On Tuesday the third undercover video of Planned Parenthood's despicable practices was released by the Center for Medical Progress, but as the blog Jammie Wearing Fools highlights, some people may not see it if PP gets its way: "The material should not be aired," states a press release sent out to [North and South Dakota] stations. This absurdly transparent attempt at damage control is no surprise. The organization has been engaging in mafia-like strong-arm tactics in their all-out attack-as-defense strategy, including congressional pressure, an Obama Department of Justice investigation. and the same from the California Attorney General's office. It’s a new notion to make abortion “funny”: draw a graphic novel about abortion that doesn’t actually show an abortion. Because, well, the sight of baby remains is anything but. Hailed as the “first graphic novel about abortion,” Not Funny Ha-Ha by artist Leah Hayes illustrates two women going through the “abortion process.” In it, Hayes attempts to show an “often funny,” “even humorous look at what a woman can go through during an abortion.” Already some in the media have recognized the “abortion story that needs to be heard.”Published by Fantagraphics, the graphic novel goes on sale August 8....

The issue of infanticide following an abortion is very real — and statistics from the United States and Canada show hundreds of babies are left to die after they are born alive following a failed abortion. The issue is not isolated to North America, as a pro-life legal group in Europe is standing up for these babies. On June 23, the Council of Europe will decide on the admissibility of the Petition Against Neonatal Infanticide signed by over 200,000 people, who asked it to reaffirm the right to life and to the care of babies surviving their abortion. For years, the abortion movement got angry when pro-lifers referred to them, quite accurately, as “pro-abortion.” Such outrage is still occasionally conjured up for the media, but for the most part, it has been abandoned in the wake of dozens of articles and blog posts by various abortion activists openly proclaiming that they think abortion is a good thing. How many times have you heard a pro-abortion person say that abortion should be rare? The oft-repeated words, notably spoken by pro-abortion president, Bill Clinton, are “safe, legal, and rare.” Pro-abortion advocates often say this because it makes them look like moderates. But they are also acknowledging that they, like most people, feel uncomfortable about abortion. They may say that abortion should only be a last resort for women, but the policies they support, namely, abortion without any restrictions, actually encourage abortions to be more common. One response to the “safe, legal, rare” mantra is to ask the pro-choicer why...

In a world in which someone who makes a politically incorrect utterance can be ruined, Peter Singer should be anathema, given his truly awful beliefs. Instead, he is looked to as a respected ethicist, for example, an article in the Wall Street Journal about his book urging that we give 1/3 of our incomes to charity. But the writer left out so much about what makes Singer’s utilitarian values so rotten–and often anti-human. Consider:• Singer supports personhood theory and infanticide: Singer claims that personhood should replace humanhood as the measure of highest value. In this view, individuals who are not self-aware...

Pro-lifers and those who have no particular stake in the abortion issue have passed a great number of laws going back to 2011 that require that abortion clinics upgrade their physical plant (and therefore the safety of women); that they use the FDA recommended protocol for chemical abortions; that abortionists have admitting...

The late Richard John Neuhaus famously wrote of bioethicists: Thousands of medical ethicists and bioethicists, as they are called, professionally guide the unthinkable on its passage through the debatable on the way to becoming the justifiable until it is finally established as unexceptionable. In my over 20 years engaged in trying to push back against the bioethics movement, I have found that to be an absolutely accurate formula.Take, as one example, dehydrating the cognitively devastated to death–a slow and potentially agonizing death. That was once unthinkable, it became debatable in the 1980s, and is now unexceptional.Allowing infanticide has now reached the “debatable on the way...

  • Horrifying: Ethicist says abortion after birth is moral

In an article for the Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, a well-known Canadian bioethicist – Udo Schuklenk – argues that aborting a child after birth is moral. Naturally, Schuklenk draws his own arbitrary lines as to when after-birth abortion is moral. He says that when a baby’s life contains “overwhelming pain and suffering,” it would be a moral choice. Schuklenk thinks that even future overwhelming pain and suffering should be considered, not just what a baby might currently be dealing with. And in a horrifying pro-choice statement, Schuklenk writes: The parents should be able to freely decide on what...

