  • Obama not really changing gun law, only helping FBI/BATF

Barack Obama is not really changing gun law. He can't. What he IS doing is creating more jobs for the FBI and BATF and increasing the manpower of both agencies for future use. Also, he is stirring people to anger to be able to mark those who react the most for future reference as well. Don't play the game.
  • Banning Gun Sales to People on No-Fly List May Not Be Constitutional, Experts Say (Capt Obvious)

On Thursday, Connecticut Gov. Dannel Malloy announced plans to issue an executive order barring anyone listed on federal terrorist watch lists from purchasing a gun in the state. But while the idea of “no fly, no gun” has found growing support following the mass shooting in San Bernardino last week, including that of President Obama, experts say such a policy may be unconstitutional. The problem lies with the terrorist watch lists themselves, which are both secret and routinely updated without the typical due process given to those who are accused of breaking the law, such as court proceedings. Without a...

A spreadsheet that a man emailed his wife detailing her reasons for turning him down for sex has been shared by thousands of people online. For a whole month, the 26-year-old sexually-frustrated husband jotted down every response from his other half when he asked her for intimacy. He then collated the information and put it into an Excel document before cruelly emailing her as she arrived at an airport ahead of a ten-day business trip.

Yowzers, it's been a good year for music. Music so good it made us want to lick the packaging it came in. Music so bad we had a bonfire piled high with it. Music so weird it made us question whether it was even music. After countless hours of in-office arguing, we've boiled the lot of it down to the 50 choicest cuts of 2012
  • Help, Compiling a list of Conservative companies (Vanity)

I want to compile a list of companies that emphasize or support conservative principles. Ones that do not feed the democrat machine. I just feel it will be much easier to frequent places on an "approved" list than it will be try and pick out companies to boycott. I am hoping to compile the list by industry. For instance, Chik-fil-a would be in the restaurant category. I would really appreciate any help. Sorry for doing this, but I really want to be disciplined with my $$ from now on.

A nice young man knocked on my door on Saturday. He identified himself as being associated with the Democratic Party, and he was going door to door checking current residents against registered voter name a addresses he had on a list. As I said, he was very pleasant and courteous, but it got me to thinking...are the dems only cleaning up Republican inconsistancies while leaving ghost Democrats on the rolls? Will they use these current numbers to help figure how many votes need to be ginned up to assure a victory? Doesn't much matter where I live (SoCal), as the...

I apologize for forgetting the FReeper who did yeoman's work compiling the list of suspicious deaths surrounding Clinton and his various scandals. I was always impressed by its length and chilling implications. Since we are now under the rule of the "Chicago Way," I'm wondering if folks out there know of similar deaths we can connect to Obama's henchmen? Brian A. Terry sort of fits the bill, though the death was not an attempt to quiet anyone. The Navy SEALs who died in the chopper crash after OBL's assassination fit the bill better. And perhaps that gay guy that Sinclaire...

Hospital waiting times have begun to rise again after years of decline following the introduction of European rules on junior doctors working hours. Waiting times in the NHS had been dropping since the 1990s but the rules limiting junior doctors to a 48-hour week, which were implemented last August, had reversed the trend. Thousands more patients were now waiting longer than 18 weeks for surgery. (Snip) However, since the EU directive cut junior doctors hours from 56 to 48 per week, these gains had been wiped out, the Royal College said.

"Sexy" is a relative term -- one man's baby-makin' music might be his woman's soundtrack for a snoozefest. But there's nothing subjective about this list. These are, literally, the 50 most popular songs about sex ever, as based on each song's performance on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (from August 4, 1958 -- the inception of the Hot 100 chart -- through the Jan. 16, 2010 issue). Some songs are steamy slow-jams, some are hi-octane arena-rockers, but what they all have in common (and what got them on this list) is that the subject matter of each song is directly...

In a case that raises questions about online journalism and privacy rights, the U.S. Department of Justice sent a formal request to an independent news site ordering it to provide details of all reader visits on a certain day. The grand jury subpoena also required the Philadelphia-based Web site "not to disclose the existence of this request" unless authorized by the Justice Department, a gag order that presents an unusual quandary for any news organization.
