An poster showing Barack Obama as the Joker has stirred up his supporters. The striking poster from an unknown source has been pasted up in subways and other public spaces across the US. Writing in the newspaper LA Weekly, politics reporter Steven Mikulan said: “It has a bit of everything to appeal to the drunk tank of California conservatism.” “The only thing missing is a noose.” I don’t see the race angle – as much as the race-baiters would like to use it. The Guardian tries it’s best to invoke race: The Joker poster is mean-spirited, sure, as plenty of...

CLERMONT, Fla. -- More posters are popping up around Clermont showing President Barack Obama painted to look like the Joker. Police say they now know who put up some of them and the State Attorney's Office is investigating whether he actually did anything illegal. The city of Clermont says it does have to use resources to come out and scrape the signs off, but as soon as they do they pop up on another street corner. "You got all these here, then you have some that are down by the 7-Eleven," resident Scott Campbell said.

Welcome to - Home of the Obama Joker Socialism Poster JOKER POSTERS are popping up everywhere as Americans voice their outrage over Obama's plans to nationalize health care. Fed up with being ignored by the mainstream media and being bullied out of town-hall meetings with their representatives, the opposition is turning to public displays to be heard. Posters featuring Obama in Joker make-up started appearing around LA in early August. While it is unknown who put up the initial Joker posters, Americans around the country who are tired of Obama trying to turn America to socialism have responded by...

So there I was, on my way to the grocery store this morning to pick up a nice one and three quarter inch thick T-bone for a BBQ this weekend. The store is on the corner of Bank and Somerset - pretty much the nexus of all things left wing in Ottawa. With construction shutting down car traffic on Bank Street all summer, various stores are offering up promos to help with business. Just as I turned to enter the store, the attached Quiznos sign caught my eye - or rather, something *on* the Quiznos sign. Dear Leader! Blasphemed! I...

Posters depicting President Barack Obama in makeup similar to the Joker from the most recent Batman movie have popped up across Lake County. A U.S. Post Office in downtown Clermont had a couple of the posters glued to a collection box. Clermont Postmaster Willie Montgomery said today that the posters were discovered yesterday. Customers complained about the pasted images, he said. "Everybody that saw those posters found them to be very offensive," Montgomery said. "These are personal attacks on the president. We don't have to necessarily agree with the way they're running the country, but we have to respect the...

The following poster I at first did it just because of several requests, because it is a direct quote from the Batman movie that inspired the original artwork. But the more I think about it, the more convinced that it is probably at the root, the most accurate.  To 0bama, socialism isn't a GOAL...  It is merely a tool to be used in reaching his ultimate goal, destruction of the world that has always rejected him, yet used him as a tool: Think about it:  Such an attitude perfectly fits with his whole upbringing:  Half  'black',  half white racially, with probably...

Yes, it's heartening that the rate of job destruction slowed significantly in July--only 247,000 lost non-farm jobs versus 443,000 in June. The labor market does appear to be stabilizing. Still, the unemployment rate itself, despite the drop from 9.5 to 9.4 percent last month, is definitely going to get worse before it gets much better. Consider what actually happened last month: The number of unemployed people dropped by 267,000 while the overall employment number (as opposed to non-farm employment, which is the most typically cited number) dropped by 155,000. Which is to say, those 267,000 no-longer-unemployed people didn't get jobs....

A caricature of Obama as Heath Ledger's garish, pasty-faced Joker from "The Dark Knight" is appearing on the Facebook pages of many an Obama critic these days. And, as is depressingly common, there are Democrats who cry "racist!" The Washington Post devoted several hundred words on the topic: "[The] poster is ultimately a racially charged image. By using the 'urban' makeup of the Heath Ledger Joker, instead of the urbane makeup of the Jack Nicholson character, the poster connects Obama to something many of his detractors fear but can't openly discuss. He is black and he is identified with the...

Much is being made by white liberals among the chattering classes of the cartoon image of Barack Obama as the Joker. One particularly revealing article was written by Liberal Washington Post writer Philip Kennicott attributing racism to the caricature. The base of the argument for racism was built on the claim that the black man is essentially an inner city urban dweller. That is, of course a racist caricature based on a misconception. In fact, according to the US census, only a 3% difference exists between “central city” blacks and non central city blacks. About 36% live in the suburbs...

Here they are: Download them, print them out, pass out to friends, leave at restaurants, give to people, leave on tables or at the main office copier. Spread these around. Make sure to put the back image along with the front, the point is to capture attention with the front, get them to turn it over and start reading about the bill and hopefully shocking them to get engaged opposing it.

First there was the original, Heath Ledger. His performance was praised by one and all. Then came the George W. Bush cover on Vanity Fair and the Right shrugged and said that was rude -- but inaccurate. We all knew that W. was actually Batman.                                                     So now there's the ubiquitous Obama as Joker poster and the Left is up in arms. Immediately they started sputtering -- how terrible! Why.. why... it's RACIST! Well, despite eloquent and empassioned arguments by legitimate commentators, like the article by Philip Kennicott in the Washington Post yesterday -- I'm sorry but it's a stretch. A huge...

This required a few passes to be sure my eyes weren’t playing tricks. You keep telling yourself to stop being amazed by hypocrisy and bias, but again and again someone like Philip Kennicott, a staff writer for the Washington Post, comes up with nonsense like this: And didn’t we see George W. Bush depicted as the Joker not so long ago? Yes, in an image by Drew Friedman published online by Vanity Fair on July 29, 2008. That drawing at least played into a view of Bush popular among his detractors, that the former president was unpredictable and fast on...
