Moran will announce shortly after the legislature is completed in late May/early June. Moran shouldn't have any serious Republican challengers for the nomination. Also, our sources tell us that Olathe State Senator Kay O'Connor is considering running for Secretary of State against incumbent Ron Thornburgh.