What do abortionists truly believe about the humanity of preborn children, and what do they admit about the violent late-term abortion procedures they perform when they do not realize the cameras are rolling? Live Action‘s “What is Human?” undercover investigation probes America’s late-term abortion industry, and reveals chilling admissions from abortionists on the humanity of children in the womb. The video, which has garnered millions of views on Facebook and over 60,000 views on YouTube, exposes the violent and inhumane nature of late-term abortion procedures that occur daily in abortion facilities. “What is Human?” details the willingness of abortionists to...

From abortion clinic owner Charlotte Taft: For many women nowadays, they’re angry that they had a choice. It’s too bizarre, but it’s like “If you weren’t here, I wouldn’t have to have made this choice.” And so, instead of feeling gratitude toward the physician and a sense of, you know, “You’ve helped me so much” a lot of the time that woman [is] in her own pain or anger, or whatever, and the doctor may not get a lot of that [gratitude] these days…When a woman doesn’t want an abortion, but simply accepts it as her fate, she is unlikely...

Udo Schuklenk, who was the chair of the one-sided Royal Society of Canada: End of Life Decision Making panel, is now proselytizing his philosophy (or Peter Singer's philosophy) promoting euthanasia for newborns and infanticide. Schuklenk uses quality-of-life arguments to support his eugenic philosophy to encourage the killing of newborns with disabilities. In an article published in The Journal of Thoracie and Cardiovascular Surgery, titled: Physicians can justifiably euthanize certain severely impaired neonates, Schuklenk argues that some lives are not worth living and that parents should have the right to decide to end the lives of newborns with disabilities. Schuklenk states: A quality-of-life ethic requires us to...
  • Abortionist: Late-Term Abortion is a “Good Parenting Act” to “Reduce Suffering”

An abortionist who travels to a clinic in Albuquerque, New Mexico has called killing a pre-born child in the womb a “good parenting act” in an effort to explain why she performs abortions weeks after most states restrict the procedure. Abortionist Susan Robinson tells GritTV’s Laura Flanders that she lives in California but travels to Albuquerque, New Mexico where she is one of only a few abortion doctors willing to kill babies in the later stages of pregnancy. In the interview, which focuses on her role in the abortion documentary film After Tiller, Flanders asks abortionist Robinson what types of...

How A Baby Boom of Hispanic, Asian and Black Children Is Going To Reshape The Country And Make Whites A Minority By 2050 White birth rates are falling while immigrants and other minorities are having more children. The population surge comes from immigrants having children in the US - not directly from immigration. Minorities are also moving to the suburbs at faster rates, ensuring they are getting more diverse. The population of mixed race Americans will grow dramatically in the next 50 years - nearly tripling By MICHAEL ZENNIE 17 November A new baby boom of Hispanic, Asian and black...
  • The Climate-Change Solution No One Will Talk About

The equation seems fairly simple: The more the world's population rises, the greater the strain on dwindling resources and the greater the impact on the environment. The solution? Well, that's a little trickier to talk about. Public-health discussions will regularly include mentions of voluntary family planning as a way to reduce unwanted pregnancies and births. But, said Jason Bremner of the Population Reference Bureau, those policies can also pay dividends for the environment. "And yet the climate-change benefits of family planning have been largely absent from any climate-change or family-planning policy discussions," he said. A 2010 study published in the...
  • Why U.S. green groups are talking about abortion this election

Green billionaire Tom Steyer vowed to make the November congressional elections about climate change. Now he's talking about abortion and the economy to get his candidates across the finish line.... The reason is simple: climate change isn't a top concern for most voters. Only 3 percent think it should be the country's top priority, according to Reuters/Ipsos polling.
