During friendly questioning from Rep. Hank “I fear that Guam will capsize!” Johnson in Congress last week, Attorney General Eric Holder offered the following statement. In regard to potential prosecution of the press for the disclosure of material. This is not something I’ve ever been involved in, heard of, or would think would be wise policy. He made that statement before the facts about the sweep on Fox News’ James Rosen were known. Since then, it’s come to light that Holder himself approved the subpoena that, among other things, named Rosen as a criminal co-conspirator.

The Indian-American author called The Washington Post’s charge “totally bogus” Indian-American journalist and author Fareed Zakaria, who has been suspended by CNN and Time magazine after he admitted to plagiarism, is now accused of publishing without attribution a passage from a 2005 book, a charge he vehemently denied as “totally bogus.” The new allegation against the 48-year-old Zakaria, levelled by The Washington Post, was, however, refuted by The Daily Beast, which said the author’s book did contain a citation to what he quoted in his 2008 book The Post-American World. Mr. Zakaria’s book contained a quote from the former Intel...

By now you've probably seen enough -- literally -- of Anthony Weiner, the New York City Congressman embroiled in a scandal involving online relationships with several women, including his sending suggestive photos taken from the House of Representatives gym. Members of both parties have called on Weiner to resign. The raunchy emails from the married Congressman aren't terribly shocking. Several studies have estimated that more than half of men and women are unfaithful to their spouses. The public outrage has stemmed in my opinion not from Weiner's tweets, but his deception. Rep. Weiner lied to reporters, instructed others to lie...

Would you take a paycheck from an organization you consider illegitimate? Neal Gabler apparently would. "I don't want to bite the hand that feeds me my Kool-Aid," claimed Gabler on this evening's "Fox News Watch." He then proceeded to do just that, claiming that Democrats pulled out of the Fox-sponsored presidential candidate debate in Nevada "for the same reason that Republicans would not go on Air America -- it doesn't make any political sense. Why in the world would you want to legitimize a network that spends hour after hour after hour after hour to, to." View video hereInterjected host...

Controversial professor Ward Churchill's academic career is coming under increasing scrutiny. A fellow scholar is alleging that some of Churchill's academic work is fraudulent. In question now is Churchill's claim of a US Army sposored genocide of Mandan Indians in 1837. After checking sources, Dr. Thomas Brown of Lamar University of Texas concluded Churchill made it all up. 'I mean, making up data is already one of the worst things you can do in academia, but to make up a story about genocide is unconscionable, he said. 'Some of the falsehoods Churchill has propogated have worked their way into scholarly literature....
