  • Once the impeachment inquiry hearings have concluded, when do the real impeachment hearings begin?

Just a question. After Schiffty has his little chit-chat with some pals, when do the RATS vote on an impeachment hearing resolution? Even Schiffty can't have a meeting and then charge someone with a crime. There are official channels that have to be dealt with in order for charges to be filed. Pelosi hasn't even started yet.

RUSH: Devin Nunes had a good point. Devin Nunes was on Fox last night. He was on with Hannity. Hannity played him a sound bite of me from yesterday’s program. This is what I said a few times on the program yesterday. RUSH ARCHIVE: I really think that the model for what’s gonna happen this week is the Kavanaugh hearings. It was a never-ending parade for about a week and a half. As every person they brought forth to try to destroy Kavanaugh failed, there was another one waiting in the wings. And I will guarantee you that it is...
  • Meet the Press Panel Hopes Dems Can ‘Dramatize’ Impeachment Hearings With Crying Witnesses

Following Meet the Press moderator Chuck Todd grilling Republican Senator Rand Paul and tossing softballs to Democratic Congressman Jim Himes on Sunday, regarding impeachment, the political panel admitted that House Democrats had an uphill battle in upcoming public hearings. The worried journalists urged liberal lawmakers to “dramatize” those hearings as much as possible and hoped some of the witnesses would cry or become “emotional.” “I think in those two segments, with Rand Paul and Jim Himes, we had a good snapshot of how difficult this is going to be for the – for the Democrats to convince the country that...

House Democrats’ impeachment equation of maximum control and minimum risk is reversing. Now that Democrats have begun what they had only been pretending - real impeachment - their control will decrease, and their risk will increase. **SNIP** Now that Democrats have decided to pursue impeachment, things will change quickly. Voting on articles of impeachment will magnify their risks further. Will these be stringent enough for the extremists? Will they be too stringent for the moderates? In either case, their vulnerables again will have to vote and forever be on record that they believe the president should be removed. From there...

The so-called impeachment hearings are an absolute farce. Adam Schiff- who is best pals with Ed Buck and Terry Bean (drug dealers and pedophiles) - has controlled the information flow carefully, leaking out snippets of testimony with the same slick method he employed when opening an official hearing with his deceitful and mendacious rendition of the Trump-Zelensky phone call. Alan Dershowitz has likened this process to the KGB under Stalin: “Whether you’re a Democrat or a Republican, whether you’re from New York or the middle of the country, you should be frightened by efforts to try to create crimes out...

Democratic Congressman Adam Schiff, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, rebuked House Republicans' calls for former Vice President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, to testify in the public impeachment inquiry starting next week and confirmed that the proceedings will not probe "sham" Biden claims. Current ranking member Republican Congressman Devin Nunes, in a letter to Schiff on Saturday, asked for Biden, the anonymous whistleblower and several others to testify as part of the impeachment probe, which will move from closed-door depositions to public hearings next week. In response, Schiff confirmed that Biden will not be testifying but agreed to review...

After Democratic speaker Nancy Pelosi launched a formal impeachment inquiry into President Trump, celebrities took to Twitter. (CNN) House Democrats are signaling they are now on a fast-track in their impeachment proceedings, avoiding court battles that could delay their inquiry and limiting the number of witnesses at public hearings -- all signs that President Donald Trump could be impeached as soon as next month. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has not shared her thinking on the final timeline with her colleagues, and Democratic sources say the timing is still fluid and could continue to evolve. But in a series of moves this week, Democrats have shown they are rapidly moving to complete the proceedings by Christmas, something that...

WASHINGTON—A consulting firm hired by Burisma Group mentioned that former U.S. Vice President Joe Biden’s son served on the Ukrainian gas company’s board so the firm could leverage a meeting with the State Department, according to documents and a former U.S. official. The documents—email exchanges between State Department staff members made public this week—show that the consulting firm, Washington-based Blue Star Strategies, used Hunter Biden’s name in a request for a State Department meeting and then mentioned him again during the meeting as part of an effort to improve Burisma’s image in Washington. Mr. Biden was appointed to the Burisma...

Full Title: Report: Dem Lawmaker Who Wrote ‘Unfair Impeachment Rules’ Used $200K Taxpayer Dollars to Settle Sexual Harassment Case. Mr. Hastings has been accused of sexual harassment, used tax dollars to settle, broke House rules by hiring his girlfriend as a staffer and was once impeached for accepting a $150K bribe….and he’s in charge of writing “rules.” Well, in not-so-surprising news, the Democrat lawmaker who created the “unfair impeachment” rules is a rule breaker himself – and a criminal. The House Rules Committee vice-chair is Alcee Hastings from Florida, and he has a nasty habit of regularly breaking the rules....

