Michael Moore: I can understand why Republicans and some of the people on the right, lol, are like, 'What are you doing setting a deadline?'. It's like CRAZY. If they're truly the enemy, you don't say, 'Okay, we're going to fight you until 2:00 on ummm (looks at watch), on July 2, 2011. I mean it's like, if they are the enemy, you fight them until they're done. Until you win, and they lose. And that's not what he said. He just provided more fodder for his opponents by giving a deadline. Larry KIng: Right Michael Moore: If somebody is...

Here is video of Carrie PreJean on Larry King Live last night where there was a really bizarre exchange between PreJean and King. King asked PreJean why she agreed to settle out of court in a lawsuit against the Pageant that fired her. PreJean said she could not talk about the terms of the settlement because it was a confidential agreement. King persisted in asking "why" she settled, not about the terms of the settlement. PreJean then told King he was being "inappropriate," and that she could not talk about the settlement. King moved on and took a call but...

Here is video of Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, a rising star (which I measure from the fact that the Left hates her almost as much as Palin) in the conservative movement, being interviewed by a perplexed and frustrated Larry King. Bachmann points out that Americans, in order to "get the truth," are turning to Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Sean Hannity, and Glenn Beck. King repeatedly interrupts her, attempting to minimize the size of their respective audiences, incorrectly stating that they capture "only 2% of the population."

Here is video of GOP Rep. Michele Bachmann clearly agitating Larry King by praising Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Sean Hannity, and Glenn Beck as the places Americans are turning to in order to get "the truth." King tried to interrupt her, and diss the audience of the three conservatives, saying it is "only 2% of the population. Actually, Rush Limbaugh's audience alone is over 20 million people, which is 6% of the population. . . . (VIDEO)

CNN’s Larry King fawned over Michael Moore during an hour-long interview on his program on Wednesday, calling the leftist’s latest feature “a brilliant documentary,” and went on to label the director “our number one propagandist.” King encouraged all of his viewers to see Moore’s “Capitalism: A Love Story,” which was released in New York City and L.A. earlier that day. The CNN anchor led his 9 pm Eastern program with his gush over the apparent magnificence of Moore and his latest documentary: “I’ve seen this movie, and I’ll tell you, whether people agree or disagree with it- and there will...

Here is video from Larry King Live last night where James Carville and Liz Cheney debating about Gov. Sarah Palin's resignation, President Obama's drive to bring Government Health Care to America, and the scandal over Gov. Mark Sanford's affair with a woman from Argentina. Carville was his usual nasty self, and Cheney was well-spoken and did a good job holding her own. On Sarah Palin, Cheney pointed out that feminists and liberal hate Sarah Palin because she balances home and professional life, and is staunchly pro-life. . . . . (Watch Video)

Larry King's addiction: Michael Jackson Three weeks after the King of Pop's death, other media outlets have largely moved on, while the CNN host has devoted much of his programming to Jackson. Even guest Mark Geragos seems exasperated. James Rainey July 17, 2009. An intervention couldn't save Michael Jackson, but maybe it's not too late for Larry King. The King of Talk can't stop blathering about the King of Pop. It's been building for three weeks now, getting more and more absurd. Night after night, the CNN host tosses out sentence-fragment questions ("Brain not returned to the family . ....

Want to appear as a champion of a cause without being held to account for the hateful name-calling you did in the name of your cause? Appear on CNN's "Larry King Live." Perez Hilton, author of the celebrity gossip site PerezHilton.com, got to do just that. who advocates that gay marriage should be legal. Hilton, coming off his appearance as a judge for the Miss USA pageant on April 19 appeared on Larry King's April 20 CNN broadcast and explained why he asked Miss California, Carrie Prejean, what she thought of gay marriage. "Well, I was given the opportunity, on...

As the gay marriage movement begins to gain momentum, Pastor Rick Warren, best known for his best-selling book The Purpose Driven Life, is apologizing to the gay community for making comments supporting California’s Proposition 8. During a Monday on Larry King Live, the mega-church pastor claims he “never once even gave an endorsement” of the marriage amendment only to later state that he regretted supporting it. Proposition 8 protects the definition of marriage as between a man and a woman, thereby eliminating same-sex couple’s right to marry. Although Warren publicly spoke out in support of Proposition 8 just weeks before...

You too can save the planet from the effects of carbon emissions by participating in the symbolic gesture of turning off one light switch at a time for Earth Hour on March 28. That's the message from actor Edward Norton, the official U.S. ambassador for Earth Hour 2009, who appeared on CNN's "Larry King Live" on March 25. As Norton explained, this is a symbolic event for which everyone turns out their lights from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. local time on March 29. And this act will encourage world political leaders to cap or tax carbon emissions through the...

