A friend of mine serving in Iraq sent me this photo and note. I received it before Christmas, but was out of the office. Priceless story it tells.... "This is a true story.....Check out this photo from our mess hall at the US Embassy yesterday morning. Sen. Kerry found himself all alone while he was over here. He cancelled his press conference because no one came, he worked out alone in the gym w/o any soldiers even going up to say hi or ask for an autograph (I was one of those who was in the gym at the same...

Democratic Sen. John Kerry, mulling a second bid for the U.S. presidency, finished dead last in a poll released Monday on the likability of 20 top American political figures. Among those placing ahead of Kerry were about a dozen potential 2008 White House rivals, including Democratic Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York and Republican Sen. John McCain of Arizona. "This is bad, bad news for Kerry," said Peter Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute in Hamden, Connecticut, which conducted the survey. "Americans know who he is, and have pretty much decided they don't like him," said...

Too late, Mr. Kerry. Your apology is 35 yrs too late. Your attitude toward the American Troops has reared its ugly head again and we are tired of it. Your weak apology won't cut it with me. You said you support the military, but your words and actions say otherwise. Mr. Kerry, you are a traitor to the United States of America. You ought to be locked up and charged with treason. Mr. Kerry, also, you need to resign from the United States Senate. You are a disgrace to the office of Senator and to the United States of America.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democratic Sen. John Kerry said on Wednesday he was sorry about a "botched joke" that drew election-year fire from President George W. Bush and other Republicans who accused him of insulting U.S. troops in Iraq. Kerry reiterated the target of his joke was Bush, who immediately seized on the senator's remarks to rally Republican supporters ahead of Tuesday's elections, in which the party's control of Congress is at risk. Kerry said he was returning to Washington from a trip campaigning on behalf of Democratic congressional candidates because he did not want to be "a distraction." A day...

WASHINGTON --Four years to the day after voting to authorize war in Iraq, Senator John F. Kerry today asserted that the vote is his greatest regret of his political career, and said all lawmakers who voted for the war should admit that it was a mistake. "There's nothing -- nothing -- in my life in public service I regret more, nothing even close," Kerry, a Massachusetts Democrat, wrote in a dispatch on the liberal blog HuffingtonPost.com. "We should all be willing to say: I was wrong, I should not have voted for the Iraq War Resolution." snip...... Throughout his 2004...

A federal judge dismissed a filmmaker's defamation lawsuit against Sen. John Kerry, saying remarks linked to Kerry's campaign during the heat of the 2004 presidential race amount to political opinions. Filmmaker Carlton Sherwood sued Kerry and John Podesta, an aide who ran the Massachusetts Democrat's campaign in Pennsylvania. Sherwood accused them of blocking the release of his documentary about Kerry's anti-Vietnam War activities by labeling Sherwood a "disgraced journalist" and a "Bush hack." The Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc. canceled plans to air the documentary "Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal" on its stations before the November 2004 election. U.S. District...

WASHINGTON -- Senator John F. Kerry is placing himself at the center of congressional action over the war in Iraq this week with a crisply worded resolution to require President Bush to withdraw almost all US troops by the end of this year. The measure has exposed Kerry to attacks from Republicans and some Democrats, as critics rushed to tag the plan as a ``cut-and-run" strategy. But it also has made him a rallying point for antiwar activists. The sweeping resolution amounts to the senator's sharpest condemnation of the war and his broadest repudiation of his own vote to authorize...

Despite my total disgust with the biased media, I had decided to move to another topic. That is, until today when I heard John Kerry discuss the reasons for his failure to win the presidency. I didn’t mind his excuse regarding his party’s failure to get out the vote, even though his people got him more votes than any other candidate, save President Bush, in the history of our nation. How’s that for gratitude? But rather, it was his comments regarding how FOX Cable News, Sinclair Broadcasting, and talk radio had done him in. This excuse was so pitifully lame...

Title : THE DEMOCRAT PARTY - STILL DELIVERING THE GARBAGE Date : 2004-10-29 THE DEMOCRAT PARTY - STILL DELIVERING THE GARBAGE © By Norman Liebmann The Democrats are the political equivalent of the Galapagos Islands where time decided that Evolution ain’t all it’s cracked up to be and made a U turn. The idea of a Carter followed by a Clinton followed by a Kerry makes one marvel at the Democrats’ capacity to spawn human dross. Any consideration of the leading exponents and their idolaters and drones indicates the Democrat Party’s urgent need to be, not only reformed, but wormed....