Donald Trump keeps it simple, and likely too simple given Ukraine’s opaque and corrupt politics, when he says Joe Biden arranged the firing of a Ukrainian prosecutor looking into a company that employed his son. You can find quotes on both sides from Ukrainians, but all have axes to grind. And why was Ukraine’s then-President Petro Poroshenko so resistant to the prosecutor’s firing that Mr. Biden had to threaten to hold back $1 billion in aid? Never explained. Some reports say the prosecutor was actually using the threat of investigating Burisma as a lever to extort something of value from...

The nation focused on the House this week, where Democrats voted Thursday to formalize an impeachment inquiry into President Trump. Less noticed, but equally important, was the prebuttal on the Senate floor. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell delivered Wednesday a speech devoted to the glaring deficiencies in the House impeachment proceedings. The Kentuckian excoriated it for its lack of fairness and transparency, and listed the affronts to due process: secret hearings, the refusal to let Republicans call witnesses or obtain answers, the exclusion of Mr. Trump’s legal counsel from the proceedings. And he noted that Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s resolution would include...

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Friday it's possible that controversies beyond Ukraine could be part of the impeachment case against President Trump. House Democrats have recently sought to narrow their impeachment inquiry to the allegations stemming from an intelligence community whistleblower complaint that said Trump tried to pressure Ukraine to initiate politically charged investigations in return for the release of congressionally approved security aid. Trump's dealings with Ukraine have united nearly all House Democrats around their impeachment probe, though many had previously pushed for impeachment over the president's efforts to undermine former special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russia's election...

Washington (CNN) — House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff said Thursday that transcripts from the impeachment inquiry's closed-door interviews could start being publicly released as early as next week. Schiff made the revelation when he told CNN's Chris Cuomo on "Cuomo Prime Time" that accusations from Republicans that the minority party isn't getting enough time to ask questions in the closed-door depositions are false. "Those arguments you've heard are almost completely false, with only one exception," Schiff said. "And when you see the transcripts, and we expect to begin releasing them as early as next week, you'll see that the Republicans...

Two Democratic congressmen broke with their party Thursday to vote against the House resolution formalizing the rules and procedure for the impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump, a move that ushers in a new and public phase of the investigation. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., took the unusual step of presiding over the House during the vote. The resolution passed largely along party lines, 232-196. Republican senators who were invited to lunch at the White House Thursday told reporters back on Capitol Hill that Trump pointed to the defections as proof of bipartisan opposition to the resolution. "He mentioned the...

The dims have voted to begin impeachment, i.e., nullify your voice, based on LTC Vindman’s “concerns” about how something “appeared”. Concerns and appearances are NOT fact. The transcript is fact and it’s public and you can read it for yourself. No lawyer worth his salt would dare prosecute a case by saying he has “concerns” and that there are “appearances”. The Judge would immediately dismiss the case and bar that lawyer from his court. The dims are willing to convict President Trump and overturn an election because they cannot and will not abide by the election. The peaceful transfer of...

(CNN) — When the House votes Thursday on formal procedures governing its impeachment inquiry, the administration will no longer have a reason to argue that the impeachment inquiry is invalid without a full vote and that the proceedings are unfairly secretive and one-sided. This argument was already on shaky footing. The Constitution gives the House "sole power of impeachment," without specifying any particular investigative process requirement. And the first round of closed-door House depositions are open to Republican and Democratic members of the investigating committees, all of whom have the ability to question the witnesses. This week's vote should spike...

The lawmaker leading the impeachment inquiry into President Trump said Saturday that Democrats are "making rapid progress" in their investigation into the president's dealings with Ukraine. "We're trying to work expeditiously, but we're also trying to be methodical in our work," Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), chairman of the Intelligence Committee, told reporters in the Capitol. "I think we're making rapid progress - and that's our goal." Schiff's comments came after the Intelligence Committee had finished interviewing its latest witness in the quickly evolving impeachment investigation into Trump, which launched just over a month ago. Philip Reeker, acting assistant secretary of...

In an interview with CNN's Christiane Amanpour on Friday, former Secretary of State John Kerry commented on what he believes is serious evidence that has mounted against President Trump in the House impeachment inquiry. He went on to compare the situation to former President Nixon's impeachment. "The evidence is powerful, some of it more powerful already than what we saw in the impeachment of Richard Nixon," Kerry said in the CNN interview. "The evidence at this point in time certainly merits the inquiry that is taking place." The former secretary did not go as far as to say Trump should...
