The Glock 19X has received a lot of hate from the concealed carry community who wanted a Glock 17 slide on a Glock 19 frame. My guess is that they may have their wish later on, but for now, the 19X is a problem solver for a different customer. Daniel Shaw of GunMag Warehouse discuss with Jeremy Strafford of Guns & Ammo Magazine about this hate. The focus of the conversation is really about who this gun was design for. For starters there isn't any problem with the 19X according to Jeremy. (who is also an LE officer) Even though...

The 26-year-old man who walked into a Sutherland Springs church and opened fire did so with a variant of the AR-15, a popular rifle that is based on the military’s M-16, police said Sunday. The rifle used by Devin Kelley was the Ruger AR-556, Texas Department of Public Safety Regional Director Freeman Martin said in a news conference. The AR-15 is more of a category than a specific weapon. It is known for being customizable, with hundreds of variants, each with its own characteristics. On the morning of June 8th, 2017, I was openly carrying a Glock 17 in a Fobus retention holster. I had to get some medical tests done. I did not have any problem where I had blood drawn. There were no "gun free zone" signs on the door. Next I went to the Yuma Regional Medical Center (YRMC) to get a chest X-ray.  It serves as a place to have medical tests done for the entire area. It is part of the Yuma hospital complex.  They have banned guns on their facility ever since the concealed carry shall issue...

If you're into short barrel and Glocks then you may want to get a modifying kit for the Glock. CAA has a conversion kit that converts your Glock into a carbine. (sort of) Its aluminum and polymer RONI unit doesn't add any barrel length, the pistol is encapsulated, has an adjustable stock with cheekplate, a vertical foregrip and has lots of rail space for optics and a tactical light. Buttstock has the ability to store an extra magazine. What do you all think, is it worth getting one? See the Micro Roni footage here.

Like most members of law enforcement, Lynn Koch dreads the day he has to draw his service weapon. Even if to protect his own life, it can mean death to another person. But on a cold winter day Koch, a Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks game warden, drew his .45 Glock to save the lives of two animals, and ensure the safety of another game warden and his own. “I have a lariat in my pickup, but knew there was no way to use it without one of us maybe getting hurt,” Koch said of when he and fellow...

Saving the reefs and getting a good meal– with a gun! Consuming eighty per-cent of a reef’s edible baitfish in mere weeks and overpopulating like mad, the Lionfish is a deeply invasive species with no natural predators in the area– at least until now. Here in this video, the crew with Go Fish Productions opted to go Lionfish hunting– and with a gun! They used nontoxic, lead-free ammuniton and ate what they caught, all while doing their best to preserve the reef and keep its more native inhabitants happy. Not a bad job, and it looks like fun!
