We live in an age of documents. There are no more secrets, only deferred disclosures. Saddam Hussein's secret documents are measured by the shelf-mile and stored inside a secure but dusty facility near U.S. Central Command Headquarters in Doha, Qatar, and in several subsidiary sites. Armed guards protect the unread dossiers. Three shifts of two hundred translators each work around the clock. Perhaps 5% of these captured documents have been studied so far, but their contents are about to shatter much of the conventional wisdom concerning Saddam's weapons of mass destruction. The absolutists on either side of the WMD debate...

had an unusual education in the Holocaust. When I was working for the Attorney General, I was assigned to do the classified research about the Holocaust, so I went underground to a little town called Suitland, Maryland, right outside Washington, D.C., and that's where the U.S. government buries its secrets -- literally. There are twenty vaults underground and each vault is one acre in size. Anyone see the movie "Raiders of the Lost Ark"? The last scene of that movie is what the underground vaults are really like, only not as organized as they are in the movie. And in...

Special Report New Attempt to Distract Niger Uranium Export Issue Away From Libyan Rôle Analysis. By Gregory R. Copley, Editor, GIS. New attempts are being made by officials from Niger to obfuscate the political picture with regard to the supply of Niger-originating uranium to Iraq. However, there is now a growing possibility that the reality that Niger supplied uranium to Libya, and that Libya hosted the Iraqi strategic weapons programs from about 1998 onwards, will be openly acknowledged by US and UK governments in the near future. The exclusive reporting on this matter by GIS/Defense & Foreign Affairs — reporting...

Just recently, Saddam Hussein's former southern regional commander, Gen. Al-Tikriti, gave the first videotaped testimony confirming that Iraq had WMDs up to the American invasion in 2003 and that Russia helped removed them prior to the war. His testimony confirms numerous other sources that have pointed to Russia's secret alliance with Iraq and the co-ordinated moving of WMDs before the American liberation. Today we've invited three experts on this subject to discuss the details of Al-Tikriti's testimony and its larger significance. Our guests today are: John Loftus, president of the Intelligence Summit, a non-profit, non-partisan charity to support our intelligence...

My book was the first to make the claim that Russia was involved in moving Iraq's WMDs to Syria. After all the nay saying and criticizing I received for it, testimony at the Summit confirmed that this was true... The plan was drawn up after the Soviet Union decided to use its rogue state allies, specifically Libya and Iraq, to sponsor terrorism. The Soviets would help them make WMD in return, believing that would prevent Western retaliation. The head of the KGB, Yuri Andropov, told Pacepa that Russian advisors ran these countries intelligence services. Primakov was the central figure in...

WASHINGTON, DC, United States (UPI) -- U.S. intelligence officials are being warned about attending a conference this weekend where organizers plan to release audio tapes of Iraqi President Saddam Hussein discussing his illegal weapons programs -- because of concerns about one of the event`s underwriters. The Intelligence Summit, a privately organized conference and exhibition being held this weekend in Arlington, Va., boasts that it 'is intended to be the most prestigious world conference on international studies, intelligence policy, terrorism, and homeland security.' Until recently the event had two former CIA directors on its board of advisors, and touted a number...

Ex-Official: Russia Moved Saddam's WMDs A top Pentagon official who was responsible for tracking Saddam Hussein's weapons programs before and after the 2003 liberation of Iraq, has provided the first-ever account of how Saddam Hussein "cleaned up" his weapons of mass destruction stockpiles to prevent the United States from discovering them. "The short answer to the question of where the WMDs Saddam bought from the Russians went was that they went to Syria and Lebanon," former Deputy Undersecretary of Defense John. A. Shaw told an audience Saturday at a privately sponsored "Intelligence Summit" in Alexandria, Va. (www.intelligencesummit.org) "They were moved...

This morning the New York Sun has a new report on the so-called "Saddam Tapes." The article, entitled "Furor Erupts Over Recordings of Saddam," reports that two former CIA directors, James Woolsey and John Deutch, have resigned from something called the Intelligence Summit, run by a former federal prosecutor named John Loftus. The Intelligence Summit is scheduled to release the Saddam tapes tomorrow. Loftus has been a moving force behind the appearance of the tapes; last week, the Sun reported that the House Intelligence Committee was studying the tapes, which "were provided to [the] committee by a former federal prosecutor,...

Two former CIA directors have resigned from the board of the organization planning tomorrow to make public secret recordings of Saddam Hussein and his advisers. In the last week both John Deutch and James Woolsey abruptly left their positions at Intelligence Summit, according to its president, John Loftus, who said their departure is part of a campaign by the directorate of national intelligence to punish him for releasing the recordings.

WASHINGTON - Among the treasure trove of information captured after Saddam Hussein's fall were tape recordings of the Iraqi leader discussing weapons of mass destruction with top aides. Transcripts of Saddam's tapes reviewed by NBC News show him ruminating about future terror attacks in the United States using weapons of mass destruction. "We shouldn’t be surprised to see a car bomb with nuclear [material] explode [in] Washington, either germ or chemical," Saddam tells aides. "So this is coming,” Saddam says on the tapes, “but not from Iraq," he adds, seeming to indicate that Iraq would not be the source of...

