To all, GOD BLESS US ALL!! Just a message to think about! Life unravels at it's time. No one can stop time fully, whether they believe in GOD or not. We are all given different talents, different facilities, and different thoughts. Yet , not very different, because we can always find a "group" of people or at least another person on this earth that believe in what we believe. There is someone for everyone. So, we are all not completely that different. There are many systems in this world created by humans to validate what they believe and they think...

To all, GOD BLESS US ALL!! Give GOD praises for all things! Let us comfort evil with good. Changing people who are lost with love and righteousness. Showing in our walk the option of love and joy in CHRIST. Be all things to all men Please pray the LORD's PRAYER (which is the prayer we are taught to pray!! To clarify please take out your bibles that you read and please the prayer that JESUS told us to pray and read MATTHEW 6:6-13): 6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door,...

To all, GOD BLESS US ALL!! Praise HIS holy name through all things!! In faith, may we work our hardest to keep away from sin. HE is just. HE knows all we've learned, received, understand, and deal with; as HE knows we are born into a world of sin. HIS mercy endures forever!! Praise HIS holy name. The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy!! Alleluia!! Please pray the LORD's PRAYER and please read:

PRAISE GOD in and THROUGH ALL THINGS! May all of us that believe that are in different denominations know that it's time for us to come together and love one another. As we are all brothers and sisters. This is what GOD wants for us. Always love the LORD with all our hearts and love our neighbor. Once we do this, then loving non-believers and our " enemies", will be a walk in the park!! Please pray the LORD's PRAYER and please read:

Featured Term (selected at random):TRANSCENDENCE Supassing excellence, which may be either relative or absolute. It is relative when the excellence surpasses some objects below it, as human nature transcends the irrational creation. It is absolute when the excellence surpasses in being and activity all other beings. Only God is absolutely transcendent; in being because he alone is infinite and perfect Being who cannot change; in activity because he alone has existence of himself as uncreated First Cause on whom all creatures depend for their least operation. In honor of Reformation Day, here are some complaints I’m nailing on the Wittenberg door. Long before there was an Occupy Wall Street, Martin Luther staged the most important protest in history. He was upset because Roman Catholic officials were promising people forgiveness or early escape from purgatory in exchange for money. So on October 31, 1517, Luther nailed a long list of complaints on the door of a church in Wittenberg, Germany. 1. Let’s reform our theology. The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. He is God and He is holy. He is not an “it.”...

ADVANCE YOUR WORSHIP TO ADVANCE IN ME( JESUS) ! I desire to see an advance in your worship for Me to advance you in My spirit , for as My Word I inhabit the praises of My people but it is in your true worship of Me that I move and dwell and you have "My being" as Samuel and David , for they knew Me "AS ONE" and it is in this oneness I desire for you to inhabit , Yeah ~ " Dwell " . So be as little children and as My spirit moves you " DO...

Now when the apostles at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent to them Peter and John, who came down and prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit; for it had not yet fallen on any of them, but they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then they laid their hands on them and they received the Holy Spirit. This passage raises the question of whether the Pentecostal understanding of the baptism in the Holy Spirit has a good basis here. What I mean by the Pentecostal...

My countenance is upon you now as never before for it is through your obedience I bring you to higher levels in Me as Enoch(Gen 5:24) for offerings change but your obedience must always be consistant (1Samuel 15:22) for just as Moses struck the rock (Numbers 20:11-12) breaking covenant with My spoken word "truly" it is these very things that deny you all I have for you as Canaan , a land prepared ahead of you (Jeremiah 29:11) with blessings filled with the promise of the New wine(covenant) of promise and flowing with the milk and honey (Deut 6:3) of...

The Work of the Holy Spirit in the Church and in the World by Fr. John A. Hardon, S.J.The subject of this article on “The Work of the Holy Spirit in the Church and in the World” is an ocean. We might even say that all of Christianity is summarized in this one statement. As we know, Pope John Paul II has recommended that 1998, the second of three years set aside in preparation for the great Jubilee of Christ’s birth, should be dedicated in a special way to the Holy Spirit and His sanctifying presence within the com munity of...

For the Feast of PentecostThe novena in honor of the Holy Ghost is the oldest of all novenas since it was first made at the direction of Our Lord Himself when He sent His Apostles back to Jerusalem to await the coming of the Holy Ghost on the first Pentecost. Addressed to the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity, it is a powerful plea for the light and strength and love so sorely needed by every Catholic today. To encourage devotion to the Holy Spirit, the Church has granted the following indulgences: "The faithful who devoutly assist at the...

