• Howard Dean speaks to Vanderbilt class (Sarah Palin, Tea Party racists)

The Tea Party is not the significant force that Tea Partiers think it is, Democratic politician Howard Dean told a class of Vanderbilt students yesterday. The former governor of Vermont and Democratic national committee chairman called into “Political Campaigns and the Electoral Process” taught by Professor of Political Science John Geer and Adjunct Political Science Professor Roy Neel to discuss the effects of the Tea Party on the 2012 presidential election. “I think in addition to a bad economy, the Tea Party arose out of a discomfort with the demographic shift going on in this country,” Dean said. An audio clip from about two months ago has been uncovered by The Blaze which clearly demonstrates that, even with all of his opining and public speaking skills, there is a reason that Howard Dean’s most notable quote will always remain a timelessly incoherent scream. Despite being a one-word definition of ignorance, Dean doesn’t mind discussing how to control the media in an effort to educate what he considers to be the ignorant masses – Americans. What would he do about the media? “I would bring back the Fairness Doctrine so you couldn’t have a spectacle of a Fox Flooze, which...

Howard Dean begins by saying how important the First Amendment is and saying that it has served America well all of these years. And then, he completely negates that statement by saying, “But I would bring back the Fairness Doctrine so you couldn’t have a spectacle of a Fox flooze which makes stuff up and is a propaganda outlet, you would actually have to have some sanctioned human beings talk to the other side. And MSNBC would have to do the same- they would have to have conservatives on there too…”

President Barack Obama sounded humble, almost meek, Wednesday at his news conference. “No one party will be able to dictate where we go from here,” he said. “We must find common ground.” Howard Dean took a somewhat different tone on the phone with me the same day. “If Republicans think we’re going to slow the growth of Medicare and Medicaid and give tax cuts to those making a million dollars a year, we will wrap that around their necks and beat the hell out of them in 2012.” Finding common ground with Republicans versus strangling and beating the hell out...

Is it too much to ask that before the Democratic Party sells America out to the European Socialist movement, they at least enlighten the average American citizen as to their actions? What are we talking about? Over the past few years, the highest ranking officials from the Democrat party have been working strategically to advance something called a “Global New Deal” based on Progressive-Democratic-Socialism. The chief organizing entity for launching this new progressive socialist utopia is a group called the PES, or Party of European Socialists. Their organization is made up of the most powerful socialist blocs in Europe, including...

When Bob Schieffer invited Liz Cheney and Howard Dean on "Face the Nation" to discuss a number of issues related to the upcoming midterm elections, he must have had a feeling sparks were going to fly. But he certainly couldn't have known bringing up the Administration's claim the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is funneling foreign money into Republican campaigns would lead to Cheney exposing the former Vermont governor in a lie about who helped bankroll his 2004 run for the White House (video follows with transcript and commentary):

By now many conservatives have heard about the widespread voter fraud committed by Obama and his supporters in the 2008 Democratic primary election allowing him to claim the party’s nomination over popular vote winner Hillary Clinton. As exposed in the movie We Will Not Be Silenced, Obama and close political ally ACORN “created an army to steal caucus packets, falsify documents, change results, allow unregistered people to vote, scare and intimidate Hillary supporters”. One participant in the massive voter fraud who has not received nearly the credit he deserves for the electoral theft is Howard Dean. While the FEC is...

It's been widely reported that White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel will soon leave to run for mayor of Chicago. The White House is said to be unhappy with the timing of Mayor Daley's announcement that he will not seek reelection, but they should be thrilled. Emanuel's reputation as an iron-fisted dictator has probably, on balance, been helpful to President Obama's agenda, but the progressive left, Obama's natural supporters, have been unhappy with Emanuel's willingness to cut unsavory deals with Republicans who will never support the president. The biggest problem facing Democrats in the 2010 midterms is that their...