Hunt gives voters... Well... AN image of Kerry. Really Unbiased Media Program (Filed by pool reporter... special to RUMP News) BOARDMAN, Ohio Oct 21, 2:01 PM (ET) Democratic presidential candidate John Forbes Kerry went goose hunting today in an effort to connect with the common voter. Kerry adviser Mike McCurry said it's important in the final days of the campaign that voters "get a better sense of John Kerry, the guy. I just receive the latest issue of Runner's World today. It's bad enough that John Edwards is on the cover - but when I opened it up to read the athletic comparisons between Bush and Kerry I had to laugh. It lists John Kerry's athletic achievements, one of them being the Boston Marathon. It mentions that he ran the Boston Marathon in the 70's - but he doesn't remember his time, and no official record exists. Par for the course... Sorry, I couldn't find the story at the Runner's World website.

Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry called today for Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld to resign and urged President George Bush to appoint an independent group to recommend reforms after a report faulted all levels of the military for abuse at Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq. “It’s not just the little person at the bottom who ought to pay the price of responsibility,” Kerry said at a Philadelphia union hall. “The buck doesn’t stop at the Pentagon.” A report released yesterday by an independent panel led by former Defence Secretary James Schlesinger concluded that senior US military leaders in Iraq and the...

BOSTON -- Democratic presidential candidate John F. Kerry on Thursday lashed back for the first time against a group of Vietnam veterans critical of his wartime service, accusing them of doing President Bush's "dirty work" and suggesting that he, in turn, will challenge Bush's military record. Two weeks after the veterans launched a television ad questioning Kerry's actions in Vietnam, the back-and-forth over the former Navy lieutenant's record enveloped the campaign, as new records undercut the credibility of one of his critics. During a speech to several thousand firefighters, Kerry directly challenged allegations by the group, Swift Boat Veterans for...

Two newspapers, The Los Angeles Times and The Morning Call of Allentown, have petitioned Allegheny County courts to unseal Heinz's last will and testament. "There is no indication in the file that this estate...

I just watched John Kerry's acceptance of the Democratic Presidential Nomination-out of curiousity to see what he would say. And boy...the lies just don't stop! It appalls me to see people cheering a man who stands on no principles except for those that seem convenient that day. Once again, Kerry flouts himself as a Vietnam veteran. How dare he, a man who actively protested against the war with Vietnam Veterans against the War, and a man who betrayed his fellow servicemen during the Winter Soldier investigations. This is a man who accused fellow servicemen of comitting war crimes in Vietnam...

If any of you missed it, Sen. Zell Miller just came up with one of the great lines so far in the campaign. He and Sean Hannity were discussing balancing of the ticket. Miller said that what Kerry did to balance the ticket was that "Kerry chose a smiley face to go along with his frowny face." God bless Senator Miller. He is putting his country above his party. He is perhaps the last honest Democrat.

NANTUCKET, Mass. - After a week of campaigning for the less fortunate, John Kerry (news - web sites) went on vacation with the fabulously wealthy. Kerry is a rich man who promotes the Democratic ideal that government should do more to help the poor. He moves between both worlds, spending the past week traveling to downtrodden places like South-side Columbus, Ohio, and the affluent island playground of Nantucket. Not since President Kennedy have Democrats been prepared to nominate a man of such riches. President Clinton (news - web sites) didn't own a home until he left the White House and...

Okay, we all know that Kerry has decided to take a week off from campaigning but the question is, will he actuall go the the job he has been neglecting for the past 8 or 9 months? All I could find was the following blurb right at the end of a story: During this week of unscheduled time off, Kerry said he will do some office work that has been neglected as he travels the country.

WASHINGTON -- John F. Kerry yesterday defended the idea of leaving the Democratic National Convention in July without a formal nomination as his party's presidential candidate, saying that there is ample political precedent to support it and that Republicans are complaining about the move because "someone might have a way of neutralizing their advantage." The Massachusetts senator told the Globe: "One thing I can tell you is that on Wednesday night, the [candidate for] vice president of the United States will be nominated and give a speech, and on Thursday night I will give my speech."

I once was impressed by John Kerry's war record, but no more. For one thing, I'm puzzled he served in Vietnam just four months. Did he fight simply to decorate his resume? By most accounts, he already was planning to be the next president from Massachusetts with the initials JFK. So why would he join a war that he opposed, unless it was to earn political credibility? Then there's his first Purple Heart, the one he earned on Dec. 2, 1968, near Cam Ranh Bay. The more you learn about it, the more you snicker. According to a report by...

