A Hilton hotel in San Francisco has defaulted on its mortgage, missing its $97 million loan payment - in the latest in the 'doom loop' crisis for the liberal city. The city’s hospitality sector is faltering alongside the rise in rampant crime, debilitating homelessness, and dangerous public drug use - with fewer people wanting to visit San Fran compared to before the pandemic. According to a securities filing, the owner of the Hilton Financial District, a 544-room hotel, said it defaulted on a loan last Wednesday. It was warned that its lenders could potentially seek to foreclose on the property...

Angry residents and workers Sunday decried the hordes of hookers brazenly peddling themselves on a Queens street, where it was business as usual the day after The Post exposed the rampant illegal trade. “The police do nothing — nothing!” fumed Anna Garcia, 42, who works at a cellphone store along the seedy stretch of Roosevelt Avenue in Corona dubbed the “Market of Sweethearts” by the prostitutes. “Drugs, prostitution, alcohol — it’s terrible,” she said of the flagrant “underground” red-light district taking over the neighborhood filled with families with children.

Not too long ago, San Francisco was still a remarkably beautiful city, although even then it could change on a dime. One could be in the midst of a leisurely stroll down a gorgeous street filled with chic cafes, turn a corner, and find oneself without warning in the middle of a large crowd of menacing homeless drug addicts. Now, after decades of far-Left misrule that has picked up speed in the wake of the COVID hysteria, the city’s dirty, degrading, and dangerous areas are growing rapidly and taking the whole place over, and the city’s remaining sane people are...

Another bit of bad news for downtown San Francisco arrived Monday morning with the revelation that the investment firm that owns the Hilton San Francisco Union Square and Parc 55 hotels is walking away from its debts and giving up hope on a return of SF's convention market. Virginia-based REIT Park Hotels & Resorts has opted to cease payments on a $725 million loan, as the SF Business Times reports today, essentially surrendering over 2,900 hotel rooms and hospitality facilities to its lender. This includes the 1,921-room Hilton San Francisco Union Square, which is San Francisco's largest hotel, occupying an...

Fox News is shaking up its weekend lineup in the wake of the departures of two hosts, Steve Hilton and Dan Bongino. Bongino, who hosted a Saturday night show, left the network last month after the two parties couldn’t reach an agreement on terms. The departure of Hilton is equally un-dramatic: he’s leaving his 9 p.m. Sunday show to dedicate himself full-time to what Fox described as a “new California non-partisan policy organization launching next week.” He will remain with the network as a contributor. In light of those departures, Fox announced a new lineup starting this weekend. The network...

A business traveler passing through Nashville woke up to find the manager of his hotel sucking on his toes, court records show. The victim said he was sleeping at the downtown Nashville Hilton Hotel on March 30 when he woke at about 5am to discover manager David Patrick Neal, 52, indulging a footy fetish on his lower digits. Startled, the guest said he screamed and called the police. Neal later said he used a key to enter the room because he smelled smoke, though police reports noted he hadn't reported the smells to anybody at the time. Neal, who has...

Owner of Hilton, Marriott and Hyatt-branded lodging decries “sham” process.. Hospitality Investors Trust, a hotel investor bankrupted by the pandemic and taken over by Brookfield Property Group, is taking its insurers into court over Covid-related losses. The private REIT, which owns hotels branded by Hilton, Marriott and Hyatt, on Tuesday filed a lawsuit in New York against six insurers over a “sham investigation” meant to delay and deny up to $150 million in coverage “under a broad ‘all-risk’ commercial property insurance,” according to the complaint. The hospitality company claimed its insurance policies cover “physical loss or damage,” “business interruption losses,”...

A black man with an AR-15 and ammunition threatened to blow up the Hilton Atlanta Airport Hotel tuesday evening, June 14, 2022 in Atlanta, GA. An eyewitness related to me watching a SWAT team blow by him on the way in to the hotel and watched them bring the suspect out (black guy) with the AR-15 in their possession. The media apparently did not see fit to report this story. Anyone with more information please post it on this thread. We are being played for fools.

The 41-year-old made an appearance on the Australian news program The Project where she talked about working with the Irwin family on a project involving the Australia Zoo. Aside from contributing her fame to a commercial about wildlife, however, Hilton shared her experience of becoming an advocate for children suffering abuse. Hilton will be closing its Times Square location in Manhattan in October due to fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic, the hotel said in a state filing earlier this week. "A total of 200 employees will be impacted." The company cited "unforeseeable business circumstances prompted by COVID-19." The coronavirus pandemic has sharply affected...

“So here is the question: What the hell do we have to do to get the Biden corruption investigated? For three years, President Trump has his administration blocked and probed and hounded, but nothing on the other side. That is not fair. That is not justice. That is not the rule of law, but the law of the “swamp” – and the king of the swamp is Joe Biden.”
