This is a question, not an assertion. South Carolina has an open primary, meaning Democrats can vote in the "Republican" primary. In 2008, this helped cause the McCain disaster, and everyone I've encountered seems convinced this will mean the Democrats help elect a RINO Republican, especially since there will not be a competitive Democrat primary. But will they? A strong majority of South Carolina Democrats are black. While Democrat-leaning voters make up only 40% of South Carolina voters, 30% of South Carolina citizens are black, and nearly all of them are Democrats. I will be as honest and open as I can without betraying my friendship to Herman Cain. Background: I have known Herman Cain for almost 7 years, far before he has his eye on running for President, and before he became a talk show host. My first time sitting in a professional radio studio(did some DJ'ing in college) was at the invite of Herman Cain. I later co-hosted my very own show in that very studio. I have been very blessed by God. I have surrounded myself with very awesome men. Wonderful men of God with GREAT character, conviction, and...

Former pizza chain CEO, tea partier and potential 2012 Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain closed out CPAC on day two, declaring that "the American Dream is under attack," and that "stupid people are ruining America." Cain said that the American Dream is being attacked by what he calls "the -ations" -- legislation, regulation, and taxation. He continued that Republicans need to repeal and replace health care reform, and also "throw out" the "messed up tax code" and replace it with a new system. The "objective of the liberals is to destroy America," he Cain continued, but "if you can get...

Earth to taxpayers! Owning stocks in banks is not nationalization of the banking industry. Itīs trying to solve a problem. The unprecedented financial crisis has caused the Treasury of the United States to take unprecedented measures to help solve the problem of frozen credit and cash flow for U.S. businesses. Most of us had dreams of what we wanted to be when we grew up as children. Some of us wanted to grow up and become a fireman, a policeman, a doctor, a nurse, a lawyer, a teacher, an actor, an engineer, a writer, a dancer, a chef or any...

Thank Joshua Green of the Atlantic, who recently profiled Cain, for digging this up. Iím not sure if the clip was considered ďlost,Ē exactly, but Iíd never seen it before and a quickie YouTube search of ďherman cain bill clintonĒ reveals nothing on point until Green uploaded this yesterday. He writes, ďIf this video goes viral among conservative activists, Cainís candidacy will be even more interesting to watch.Ē Letís see what we can do about that. This takes awhile to get hopping but stick with it for his rebuttal to Clinton at around five minutes in. Youíre not watching for...

When Herman Cain announced on Wednesday, January 12, that he was forming an exploratory committee to test the waters for a possible presidential bid, he immediately faced questions about his perceived lack of experience. After all, Cain had only a failed U.S. Senate bid in 2004 on his political resume. When Herman spoke to my AP Government class in December, one of the students asked him the same question: "Are you electable, given your lack of political pedigree?" Cain's answer was one that he has since echoed in subsequent interviews. He asked the class to think about the political background...