H. J. Heinz Co. is in a pickle. The Pittsburgh-based foodmaker has been deluged with e-mails from unhappy consumers who want to know why it's involved in the presidential campaign. The company's emphatic answer is, "We're not," and it has hired some big-time Republican lobbyists to help spread the word. "We make ketchup; we don't make politics," asserts Jack Smyth, a Heinz senior vice president. Still, it's easy to see why customers might think otherwise. The multimillionaire wife of Sen. John F. Kerry, the Democrats' presumptive presidential nominee, is often referred to in the press as "the ketchup heiress." Teresa...

I am sure that many of you out there are aware of the whole Kerry throwing away his ribbons, medals, both, someone elses medals (I think you get what I am saying)controversy. Well, I know that since Kerry is such a great war hero and since he was "forced"(notice the sarcasm) to throw over his medals(last week) or his ribbons (this week), we should do our duty by replacing them. (Keep in mind, we don't know what he will claim he threw when we ask him next week...he might change his mind again!) This is why we all should send...

RIGHT now, John Kerry's message seems to boil down to this: I deserve to be president because I served in Vietnam.

But that's not a vision for America - and it clashes with the American concept of heroism. Every time Kerry argues about what he did or didn't do with his Vietnam medals, he sounds less and less like Gary Cooper.

IF JOHN KERRY hadn't already clinched the Democratic presidential nomination, his medals meltdown on "Good Morning America" this week would have sunk his campaign. Much as Howard Dean's crazed "I Have A Scream" speech jolted voters into wondering whether someone so hotheaded should be allowed anywhere near the nuclear trigger, Kerry's abusive tirade on ABC gave millions of viewers a foretaste of how far presidential discourse will sink if Kerry becomes president.

John Kerry's Phantom Attackers: The "Victim Act" is Wearing ThinJohn Kerry's MO couldn't be more obvious: claim that anything he says is a response to an "attack" -- even though his opponents haven't said a word. Thus, he he hopes, he can continually go negative and be on the attack, claiming that he is just acting in self-defense. People are beginning to catch on to this "phantom attacker" strategy. Of course, we can hasten the demise of this strategy, and turn it against him, by pointing it out to everyone we know. One way to alert people to Kerry's ruse is...

What Would Kerry Do As President? Senator Doesn't Always AnswerBy Susan JonesCNSNews.com Morning EditorApril 08, 2004 (CNSNews.com) - For the second time in two days, Sen. John F. Kerry on Wednesday seemed unable to answer a question about what he would do if he were president. Kerry this week has blasted the Bush administration for its "failures" in Iraq. On Wednesday, in an interview with American Urban Radio Networks, Kerry called the administration's actions in Iraq "one of the greatest failures of diplomacy and failures of judgment that I have seen in all the time that I've been in public...

The Democrats have hitched their Presidential hopes to one of the strangest nominees in a long time, John Kerry. His cold aloofness, his thin-skinned nastiness, his habit of marrying wealthy women and living grandly on the proceeds, and his unique propensity for deep-cutting self-satire (“I voted for it before I voted against it”), make him remarkably unappealing to the non-ideological swing voters who will decide the election. Recall for a moment that the only reason he became the front-runner was the Democrats’ desperation in the wake of the Howard Dean public meltdown. Prior to that moment, Kerry’s campaign had gone...

In the last election, 18 million young people voted. What if that were 20 million? Who's swing voting now?" The same network that has given us "The Osbournes," "Punk'd," and "Total Request Live" also contributes to the seriousness of politics by delivering "Choose or Lose," the current MTV campaign to mobilize 20 million young voters in November. President Bush's campaign for re-election has an easy job running anti-Kerry ads. All it has to do is quote John Kerry. The most laughed-about quotation in the new TV commercial about the Massachusetts Democrat's flip-flop on Iraq: "I actually did vote for his $87 billion, before I voted against it." Kerry's campaign responded by raging that "America continues to falter." By the way, still no comment from Kerry's handlers on his ringing endorsement from anti-Jewish zealot Mahathir "Final Victory" Mohamad.

WASHINGTON - Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry on Monday criticized President Bush's record on homeland security, saying his Republican rival is "big on bluster and short on action" in protecting the nation. Speaking to the International Association of Firefighters, a 263,000-member union that has endorsed his candidacy, the four-term Massachusetts senator argued that Bush talks tough on terrorism but has failed to back it up with the financial resources firefighters and other first responders need. "I do not fault George Bush for doing too much in the war on terror, I believe he's done too little," Kerry said. "I think...