For the record, Laura Ingraham never actually called Meghan McCain fat. However, Ingraham has been dead on hilarious in her imitation of Meghan's mindless sounding Valley Girl accent. A quick listen to Ms McCain's voice on this video clip of her appearance on CNN's Larry King Live last night brought back memories of the years your humble correspondent spent in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles, birthplace of the Valley Girl accent which, unfortunately, spread to many parts of the country. That Valspeak accent still painfully reverberates in my ears yet despite my earnest hope that it would...

Here is video of Gov. Bobby Jindal appearing last night on CNN's Larry King Live. King talked with Jindal about Obama's plans for the economy and the criticism Jindal has received for his GOP Response Speech last week. Jindal did a great job facing up to the criticism, admitting he is not as good a speaker as Obama, but his ideals and principles are right. Jindal was predictably asked if he agreed with Rush Limbaugh about wanting President Obama to "fail," and he answered it perfectly! He affirmed Rush as a "great leader of conservatives," and said Rush is saying...

On January 23, Joy Behar, who apparently was once a comedian of some kind and now is in politics--sort of like Al Franken--appeared on the Larry King show on CNN. The Gay Patriot caught it and commented, but didn't have access to the transcript. It's up now, here, and it illustrates pretty well what we're up against in the world of entertainment. (I assume someone out there must think Behar is entertaining.) KING: OK, is this administration going to be hard for the comics to have fun with? BEHAR: Yes. And all I can say is thank you for Joe...

I don't know what happened to Larry here, or if this snapshot's even real. (The image appears to be on TV, so it MUST be true!) I do know this. Bad softball interviewers don't lend themselves to good critiques when you wind up on a dumbass hair blog like this one.

Larry King, the King of Overstatement, is at it again. Apparently Obama’s victory has left him in such a state of euphoria that he told viewers we could have “a lesbian” in the White House within ten years. At least we think he said lesbian. To be completely honest, we usually lose interest in Larry’s show at about the 15 minute mark. He may have said “Lebanese.” We weren’t really paying attention. King’s contract runs through 2010. But we strongly urge CNN to buy Larry a nice condo down in West Palm now, so he can spend his golden years...

ADD Larry King to the ever-lengthening list of people who lost money with Ponz scum Bernie Madoff. A perfectly placed source said the host of CNN's "Larry King Live" lost "over $1 million with Madoff. It was a lot of money." King's spokesman, Howard Rubenstein, declined to comment. Meanwhile, King's not the only one in queasy health. Several sources have told Page Six that Madoff himself has serious health issues. Some have even said the former money manager has pancreatic cancer. Madoff's lawyers declined to comment.

Last night, Larry King had four guests on his show to discuss the nomination of Eric Holder to become Attorney General. Even though Holder's role in the pardon of fugitive Marc Rich by Bill Clinton was highly controversial, not one of the guests had any real problem with that. Somehow Larry King couldn't find a single guest who would offer arguments against the appointment of Eric Holder. To get you up to speed on Holder's role in the Marc Rich pardon, here is an Associated Press story on this subject from last June: The last time Washington attorney Eric Holder...

Don't blink your eyes. If you do, you might miss the one very brief mention of Barack Obama's stunning 2001 radio interview on Larry King Live last night where he called for legislative means to redistribute the wealth. Are you ready? Okay, here it comes in this brief mention by former Republican congresswoman Susan Molinari: I think there's still a lot of fighting spirit in this campaign as we go state to state. The numbers are starting to get closer. Senator McCain is continuing and Governor Palin, to take the argument of the words that Senator Obama had given us...

On Tuesday, September 23, Lary King, far from his usual challenging demeanor, offered Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad ample opportunity to present his case. The final touch was to give him a human face. “Do you have children?” King asked the brutal dictator. “How old are they?” he followed, giving Ahmadinejad an opportunity to present his “human” side.

(CNN) -- The Federal Reserve Board announced an $85 billion plan Tuesday to bail out troubled insurance giant American International Group Inc. The federal government decided to intervene after determining a failure of the company, whose financial dealings stretch around the world, could hurt the already delicate markets and the economy. Personal finance expert Suze Orman appeared on "Larry King Live" on Tuesday to discuss what the AIG bailout means to you and how safe is your money during this economic downturn. The following is an edited version of the interview: Larry King: A few months ago, you said on...

It always comes down to this one, doesn't it? Leftists and fringe politicos calling Republicans "Nazis." Well, the "N" word was once again unleashed against John McCain's Republican Convention on September 2 during CNN's Larry King Live show. Actor D.L. Hughley and Independent former Governor of Minnesota Jesse Ventura both went for that shopworn epithet as King discussed the Convention. Along with Hughley and Ventura, King had on former Clinton Press Secretary Dee Dee Myers who claimed that Republicans were saying with their convention theme that “only Republicans put their country first” ridiculously saying that Independents shouldn't vote for the...

