Her name is Monroe Christine. She is twenty months old. She was born on television. You see, Monroe belongs to a reality television star and his partner—Jeff Lewis and Gage Edwards of Bravo’s Flipping Out. Her conception, gestation, and birth were part of the drama of the show, and now her parties and wardrobe and babbling continue to be part of the show. The men will not do business with the woman who gave birth to Monroe ever again. Her name is Alexandra Trent, and she’s suing the men and Bravo. As part of the transaction, Alexandra agreed to have...
  • Muslim Parents Take Kids Out of Berlin Nursery After Discovering Teacher Is Gay

    03/31/2017 2:01:15 PM PDT · by nickcarraway · 15 replies
A protest by Muslim parents against a gay man looking after their children at a Kindergarten has led to a public debate in the liberal capital city. The parents of preschool children in the northern district of Reinickendorf threatened to gather names for a petition against the kindergarten when they found out that one of the nursery teachers was gay, Tagesspiegel reported on Wednesday. At first the protest led the young man to request to be transferred to another kindergarten. But the management of the preschool put their foot down and gave the parents the choice: either accept that a...

Last month it was the Anglicans who chose to "queer the liturgy" of evening prayer in honor LGTB history month by renaming the Holy Spirit "The Fantabulosa Fairy" and God the Father became "the Dutchess". Not to be outdone, Catholic LGTB supporters and numerous left leaning protestant churches throughout the United States and Canada intend to show their support by wearing "glitter ash" on their foreheads to mark Ash Wednesday.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Federal health officials are lifting the nation's 32-year-old lifetime ban on blood donations from gay and bisexual men, but major restrictions will continue to limit who can donate. The Food and Drug Administration announced Monday it will replace the blanket ban with a new policy barring donations from men who have had sex with a man in the previous year. While the one-year-ban has been criticized by activists it matches policies in other countries, including Australia, Japan and the U.K. Gay rights activists said the new policy is a "step in the right direction," but falls short.

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump said Sunday that there is a "very severe problem" with some Muslims, and declined to say whether he'd support a Muslim president of the United States. In an interview on NBC's "Meet the Press," Trump said that he feels "strongly that Muslims are excellent. I know so many Muslims that are such fabulous people. But he continued,"We can be politically correct and say there is no problem whatsoever, but the fact is, there is a problem with some and it's a very severe problem and it's a problem that's taking place all over the world.

Michael Sam’s Rams jersey is flying off the shelves at NFLShop.com, with the No. 249th pick out-selling the draft’s top overall pick. The jersey is the second best-seller among players drafted over the weekend, trailing only Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel, who got a two-day head start on the former SEC co-defensive player of the year. Sam, who became the first openly-gay player selected in the NFL draft...

American figure skater Johnny Weir has made quite an impression in Sochi working as a commentator for NBC during the Olympics. He frequently sports bright outfits, proclaimed his fearlessness in the face of Russia's anti-gay policies, and painted the town red (OK, pink) with fellow commentator Tara Lipinski. But on Wednesday, with his eyes on figure skating but his heart and mind on more pressing matters elsewhere, he used his fashion and his flamboyance to make a political statement. As only he can. Here is the statement:

As part of a national journalism conference on Tuesday, August 20, America’s Survival, Inc. (ASI), a public policy organization, is officially releasing a new report on radical changes at Fox News that should cause great concern to pro-family conservatives. “Pushing Sean Hannity out of the 9:00 p.m. slot, to make way for pro-homosexual advocate Megyn Kelly, is another sign of the channel’s left-ward drift and decline,” said ASI President Cliff Kincaid, a veteran journalist and media critic. The 40,000-word report, written by former reporter and social activist Peter LaBarbara, examines how journalism today, even at Fox News, “has become pro-homosexual...

ABSTRACT Male and female homosexuality have substantial prevalence in humans. Pedigree and twin studies indicate that homosexuality has substantial heritability in both sexes, yet concordance between identical twins is low and molecular studies have failed to find associated DNA markers. This paradoxical pattern calls for an explanation. We use published data on fetal androgen signaling and gene regulation via nongenetic changes in DNA packaging (epigenetics) to develop a new model for homosexuality. reduced androgen sensitivity in XX fetuses and enhanced sensitivity in XY fetuses, and that this difference is most feasibly caused by numerous sex-specific epigenetic modifications (“epi-marks”) originating in...

We have our standards.” She also encouraged people to attend the city’s Gay Pride Parade, remarking, “It’s fabulous, you’ll love it.” San Francisco’s ban on public nudity went into effect on Feb. 1, but not without protests as four naked people were arrested on the steps of City Hall. “Enough with the public nudity,” Pelosi said in an interview with The Huffington Post on Feb....

José Benítez, the mayor of Huarmey, a town on the coast of central Peru, claims that the high levels of strontium in the local tap water is reducing male hormones and causing an increase in the homosexual population, reported Peruvian newspaper, La Republica. Benitez made the comments at the launch of a local water access project, it was reported. The mayor's audience was surprised by his comments, and he is being criticized by some for his "ignorance." Dr. Robert Castro Rodriguez, dean of the College of Pharmaceutical Chemistry of Lima, said Benitez's claims were off the mark, telling a Peruvian...

Gay activists furious with Obama By: Ben Smith and Nia-Malika Henderson December 17, 2008 06:32 PM EST Barack Obama’s choice of a prominent evangelical minister to perform the invocation at his inauguration is a conciliatory gesture toward social conservatives who opposed him in November, but it is drawing fierce challenges from a gay rights movement that – in the wake of a gay marriage ban in California – is looking for a fight. Rick Warren, the senior pastor of Saddleback Church in southern California, opposes abortion rights but has taken more liberal stances on the government role in fighting poverty,...

he McCain campaign calls her a "tough executive who has demonstrated" readiness to be president. The Republican National Committee calls her a "conservative star with the talent, energy and family support necessary to carry out common sense policies." But the Obama campaign calls her a candidate with "the thinnest foreign policy experience in history" who is "currently under investigation in her own state." And one of the Senate's top Democrats, Charles Schumer, said that although she is "a fine person, her lack of experience makes the thought of her assuming the presidency troubling." When Dexter Guptill and his gun-slinging group head into a restaurant, they can't help but be noticed by other patrons. Virginia state gun law prohibits concealed weapons in establishments that serve alcohol, so he and his crew must display their firearms. It turns heads, but Guptill doesn't mind; it gives him and his friends a chance to talk about the Pink Pistols - the gay, gun rights group that they all belong to. As unlikely as the combination of guns and gays may sound, the Pink Pistols have grown since their inception in 2000 to include over 40 chapters in...
