Politics: In a fundraising e-mail, Sen. John Kerry charges that Ohio Republican gubernatorial candidate Ken Blackwell tried to "suppress the Democratic vote." But it wasn't Blackwell who paid off registrars with cocaine. Kerry sent the e-mail to 100,000 Democratic donors Tuesday asking them to support U.S. Rep. Ted Strickland (news, bio, voting record) for governor of Ohio in his race against Secretary of State Blackwell. In it, echoing earlier charges that Blackwell stole the 2004 election for Bush in Ohio, Kerry charged Blackwell "used the power of his state office to try to intimidate Ohioans and suppress the Democratic vote."...

Senator Kerry, supposedly defending Rep. John Murtha, said, "I won't stand for the Swift-Boating of Jack Murtha!" As one of the 254 members of Mr. Kerry's unit in Vietnam who belonged to Swift Boat Veterans and POWs for Truth, I found Mr. Kerry's comments most ironic. To us, Mr. Kerry's comments meant that no one should do to Mr. Murtha that which Mr. Kerry did to all of us and our fellow Vietnam veterans, living and dead. Mr. Kerry's disgraceful comments on many occasions in 1971 (while we were locked in combat), claiming falsely that we were "murdering" hundreds of...

Speaking before about a crowd of about 150 packed into the Republican campaign headquarters Thursday afternoon, Giuliani said that by attacking President Bush, Kerry is impugning the performance of American troops. "What's he's saying by inference is that our troops didn't do their jobs. He's blaming it on the president, but the people that were there, the people on the ground, were our military. Depending on the turnout (wink, wink), I am beginning to believe that Kerry will conclude one of the most miserable campaigns for President ever by losing in states he "shouldn't" be early on election night. Today a new poll showed again that President Bush is dead even with Senator Kerry in New Jersey. This is unbelievable. Al Gore walked away with New Jersey early in the evening in 2000. But if Kerry loses it my prediction is for Bush to almost run the board. The reasons why Kerry is doing badly in New Jersey is partly not his own doing but his...
