In a complaint filed with the court, the mayor's attorneys argue that Governor Jennifer Granholm has made prior statements indicating that she has prejudged the matter and will be predisposed to remove Kilpatrick from office. Attached is a Summons, Complaint and Emergency Motion for Temporary Restraining Order and Preliminary Injunction which was filed today. A hearing before Judge Ziolkowski is scheduled for Friday, August 29th at 10:00 a.m.