On February 28, 2010, in Charismatic Gifts, False teaching, Real Truth, by admin My good friend, Charles Carrin, as a Baptist pastor for more than twenty-five years, was much like Apollos before Priscilla and Aquila “took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately” (Ac. 18:24-26). Like Apollos, he was “an eloquent man…and he was mighty in the Scriptures,” he “had been instructed in the way of the Lord” in Baptist schools, was “fervent in spirit,” and “was speaking and teaching accurately the things concerning Jesus,” meaning the Gospel of Christ’s sacrifice. However, Charles, like Apollos...

Featured Term (selected at random):FILIOQUE A term meaning "and from the Son," which over the centuries became the center of controversy between the Eastern Churches separated from Rome and the Catholic Church. The Eastern Christians first objected to the insertion of this phrase in the Nicene Creed, which now states that the Holy Spirit "proceeds from the Father and the Son." The last three words had not been in the original creed but were added later, with the approval of Rome. After the ninth century the Eastern leaders challenged not only the addition but the doctrine itself, whether the Holy...

The previous two articles focused on Biblical associations with the topic of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. In the first article, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit was demonstrated to be non-miraculous representation of the Christian’s obedience to God’s will and not a literal indwelling. In the second, it was demonstrated a literal indwelling is not what the term “gift of the Holy Spirit” means. Rather the term “gift” in conjunction with the Holy Spirit focuses on the miraculous imparted by the laying on of the hands of the apostles which is in opposition to a non-miraculous indwelling. This...

The first lesson in this series examined whether or not the indwelling of the Holy Spirit is literal or representational. It was the conclusion of the article the Holy Spirit does not literally indwell anyone, but the term refers to a Christian putting on a Christ like life which matches the Bible given by the Spirit. It is this which allows the individual to indwell all of the Godhead and the Word and vice versa. However, Christians who take the view the indwelling of the Holy Spirit as a literal one also often consider the term “gift of the Holy...

Indwelling of the Holy Spirit Part 1Holy Spirit: Literal or Representational Indwelling? There are varying understandings of what is meant by the term “indwelling of the Holy Spirit”. This series of articles aims at examining the assertions of men and applications of scripture to determine the meaning of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit literal or representational? Is the gift of the Holy Spirit the beginning of His indwelling? What does it mean to be filled with the Holy Spirit? What does it mean to be sealed with the Holy Spirit? What exactly does...

This little jingle is still true: Convince a man against his will, He’ll be of the same opinion stiff. Have you ever tried to change someone’s opinion about religion? You’ll soon find that prejudice, narrow mindedness, and sheer stubbornness will surface. And it doesn’t matter whether you are Catholic, Protestant, or Jewish! Consider a young eighteen-year-old boy who accepted Christ as his Saviour. All of his guilt is gone; peace comes to his heart. He can hardly wait to share the Good News. When he arrives home, he tells his parents that they also can become Christians by repenting of...

It’s frightening to walk alone into unprotected darkness. How much better to be with someone who has the ability to defend you from the hazards of the unknown path; somebody who promises he will be with you no matter what. For three years, the disciples could depend on Jesus for everything. He would still the storm on Galilee, multiply food, and answer His critics with logic and wit. It was easy to be Christ’s disciples standing next to Him; they could weather many blows with the strong Son of God at their side. But now they would be alone. Jesus...

I’m a die-hard believer in unction. Unction is an old fashioned word which describes an effusion of power from the Holy Spirit as one preaches. It is the one thing preachers need above everything else. It is the accompanying power of the Spirit. This is what Charles Spurgeon dubbed “the sacred annointing.” It is power from on high. In his book on the preaching of Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones, The Sacred Annointing, Tony Sargent describes unction well. He writes: [Unction] is the afflatus of the Spirit resting on the speaker. It is the preacher gliding on eagles’ wings, soaring high, swooping...

Sins Against the Holy Spirit to Come Holy GhostThe following words of Our Lord show how grievous are sins against the Holy Ghost: "Every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven men, but the blasphemy of the Spirit shall not be forgiven."The sins against the Holy Ghost are commonly said to be six in number: despair, presumption, impenitence, obstinacy, resisting truth, and envy of another's spiritual welfare. Some of these are less difficult of pardon than others. Final impenitence is absolutely unpardonable. Those, too, who from deliberate malice refuse to recognize the work of God, as the Pharisees did when they saw...