During an interview with Larry King, Bill Maher went on a diatribe about the stupidity of the American people, because he is dumbfounded by the 2/3 of Americans who believe that offshore drilling will bring gas prices down. King, not realizing he was about to insult the average caller who phones into his show each evening along with the millions who watch him in his own audience, simply asked Maher if he agreed with essayist H.L. Menken who said, “No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people.” Video

Just started watching Larry King for a lark. There are no larks on the show, but the harridan, Joy Behar, is hostessing. Her guests are three liberals and one supposed conservative, Ben Stein. First question: How did Obama do on his Tour of Iraq? The question goes to Ben Stein who falls all over himself praising Obama, gushing how wonderful and masterful he is, and ending up drooling over how Obama is the best he has ever seen in his lifetime. Naturally, the panel of libs agreed immediately and offered Stein free membership in the club. With conservatives like these...

FishbowlLA today quells some of those Ryan Seacrest-to-CNN rumors. King just signed a new deal that will keep him with CNN into 2011. The deal, however, does not guarantee King will stay as 9pmET host of Larry King Live.

The arraignment of 14-year-old Brandon McInerney, accused of shooting an Oxnard schoolmate in the head, was postponed again Thursday and rescheduled for June. Ventura County Superior Court Judge Kevin McGee granted the delay requested by McInerney's lawyer William "Willy" Quest. Earlier, Quest said in an interview that he is working on a legal motion attacking the constitutionality of trying his client as an adult. The attorney said it will be a "very in-depth" legal issue pertaining to serious constitutional matters. Quest wants time to prepare and submit his legal motion before his client is arraigned McInerney made a brief court...

This is for ongoing postings about the live show due to begin at 21:00 EST Please paraphrase key sentences and phrases for those of us without TV's. From the lead-up on C2C a night or so ago, it should be a significant raising of the bar. They are evidently deliberately minimizing if not excluding outlandish aspects and emphasizing what these former government black ops employees have personally experienced and observed in their jobs in the broad field. Bill Clinton’s appearance on Wednesday’s "Larry King Live" gave new life to the old nickname for CNN as the "Clinton News Network." Host Larry King fawned over Clinton during the 40-minute interview, asking the impeached former president questions on wide range of topics. King asked Clinton if Osama bin Laden was ever going to caught. After Clinton gave the standard Democrat line that not enough resources are being sent to Afghanistan in the hunt for the al Qaeda leader, King added, "You almost got him." Clinton answered affirmatively, and added that he "never had a chance to deploy large numbers...

It seemed like a comedy sketch meant to parody the unique Larry King interviewing style but last night satire met reality when King interviewed several transgendered people on his show. Because Larry didn't change his typical interview style a bit, the show came off as both extremely surreal as well as unintentionally hilarious. Here is a portion of the transcript from King's August 10 show which melodramatically begins with this introduction: UNIDENTIFIED MALE: She took away our father, but in return she gave me another parent, a better parent. Our love is unconditional.(END VIDEO CLIP)KING: An 18-year-old in transition from male...

The only "Simpsons" series character whose name was changed for the movie was Austrian-born action star Rainer Wolfcastle, who goes by the name of President Schwarzenegger. This is satire, I think. There are nine Republican contenders for president and many more in the party looking for a rock-star candidate. Is it Rudy Giuliani, a.k.a. the Mayor of Terror Town? Mitt Romney, who bears a spooky resemblance to CBS CEO Leslie Moonves? Tom Tancredo or Tommy Thompson, both of whose names would restore alliteration to the White House for the first time since the Reagan era? I woke up early Sunday...

WASHINGTON, July 31 (UPI) -- U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney Tuesday admitted he was wrong when he declared the Iraq insurgency virtually over in 2005. In an interview with CNN's Larry King, Cheney said he thought at the time the capture of Saddam Hussein, elections and other milestones would be enough to undermine the insurgency. "That clearly didn't happen," Cheney admitted. "I think the insurgency turned out to be more robust." Cheney predicted, however, Iraq will be in a much better position by the time he and U.S. President George Bush leave office Jan. 20, 2009. The vice president said...

LOS ANGELES - Paris Hilton plans to appear on CNN's "Larry King Live" on Wednesday night, a day after she's scheduled to be released from jail, a spokeswoman for King said Saturday. "We do have Paris on Wednesday," said the show's spokeswoman, Bridget Leininger. "She'll do the whole hour." Hilton spokesman Elliott Mintz didn't immediately return a call seeking comment. CNN's announcement followed competition for the interview between ABC and NBC that ended Friday with both networks saying they were no longer interested. Both networks were embarrassed by reports that they were willing to pay the Hilton family for materials...

Fidel Castro 'Fascinates' Larry King Because He Is So Well-Liked and Doesn't Need Security Posted by Lynn Davidson on June 16, 2007 - 15:22. In yet another example of either Castro-philia or ill-informed gullibility by a member of the press, this time from CNN's Larry King, who fell for the propaganda of Hollywood, leftists and Fidel Castro who portray the oppressive Communist dictator in the media as a Communist--uh, strike that--socialist Sheriff Andy Taylor, who is so beloved by his “constituents,” that he is never challenged and doesn't need to take basic security precautions.
