Although I am a believer, not a skeptic, I’m a thinking believer. I’m not impressed with the “discovery” of the face of Jesus in a piece of wood. Or the map of America appearing in a bowl of melting ice cream.

Thanks for joining our study. For weeks now, readers have noticed a “news flash” about Rabbi Jonathan Cahn’s documentary “The Harbingers of Things to Come.” Note that I have promoted his movie with no compensation but believe that Rabbi Cahn’s prophetic, biblically-based messages and God’s dire warnings about our national future are calamitous and valid. To help us learn, raise awareness, positively react, and respond to the movie’s message, Rabbi Cahn created a study guide based on the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament) verses featured in the film and relevant to God’s warnings. Today, we will examine three of those passages....

Additionally, it appears on all major bookselling lists. The Harbinger ll is a sequel to “The Harbinger,”Cahn’s 2011 first mega-hit that spent over 100 consecutive weeks as a NYT bestseller and among Amazon’s top 100 bestsellers for over six months. If unfamiliar with Cahn, you might ask, “What is the topic of these two Harbinger books that many believe the NYT mistakenly...

At least one quarter of the Bible consists of prophecy, much of which has been fulfilled, demonstrating the veracity of the scriptures and the unseen hand of our great Creator that inspired them. The Bible contains many mysteries, some of which result from the figurative language used in dreams and visions in prophecy. As indicated by the Reformers quoted in the following many prophecies remained mysteries, until the prophecy was fulfilled which could then be understood through hindsight, as in the examples that we will explore in these pages.

Papal Visit - Ominous Harbinger Of Things To Come Several hours ago, the pope returned to the Vatican from the United States. We all got a glimpse into what we may expect from this pontificate - and it ain't pretty! We heard some snippets of exhortation to respect innocent life, but they were minuscule in comparison with the shillings for the allowance of illegal immigration, climate change, death penalty, arms trade, etc: all the talking points that had progressives (Obama included) waxing giddy with joy. Jim Sedlak of American Life League penned his opinion of some of the pope's addresses,...

The other day I was thinking of a lingering question I had about the Erez tree harbinger. While I may not be assured of every single last word Jonathan Cahn says about the connections between Isaiah 9 and 9/11, I do believe the basic ones are plainly there. I've researched their background myself, so I'm convinced of that, and of the Isaiah9-9/11 connection's significance. The only harbinger that I didn't feel I'd looked into far enough was the Erez tree, though the evidence of the others I believed was so strong, that I haven't concerned about that. I'd partly looked...

President Obama’s state of the union address was loaded with sweet delights meant to bedazzle America’s long-suffering middle class as he signaled economic prosperity for all is waiting just around the corner. But the author of a New York Times-best-selling book about America’s future in a post-Christian society was not impressed. He sees dark storm clouds closing in on Obama’s rays of sunshine, citing “harbingers” that the country is sliding headlong toward a collapse – with blindfolds securely fastened. “Listening to the president’s State of the Union address, I was reminded of ancient Israel,” said Jonathan Cahn, author of “The...

The author of “The Harbinger,” the inspiration behind the “Isaiah 9:10 Judgment” documentary, says the seventh harbinger is no more. A tree that was placed at the site of the 9/11 Muslim terror attack in New York City has died, has been removed, and destroyed. “Harbinger” author Jonathan Cahn says it’s because of his book that the tree will not be replaced. His work examines the nine harbingers, or warnings, recorded in the Bible that were delivered to Israel before the nation disintegrated. He contends God is giving the same nine warnings now to America to urge the nation to...

WASHINGTON – At the National Day of Prayer event held on Capitol Hill Thursday, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn issued a dire warning to America: The nation “stands in danger of impending judgment, and we all know it.â€â€œToo much of the church has lost its saltiness to do anything about it,†he declared. “And now the same biblical signs of national judgment that appeared in the last days of ancient Israel are reappearing on American soil.â€At the beginning of his commanding speech, Cahn, warned that his address would not be politically correct. He urged the nation to “come before the Lord and...

WASHINGTON – Given the moral and spiritual state of the nation, some have called it “the most important speech given in modern American history.” It was delivered by Jonathan Cahn, author of the best-selling book “The Harbinger,” Jan. 21, 2013, the morning of Barack Obama’s second presidential inauguration, at the Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast. The unofficial gathering, which included members of Congress, government leaders and Christian ministers, took place just one hour before Obama took the oath of the presidency. “[The address] was a prophetic exposé of America’s fall from God, a revealing of the biblical signs of judgment manifesting...

I never dreamed when I wrote what I assumed would be a “throwaway” column last week calling for a day of national prayer and fasting on 9/11 that my plea would be met with an outpouring of enthusiastic support from thousands of people. It clearly struck a chord. I’ve been doing media around the clock ever since. Pastors are telling their congregations about the plan. Lay activists are talking it up in Bible studies. Rabbis are writing to me expressing their support. I secured the domain name 911dayofprayer.com, which is where you can go to express your support for the...

"Inauguration Day or Judgment Day?"In the early morning hours of Jan. 21, the day President Obama is scheduled to be inaugurated, the Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast will be sounding a powerful warning to Washington, D.C., to – in the words of its keynote speaker – turn from its prideful ways or face the judgment of God. Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, the controversial author of “The Harbinger” – the startling New York Times bestseller that claims the U.S. is receiving the same divine warnings ancient Israel once did … and following the same path to destruction – has been chosen to deliver...

This is an excerpt to wet your desire for an interesting book. “They had no idea what was coming. They thought it would all go on as it always had, as if it would never change. They had no idea what was about to happen or what it was all leading to. Everything they had ever known, up to that point, their entire world, would vanish.” “Who?” “An ancient people…an ancient kingdom. Israel, the northern kingdom, eighth century B.C. They should have known. It was all there from the beginning, but they forgot.” “Forgot what?” “Their purpose, their foundation, that...

'What we once knew to be immoral, we celebrate' Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, author of “The Harbinger” – the startling New York Times bestseller that suggests the U.S. is in the shadow of judgment from God for its rejection of Him – stood at the podium for this year’s Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast in Washington on Inauguration Day. Amid weeping, praying and the sounding of shofars from the audience, Cahn said the U.S. has chosen a path that takes the nation away from God, and he pleaded with its leaders to return. “What we once knew to be immoral, we celebrate,”...

WASHINGTON – It would be natural for state and city officials to talk about rebuilding after the devastation of the New York City area by Hurricane Sandy. But what is catching the eye and ear of those who have read “The Harbinger” and viewed “The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment” is the similarity of the remarks to those that reverberate throughout the bestselling book and movie and how they echo the words of the leaders of ancient Israel before that nation was judged and destroyed. First it was New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who said at the site of Ground Zero: “This...

Author of 'Isaiah 9:10 Judgment' interviewed on American Family Radio It may be scary and it may be eerie, but events in America today are following a biblical pattern of warnings of a coming judgment, according to the author of “The Harbinger,” which has been No. 1 among Christian books since it was released last winter. In its film form, the message has been No. 1 among all Christian videos since it debuted as “The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment” in March. Author Jonathan Cahn, in an interview with American Family Radio, explained that the template was created when God issued a...
