HAYMARKET, Va. (7News) — A Falls Church man who made alleged threats of violence online was arrested on Sunday after he was found heavily armed at a church in Haymarket, police said. Investigators said that 35-year-old Rui Jiang made suspicious and concerning posts on Instagram regarding Park Valley Church in Haymarket. A Maryland resident who came across the posts reported them to police in Anne Arundel County, officials said. Commuters who live in western Prince William and Fauquier counties can leave the driving to someone else come Dec. 17 when a new bus begins round-trip service from Haymarket to Arlington. The “OmniRide Haymarket Express” will make four trips in the morning and four return trips in the afternoon and early evening. It will run along I-66 between Haymarket and the Rosslyn Metro station. The trips will originate from the new park-and-ride lot on the northeast corner of U.S. 15 and Interstate 66. Several fights broke out inside of the Rule G Night Club, located at 530 Canopy Street, after a Chris Brown concert at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Monday night. There were an estimated five different fights between the hours of 12:15 a.m. and 1:30 a.m., according to witnesses. Authorities said that when they arrived on scene, they saw patrons “hitting each other with liquor containers, chairs, and sections of metal portable fence panels.” Lincoln Police also saw Batrell Wells, 25, of Omaha, approach of group of people and hit another man in the head with a metal chair. A special dedication ceremony to celebrate the installation of two Civil War Trail markers will take place 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Haymarket. The signs were placed around the Haymarket Museum grounds. The dedication will also mark the 142nd anniversary of the burning of the town, which took place Nov. 5, 1862, and is the subject of one of the signs.