Nevertheless, his Party knows that he’s disgraced that is why he was removed from the Chairmanship of the Democrat National Committee upon president Barry Hussein Soetoro election. Keith Olbermann is ready to go to jail over it. Markos Moulitsas is prepared to see the health-care bill die over it. Howard Dean is assaulting the White House over it. It’s the individual mandate, the source of rare cross-ideological agreement in the health-care debate. The provision to force everyone to buy health insurance long labored in obscurity, overshadowed by the more glamorous and controversial public option. No more. The death of the public option left the individual mandate exposed. Disappointed liberals now confront in the cold light of day a provision that will, by force of law, make people...

Former Democratic National Committee chairman and medical doctor Howard Dean believes that Democrats’ efforts to pass a Health Care Bill has deteriorated to such a point that desperate Democrats are willing to pass anything just for the sake of passing something. The dread just do something disease. And according to Dean Democrats don’t really care if what they pass is detrimental to the Country. (see 4:48min video) Please allow me to translate one point of Dean’s statement to Good Morning America’s George Stephanopoulos:

For those of you who have never seen the picture of Howard Dean holding Alaska's very own left leaning moose, "Brian the Moose", here is a nice photo of Dr. Public-Option-Only holding a toy representation of "Brian the Moose". And for those of you who don't know who "Brian the Moose" is, he is the Alaska Democratic Party fringe's mascot that can be seen in the most unusual places.....

In a stunning reversal of fortune for President Barack Obama, top progressives are attacking the health-reform plan moving through the Senate as “hollow,” “unsupportable” and a sellout to corporate interests. Republicans, after plotting for months to sink the signature legislation of Obama’s first year, suddenly think that Democrats might wind up doing it for them. Most dangerously for White House chances of assembling 60 Senate votes, former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean launched a third day of attacks on the emerging bill, arguing in a Washington Post op-ed that it meets none of his benchmarks for “real reform.” “[A]s it stands,...

The battle between former Democratic Party Chief Howard Dean got ugly today, as Dean said he would support Obama for re-election but not vigorously. The Political equivalent of a declaration of war. He was basically saying that he would sit on his hands in 2012 and has one of the leaders of the Progressive movement, that statement is a hint for his supporters to do the same. Dean's battle with the Obama administration became public a few days ago when Dean, who was ousted from his party chairmanship by Obama after the successful 2008 campaign, suggested that so much as...
  • (Howard Dean) Health-care bill wouldn't bring real reform

If I were a senator, I would not vote for the current health-care bill. Any measure that expands private insurers' monopoly over health care and transfers millions of taxpayer dollars to private corporations is not real health-care reform. Real reform would insert competition into insurance markets, force insurers to cut unnecessary administrative expenses and spend health-care dollars caring for people. Real reform would significantly lower costs, improve the delivery of health care and give all Americans a meaningful choice of coverage. The current Senate bill accomplishes none of these.

Pour some more butter on the popcorn . . . Yesterday, Obama press secretary Robert Gibbs took shots at Howard Dean and his opposition to ObamaCare, suggesting the good doctor didn't know what he was talking about. It was payback time this morning, as Dean announced that he would support Pres. Obama's re-election bid "not vigorously." View video here.

President Obama is about to accomplish what many previous Democratic presidents have tried to do, and failed. At least that's what the White House spin would be, and it will largely be echoed throughout the Democratic Party. No, they will say, the health care reform bill won't have a public option, but it will extend coverage to millions of people and provide a framework to build on for the future. You would expect the liberals who put him in office to be thrilled. They're not. Here are a couple of highlights from the liberal blogosphere: Taylor Marsh (Huffington Post) "Pres....

Here is video of Democratic Sen. Mary Landrieu and former DNC Chairman Howard Dean getting into a heated argument on MSNBC's "Hardball." (Video)Landrieu defended Joe Lieberman's concerns over the "health care reform," she said that Lieberman "just has a little different view than many in the party, but actually I understand his view..there are governors like Gov. Dean who wants to eliminate the insurance companies in America." Howard Dean replied "that's obviously not true" and asked Landrieu "Mary I'd like to know why you deny my people the choice to sign up for an alternative, you are forcing us into...