Tonight on the Jonathon Batchelor Show on ABC the guest was John Loftis. He claims to have a CD of over 12 hours of tape recorded conversations from 1988 to 2002 of Saddam Hussein, Tariz Aziz and 30 to 40 other Iraqi leaders talking about WMDs, how they hid them from the UN and a whole host of other tidbits. Loftis said the CD has been validated by the NSA as genuine. He would not go into specifics, only that he called it the BIGGEST STORY OF THE YEAR and will release it on February 18th at the Intelligence Forum...

A former military intelligence analyst, who currently works as a civilian contractor, believes he has found a cache of extremely confidential--and very shocking--audio recordings of Saddam Hussein's office meetings. The audiotapes, which had apparently been overlooked, were found in a warehouse along with many other untranslated Iraqi intelligence files. These tapes are extremely significant, since they may be the best evidence yet of Saddam's secret intentions concerning weapons of mass destruction. Before 9/11, many intelligence experts were convinced that a very strong and important Iraqi WMD connection existed, only to change their minds when no concrete evidence of that connection...

It always seems a little strange to have an Irish Catholic talking about Yom Ha'Shoah. I had an unusual education in the Holocaust. Former justice department prosecutor and intelligence expert John Loftus says that Israel is unable to thwart Iran's nuclear projects through military action – but that there is an alternative. "Israel only has a few option and striking back is not one of 'em," Loftus told Israel National Radio's Tovia Singer. "The F-16-IL version that Israel possesses only has a combat radius of about 2,200 kilometers and you would need about 3,000 to hit the hard targets in Iran. Iran saw what [Israel] did to the Osarik reactor in Iraq and have spread their nuclear development stuff all over the country...

Randy and Ronnell Vorick thought La Habra was about as far away as one could get from terrorism. They were wrong. For the last 2 1/2 weeks, the lives of the couple and their three children have been plunged into an unsettling routine of drivers shouting profanities, stopping to photograph their house and — most recently — spray-painting a slogan on their property. ADVERTISEMENT Their house, a suburban fixer-upper the Voricks bought three years ago, was wrongly identified in a cable news broadcast as the home of a terrorist. "I'm scared to go to work and leave my kids home....

"As a former Justice Department prosecutor, John Loftus once held some of the highest security clearances in the world, with special access to NATO Cosmic, CIA codeword, and Top Secret Nuclear files. As a private attorney, he works without charge to help hundreds of intelligence agents obtain lawful permission to declassify and publish the hidden secrets of our times. He is the author of four history books, three of which have been made into films, two were international best sellers, and one was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize." John Loftus, former Justice Dept. prosecutor just interviewed on Fox. Loftus reports that what set Powell off yesterday were 1,000 pages of Iranian documents and photos from CIA showing Iran has recieved N. Koran nuclear weapon and is fitting it to a missile based upon other technology from N. Korea. Loftus urges US Navy blockade of Iran to make them stop their nuclear program, which he reports is located under an upper-class Iranian suburb to prevent any strikes from the US or Israel. Oy.

John Loftus says that there is a possibility that the Duelfer Report may be amended in light on new information. He says the documents appear to be real, some problems though. Wheeler documents contain invoices for Chemical weapons. The Duelfer report doesn't deal with Libya and Syria. Loftus said that he would vote for that scum sKerry. No real nuggets tonight!

Iran, Israel, and Pakistan all report the capture of Ayman al-Zahrawi. Loftus says that he was captured in Iran yesterday. Loftus speculates that Iran is using him as a barging chip. Again, this is Loftus.

Heard on the John Batchelor radio program tonight: John Loftus claims that documents removed from the National Archives by Sandy Berger contain information about the Clinton administration's hiring members of the Arab Brotherhood (?), an organization with Nazi and Al Qaeda connections, to terrorize Serbs during Clinton's war in the Balkans.

HEAD NOTES:What follows is an exact transcription that I made of the most recent broadcast of The Loftus Report, by John Loftus, a self-proclaimed intelligence expert, which was hosted on The John Batchelor Show on WABC, 770AM out of New York City. There exists a controversy on FR as to whether Loftus represents a reliable source of wartime intelligence. I think he does not, but others disagree. My purpose in posting this thread is that never before has there been a hard documentary record of just exactly what claims he makes, on his nightly report. I was hoping that...

John Loftus on the John Batchelor program says that in spring of 2000, an Al Qaeda defector walked into the Newark, NJ office of the FBI and told them of plans to crash planes into buildings.(After this statement I didn't hear too clearly what was being said, but I believe Loftus said the FBI thought the plot sounded crazy and let the guy go. Loftus said the FBI was sick and tired of people like John O'Neill --who was later to die in the WTC-- constantly warning that Al Qaeda was going to attack; so they didn't want to hear...
