Barack Obama is not really changing gun law. He can't. What he IS doing is creating more jobs for the FBI and BATF and increasing the manpower of both agencies for future use. Also, he is stirring people to anger to be able to mark those who react the most for future reference as well. Don't play the game.
  • Banning Gun Sales to People on No-Fly List May Not Be Constitutional, Experts Say (Capt Obvious)

On Thursday, Connecticut Gov. Dannel Malloy announced plans to issue an executive order barring anyone listed on federal terrorist watch lists from purchasing a gun in the state. But while the idea of “no fly, no gun” has found growing support following the mass shooting in San Bernardino last week, including that of President Obama, experts say such a policy may be unconstitutional. The problem lies with the terrorist watch lists themselves, which are both secret and routinely updated without the typical due process given to those who are accused of breaking the law, such as court proceedings. Without a...

A spreadsheet that a man emailed his wife detailing her reasons for turning him down for sex has been shared by thousands of people online. For a whole month, the 26-year-old sexually-frustrated husband jotted down every response from his other half when he asked her for intimacy. He then collated the information and put it into an Excel document before cruelly emailing her as she arrived at an airport ahead of a ten-day business trip.

Hospital waiting times have begun to rise again after years of decline following the introduction of European rules on junior doctors working hours. Waiting times in the NHS had been dropping since the 1990s but the rules limiting junior doctors to a 48-hour week, which were implemented last August, had reversed the trend. Thousands more patients were now waiting longer than 18 weeks for surgery. (Snip) However, since the EU directive cut junior doctors hours from 56 to 48 per week, these gains had been wiped out, the Royal College said.

"Sexy" is a relative term -- one man's baby-makin' music might be his woman's soundtrack for a snoozefest. But there's nothing subjective about this list. These are, literally, the 50 most popular songs about sex ever, as based on each song's performance on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (from August 4, 1958 -- the inception of the Hot 100 chart -- through the Jan. 16, 2010 issue). Certain models of older cars and trucks are popular with thieves because of the value of their parts. Frequently, the parts can be stripped from a car at a chop shop and sold for at least twice as much as the value of the vehicle on the used car market. Newer models are also more difficult, but not impossible to steal thanks to anti-theft technology incorporated by the manufacturers. In addition, popular cars are often stolen more simply because their are more of them. See the list of top 10 stolen cars 2008:

The suit, filed yesterday by the Pittsburgh chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union, says the county's policy violates open records laws and Constitutional rights.