Pentecost marks a time when Mary's presence is of singular importance, says a specialist in Marian studies. In this interview with ZENIT, Discalced Carmelite Father Jesús Castellano Cervera, who is also a consultor for the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, elaborated on the Blessed Virgin's presence at the arrival of the Holy Spirit. Q: The time we are now living is the conclusion of Eastertide and of the month of May. Is it of special Marian relevance? Father Castellano Cervera: I think the time extending from the Ascension to Pentecost is a particularly Marian time. The fact emphasized...

COME HOLY SPIRITby Joseph of Jesus and Mary Acts 1:8 But you shall receive the power of the Holy Ghost coming upon you, and you shall be witnesses unto me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and even to the uttermost part of the earth. The Father with His Omnipotent Power, The Son with mighty Word and Wisdom and the Holy Spirit with His Love was present in the origin of...

Many people openly profess that they do not believe in God. Many profess this disbelief because their way of living is in direct parallel of the opposite of what God approves of, and as such, they actively seek to build a case to justify their non-belief. After all, the habits of said people drive them to seek information that goes against God as opposed to wanting to seek information that either supports God, or in a fair and balanced approach, compares and contrasts (weighs in fairness) both arguments. Other people have genuine concerns that to them legitimizes their not believing...

The scenes are familiar. A young man approaches the pulpit and breaks down while recounting how he was saved from disaster by a prompting. He can't make it to "Amen" before grabbing a tissue. A woman shares an experience in Sunday School about a relative who was given a blessing and healed from serious illness in the blink of an eye. A friend retells a dream that revealed which academic major, career and spouse he should choose. All know they felt the Spirit -- "without a shadow of a doubt." But less noticed is the girl in the back of...

“I place these five grand marks of the Spirit’s presence before my readers, and confidently claim attention to them. I believe they will bear inspection. I am not afraid of their being searched, criticized, and cross-examined. 1) Repentance toward God. 2) Faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. 3) Holiness of heart and life. 4) Habits of real private prayer. 5) Love and reverence toward God’s Word. “These are the real proofs of the indwelling of the Holy Ghost in a man’s soul. Where He is, these marks will be seen. Where He is not, these marks will be lacking.”

Featured Term (selected at random):GIFT OF KNOWLEDGE One of the seven infused gifts. By the illuminating action of the Holy Spirit it perfects the virtue of faith. It gives a person the ability to judge everything from a supernatural viewpoint. The object of this gift is the whole spectrum of created things insofar as they lead one to God. Through infused knowledge the faithful can see the providential purpose of whatever enters their lives, and they are able to put creatures to the right use according to God's will for themselves and for others. Sometimes called "the science of the...

Featured Term (selected at random): PARACLETE A title of the Holy Spirit. Christ was and remains the first advocate. When he was to leave earth in visible form, he promised "another Paraclete" so that his followers would not be orphans. That Paraclete came on Pentecost. He is the advocate of the Mystical Body, pleading God's cause for the human family, keeping the Church from error, sanctifying souls through the preaching of God's word and through the sacraments. The Holy Spirit, whose function is to teach, bear witness, and "to convince the world of sin," is the love of God...

Benedict XVI's Homily for Solemnity of Pentecost "The Holy Spirit Overcomes Fear" VATICAN CITY, MAY 31, 2009 (Zenit.org).- Here is a translation of Benedict XVI's homily that he gave today in St. Peter's Basilica during Mass for the Solemnity of Pentecost. * * * Dear Brothers and Sisters! Every time that we celebrate the Eucharist we experience in faith the mystery that is accomplished on the altar, that is, we participate in the supreme act of love that Christ realized with his death and resurrection. The one center of the liturgy and of Christian life -- the paschal mystery --...

If we live in the Spirit, let us also follow the Spirit” (Gal 5:25) Pentecost is one of the major dates in the church’s calendar, along with Christmas and Easter. Our word Pentecost derives from the Greek word for 50. The feast occurs 50 days after Easter. Pentecost was (and is) a Jewish festival celebrated in late spring, 50 days after Passover. Its biblical name is Weeks (Shebuot in Hebrew), because it takes place seven weeks after Pentecost. In Jesus’ time the Jewish feast of Weeks was associated with the gift of the Law to Moses on Mount Sinai. In...
