four European countries most targeted by terror attacks -- Britain, France, Belgium and Germany -- the number of official extremists has reached...

When Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj teamed up, their resulting single Side to Side shot right to the top of the charts! And it's easy to see why; the song is catchy, it's sexy, and it's got an energetic, bouncing, funky beat that will have you bobbing along with the music even if you have no idea what the song is about. Plus, that VMA performance with the exercise bicycles was pretty neat. Speaking of "what the song is talking about," it's not always easy to tell what's really going on in lyrics like these. The girls use their fair...

A team of researchers at the Israel Institute of Technology has developed a new capacitor with a metal-insulator-semiconductor (MIS) diode structure that is tunable by illumination. The capacitor, which features embedded metal nanoparticles, is similar to a metal-insulator-metal (MIM) diode, except that the capacitance of the new device depends on illumination and exhibits a strong frequency dispersion, allowing for a high degree of tunability. This new capacitor has the potential to enhance wireless capability for information processing, sensing and telecommunications. The researchers report their findings this week in the Journal of Applied Physics. "We have developed a capacitor with the...

Overall score was a 960, so I am looking for recommendations as to a course of study for the summer. He is going to be a senior next year, and currently is a 2.9 / 3.0 student. He will be taking his SAT in spring of 2018.
  • Facebook memes mocking child deaths, Holocaust, cost 10 their spots at Harvard

The students in the spin-off group exchanged memes and images mocking sexual assault, the Holocaust and the deaths of children, sometimes directing jokes at specific ethnic or racial groups, according to screenshots of the chat obtained by the Crimson. One message called the hypothetical hanging of a Mexican child piata time. Other messages quipped that abusing children was sexually arousing. Then, university officials caught on. And in mid-April, after administrators discovered the offensive, racially-charged meme exchanges, at least 10 incoming students who participated in the chat received letters informing them that their offers of admission had been revoked. ... With the Republican nomination and subsequent election of Donald Trump there has been a great deal of hand wringing regarding what it means to be conservative. Does it mean this or that and who gets to determine which? Many conservative publications have spent more than a few pixels on this topic; and yes, most of the editors believe they get to define it. They are wrong. In fact the framing of the entire argument is wrong. And for all you self-identified conservatives out there please dont get your panties in a bundle since the same can be said of liberalism....

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. A Tennessee teen was accepted at Yale University after she wrote about her love for Papa Johns pizza in her application essay. Carolina Williams tells ABC News that it was surreal when she received notes from the Ivy League universitys admission team that highlighted her essay on her love for Papa Johns. The essay was one of 10 she wrote for her application to Yale. It really tickled me that they specifically commented on that one because there were a ton of essays, Williams told ABC News. I think it stood out because it was just very...

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. Looking out over a sea of people in Harvard Yard last week, Mark Zuckerberg, Facebooks chief executive and one of Harvards most famous dropouts, told this years graduating class that it was living in an unstable time, when the defining struggle was against the forces of authoritarianism, isolationism and nationalism. Two days earlier, another end-of-year ceremony had taken place, just a short walk away on a field outside the law school library. It was Harvards first commencement for black graduate students, and many of the speakers talked about a different, more personal kind of struggle, the struggle...

What in the name of Ru Paul is wrong with the New York City Board of Education? Parents are furious after children as young as 5-years-old were exposed to a man's erotic drag show performance at what was supposed to be a school district talent show. My first reaction was what the hell is going on, parent Raquel Morales told me. The New York Daily News described the lewd performance as complete with gyrations, tongue gymnastics and a flashed G-string. The May 25th performance shocked and enraged parents who could not believe the school district would allow a grown man...
