ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The site of a new ghost town in New Mexico has been chosen, and it will bring hundreds of new jobs to the state. The research firm Pegasus Global Holdings announced today that Hobbs is the best place for the state-of-the-art project. It will create a $1 billion site about the size of a town of 35,000 people complete with homes, streets and businesses but no residents. Instead of being a place to live, it will be used for scientists to test renewable energy innovations, traffic systems, next-generation wireless networks and smart-grid security systems. The company said...

Time for some True Crime. We begin with some very intriguing updates on the Edington murder. Jonathan Edington stabbed his neighbor to death over allegations of molestation by his 2 year old. The police say the baby was NOT molested. So what's going to happen to Edington? And why might the police be misleading us? Also, updates on that female soldier who went missing in the Ukraine, notes on "Dog" Chapman, a woman kills her baby while it's in her belly, and the Jerry Hobbs trial begins. Hobbs killed his daughter and her friend. Why should his confession be disallowed?...

A little girl is found dead in the basement of her parents' house. A man stabs his own daughter and her friend to death. A little boy has been missing for over a year; his Dad went for a long drive in the dead of night. The parents were reported to the child welfare authorities and nothing was done. A Baltimore prosecutor ends up with a multitude of shallow stab wounds only to die by drowning in a Pennsylvania creek. All of the above are old or unsolved cases. Via email, Blog commentary or other means, I've new information on...

Yesterday was a heart-sickening day on the Hill. Those who broke the law and are found guilty should be punished to the full extent of the law. However, the ugly part of this is how it will feed the public perception of "all those politician are just crooks." There are many men and women in the General Assembly to serve with integrity and honor. It makes me terribly sad that they will be tarred with the same brush. We pray for all involved. Below are links to the indictments, information on the Hobbs Act, links to various newspaper reports and...

This is an update of two earlier threads (to be linked below). I just spent 3 1/2 hours in line to pick up my tickets for the event. The response has completely overwhelmed every one. They have just changed the location from the 6,000 seat event center to the outside parking lot and are now planning for 10,000 (Hobbs city population is about 30,000+). Rumor has it they may change it yet again. They are looking at running shuttle buses from the old airbase runway to the event center. Never has a any president, let alone a sitting one, visited...
