RUSH: The Left Declares War on God

The Left Declares War on God September 3, 2008 BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: If you're just joining us, too bad for you. You missed a barnstormer of a first hour. Audio sound bite from Mark "Maxi" Shields and Sally Quinn, both complaining that Sarah Palin has no business accepting the job of vice president. No way, because she got too many kids. She needs to stay home -- and besides, if she's elected vice president, she's got a 17-year-old daughter that's pregnant. She's got a Down syndrome baby of her own. It's just too distracting. She can't possibly work. Besides,...

OBAMA PANIC The Obama forces then realized the foreboding Revelation that appeared before them..behold, a Palin horse: and she that sat upon him, her name was Death THE LIBERAL NIGHTMAREA real fear has invaded the Democrat political machine, with the introduction of the McCain choice of Sarah Palin, as his running mate, the landscape has abruptly changed.. Her unique persona exploded on the scene, and instantly took the oxygen from their rarefied air.. The pros and con artist, in the Obama camp realized at once, that this single masterful stroke, could hold an omen.. With this bold move, they recognized...

Someone is Distributing Talking Points About the Attacks on Palin and Her Family

Someone is distributing talking points to all the liberal media and their allies in the evil attacks on Sarah Palin and her family. All of the liberal media have been asking the same question in response to any inquiry as to why Palin's family are acceptable targets, "...anything discovered about her family that wasn't disclosed raises questions about whether or not she was properly vetted." This proves a conspiracy which is probably being orchestrated by David Axelrod in Obama's campaign or someone at the DNC. Either way, it proves that both the DNC and Barack Obama do not deserve a...

Who's Being Hypocritical?

Liberals are outraged at the supposed hypocrisy of Sarah Palin (and conservatives) for supporting abstinence-only education and family values generally in light of revelations concerning the pregnancy of her teenage daughter. It's only fair, then, that they should be called upon to explain their own hypocrisy in the compassion, privacy, gender and race departments. Liberals are sick and tired of conservatives lecturing them about family values. Yet it is liberals who do most of the moralizing and sermonizing, seeming to derive their entire sense of superior self-worth in favorably comparing themselves with heartless, bigoted conservatives. Liberals claim a monopoly on...

Ten Myths in America

I feel compelled the dispel ten myths that I see as pervasively present in American society. These are beliefs that are repeated so often, and with so little opposition, that they are taken as fact. However, they fail to stand up to mathematical analysis, logical reasoning, or both. In no particular order, let me evoke John Stossel and proceed to puncture these oft-unchallenged myths. 1) School Teachers are Underpaid in America : In any free-market setting, no profession will be perpetually underpaid, relative to output produced. Another clue is that private school teachers actually earn less than public school teachers....

Tensions Boil Over at MSNBC (LOL Video of Liberal crackup)

Tensions are running high at MSNBC, at least surrounding veteran host Joe Scarborough who seems to be increasingly discontented at his network's decision to market itself as the cable net of choice for Bush haters. That hasn't sat well with the likes of the far left Keith Olbermann who has played a large role in getting MSNBC to pursue this strategy The Democratic convention seems to have only exacerbated those tensions. Last night saw Olbermann caught on an open mic blurting out profane disgust at Scarborough, prompting the latter to verbally call him out while fellow MSNBC anchor Chris Matthews...

Who killed (or stole) Liberalism?

I have long wondered why Liberalism in America came to be associated with quasi-socialist policies and big government. In Europe, liberals are "social democrats" from what I understand, while the term "liberal" is applied to free market and what we would call libertarian types. Liberalism is the foundation of this country and originally expressed pro-limited government views not held by liberals today, but in fact held by conservatives today. The classiscal Liberalism of old is much closer politically to Libertarianism or Conservatism today than to what we have come to know as Liberalism. I have seen many anti-liberal sentiments here...

The Biggest Missing Story in Politics---WOW!

The Battleground Poll, the most respected and thorough of all public opinion polls, released its latest results on August 20th. Although many people read this poll for the data on voter preference in upcoming elections, for voter opinions about the two major political parties, for what things matter most to voters, I always zip past this data in the first fifteen pages of poll results and go straight to Question D3, which very quietly and totally ignored proclaims the biggest missing story in American politics and which is the only story, in the long run, that really matters.
Big Mistake: Billing Liberal Biden As "More Conservative" Than Obama

The conservative talk show world is blundering badly right now, Hannity and others keep emphasizing that Joe Biden voted for the Iraq war which Obama opposed. The aim is to show Obama's own (probable) VP pick disagrees with Obama's policies. This will only confuse moderates and conservatives into thinking Obama has chosen a more conservative running mate.
Ulysses Currie: Court decision on guns blind to consequences

In a 5-4 decision, the U.S. Supreme Court on June 26 struck down the District of Columbia's 32-year old ban on handgun ownership. I am shocked and outraged at the ease with which the court has turned a blind eye and a deaf ear to the reality of handgun violence. As no other court has done, the Supreme Court interpreted the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution in keeping with the conservative National Rifle Association's interpretation that the amendment gives individuals the right to keep loaded handguns in their homes for protection. The 1976 D.C. handgun ban was enacted as...
