Today the Romney campaign is trumpeting the latest CNN/ORC poll which shows President Obama with a three-point lead over Mitt Romney among likely voters, 50%-47%. The Romney campaign likes this result, apparently, because it represents a significant improvement over the last CNN/ORC poll, which came out three weeks ago. In that survey, CNN/ORC found a six-point Obama lead.I wrote about the earlier poll here, pointing out that it obviously over-sampled Democrats. A reader calculated that, given other data in the survey, the six-point difference was consistent with a breakdown of D-38%, R-26% and I-36%. I wrote that the most significant...
  • John Elway Endorses Romney

Hall of Fame quarterback John Elway endorsed Mitt Romney ahead of Wednesday's presidential debate in Colorado. “Governor Romney is a proven leader with the experience and background to turn around our struggling economy,” Elway said in a statement. “In these tough economic times, we need a president who understands how to get America working again – by standing on the side of taxpayers and small-business owners who do the real job creating. I am endorsing Governor Romney and Congressman Ryan for President and Vice President because I know having the courage to make decisions and tackle challenges is what leads...

Stunning Historical Discovery By Peter Kirsanow October 1, 2012 4:15 P.M. Cambridge, Mass.--- Celebrated historian Bertram Oxley has uncovered a memorandum from former Japanese Emperor Hirohito to Admiral Yamamoto dated December 6, 1941, showing that the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor was motivated by an offensive film made by Charlie Chaplin ridiculing Japanese cuisine. “Contrary to historical accounts over the last seventy years,” Professor Oxley said in an interview today with the BBC, “What appeared to be a meticulously planned surprise attack was actually a spontaneous demonstration by moderate sushi connoisseurs in the Imperial Navy in response to a hateful...
  • Pelosi a Zombie Leader in New Attack Ad

    10/01/2012 12:38:55 PM PDT · by Sub-Driver · 8 replies
Pelosi a Zombie Leader in New Attack Ad Political attack ads mostly follow the same formula: A foreboding voice, a series of damning facts and figures, and a call for action. So what makes an ad stand out? Nancy Pelosi’s challenger John Dennis uses a different tact – zombies. There’s also a sacrificial lamb and an over-the-top impersonation of Pelosi. The creation of Chris Burgard, who also cut ads for Herman Cain during his failed bid for the Republican presidential nomination, the new ad casts the California congressswoman as a cult leader of the living-dead as they prepare to sacrifice...

September 30, 2012 Poll finds most think Obama will win first debate By Stephen Dinan and Ben Wolfgang DENVER — Mitt Romney has one thing going for him headed into this week’s first presidential debate with President Obama: Voters don’t expect him to do very well. The newest Washington Times/Zogby Poll, released Sunday, found twice as many voters think Mr. Obama will win Wednesday’s kickoff affair as think Mr. Romney will win it — and among self-identified independents, it’s even more pronounced.

The Israeli Embassy in the U.S. had a field day after the Iranian state-run Fars News Agency used a made up report by the satirical news site The Onion, and passed it off as what they presumed to be real. The fake report stated that a new Gallup poll showed that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was overwhelming preferred over President Obama by rural white Americans. The Onion headline, “Gallup Poll: Rural Whites Prefer Ahmadinejad to Obama”, was immediately picked up by Fars and hours later the news agency ran an identical story. The Israeli Embassy found this all too amusing,...

My weekend column muses on the glorious future foreseen by Obama’s speech to the General Assembly. But I’ve also been struck by the following passage on the late Chris Stevens, mysteriously asphyxiated by a spontaneous class-action movie review, as every government official from the Commander-in-Chief to his UN Ambassador has so persuasively argued. At Turtle Bay, the President paid tribute to his murdered diplomat thus: Chris went to Benghazi in the early days of the Libyan revolution, arriving on a cargo ship. As America’s representative, he helped the Libyan people as they coped with violent conflict, cared for the wounded,...

Asked top diplomat to call NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman MONTREAL - They've fooled Sarah Palin, Donald Trump and Britney Spears, but Montreal radio pranksters Justiciers Masques (Masked Avengers) might have snared their biggest fish yet — UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon. Posing as Prime Minister Stephen Harper, the comedic duo sidestepped security protocols in less than an hour and said they actually pulled Ban out of a meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama. The Avengers began their prank simply by calling the UN's switchboard number in New York City, earlier this week. The pranksters took turns playing Harper and begged Ban...

  • Ex-Military Mock Obama For Spiking Football on Bin Laden With Toon

Today, Special Operations Speaks, a PAC formed by ex-Special Ops officers from four branches of the military, released a cartoon mocking President Obama for spiking the football on the Osama Bin Laden kill. The cartoon depicts Obama as a schoolchild, president of the student council; he has nothing but scorn for a group of students training for military service. Then he spots a girl being shot at by a group of thugs. He promptly orders the other students to do something about it, and after they do, he takes full credit – and actively spikes a football.

Iranian press fooled by The Onion By Julian Pecquet - 09/28/12 12:17 PM ET Iran's semi-official FARS news agency has been fooled by an Onion story that found rural white voters prefer Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to President Obama. The agency on Friday republished, without attribution, a bogus Gallup poll from the satirical U.S. newspaper showing Obama badly trailing Ahmadinejad among rural white voters. According to the story, “77 percent of rural Caucasian voters ... would much rather go to a baseball game or have a drink with Ahmadinejad than spend time with Obama.” The story says rural whites prefer...

The conservative commentator makes the case in her new book, "Mugged" that liberals use race mongering for political advantage. Host Whoopi Goldberg confronted the author over the topic of race, cursing her out and accusing her of not knowing what she was talking about. Coulter voraciously defended her book, claiming its more about white liberals, than African Americans.

When gunmen struck the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, on Sept. 11 of this year, the response from American officials was almost simultaneous: They immediately set about collecting information about the attackers, some of whom were quickly identified as foreigners, and tracing links from them to known extremist groups, a knowledgeable source has told Yahoo News. The source's description came as fresh news accounts cast doubt on the White House's insistence that it has been forthright all along about what it knew about the attack. (I tweeted on Sept. 21 that this same source informed Yahoo News that the administration...

Former first brother Roger Clinton is in hot water – again! The 56-year-old brother of Bill Clinton is being accused in a shocking lawsuit of paying women to fight while he watched! In the bizarre case, The Enquirer is exclusively reporting that a woman claims Clinton didn’t lift a finger to help her while another gal smacked her with a frying pan – because he likes to see girls beat each other up! On Tuesday, Fox & Friends host Steve Doocy interviewed author and columnist Ann Coulter about her new book, Mugged, which takes a look at the racial politics of the left. He kicked things off by playing a clip of MSNBC’s Chris Matthews defending his previous comments about the GOP essentially “stoking racism” for political gain to HBO’s Bill Maher last Friday. Coulter said that the Democratic party has tried to take credit for things like, say, signing the Civil Rights Act, although “it was actually Eisenhower who got the ball rolling.” She alter added that she found it curious that...
