You've got to read it to believe it: After spending the past month retracing our steps and confirming facts, we've come full circle. Our sources continue to maintain that a grand jury has in fact returned an indictment. Our sources said that parts of the indictment were read to Karl Rove and his attorney on Friday, May 12, 2006. Last week, we pointed to a sealed federal indictment, case number "06 cr 128," which is still sealed and we are still pointing to it. During lengthy conversations with our sources over the past month, they reiterated that the substance of...

The Jawa Report has just learned that the following letter was delivered to the White House by Nancy Pelosi on behalf of Cindy Sheehan, Noam Chomsky, and Martin Sheen. Full text is reprinted below. Sounds like the usual stuff from Sheehan, Chomsky, and Sheen.Mr. George Bush, president of the United States of America For some time now, I have been thinking, how one can justify the undeniable contradictions that exist in the international arena -- which are being constantly debated, especially in political forums and amongst university students. Many questions remain unanswered. Those have prompted me to discuss some of...

The Seekers The birth and life of the '9-11 Truth movement' by Jarrett Murphy February 21st, 2006 11:48 AM Essentially, it's all about physics and common sense. Cut steel, and buildings fall. Crash a plane, and the Earth gets scarred. Fire a missile; see a hole. What's up must come down, cause makes effect, and for the truth to set you free, it must be freed itself. It's dark in the basement of St. Mark's Church and dark outside on a mid-December Sunday night, but inside they have seen the light. Among the 100 or so people in the room,...

For the politically correct Bay Area parent, the "Curious George" children's books are a minefield of cultural horrors through which to tiptoe. Imperialism. Animal abuse. Bad parenting.

About 1,000 people gathered in rain-swept Washington, D.C. today at an anti-Bush rally organized by the World Can't Wait, a front group for the Revolutionary Communist Party. Held on the grounds of the Washington Monument, the rally capped a week of activities by the group demanding President Bush leave office immediately because of their opposition to the Iraq war and other Bush policies. The organizers planned for a crowd in the tens of thousands, but as the photos below show, they spent a whole lot of money planning for people who never showed. One woman who did attend the rally made it...

Andrew’s Notepad February 1, 2006 CHICAGO CAN’T WAIT Filed under: Only in America, Liberals — Administrator @ 1:30 am The World Can’t Wait crowd got together tonight at Daley Plaza to rally against the President of the United States. Here are links to mac and windows versions of some footage I shot of the protesters. Quicktime Clip Windows Clip Highlights include my conversation with a self proclaimed revolutionary about her opinion that Bush is a greater threat to our country than AL Qaida because he may provoke a revolution here in America. Oh the irony. Also, the usual suspects of...

Liberals are making noise in Washington – left-wing activists will gather near the Capitol Tuesday night and bang pots and pans to drown out President Bush’s State of the Union address. Last week a group called "World Can't Wait - Drive Out the Bush Regime" was denied a permit to gather on the Mall for security reasons. The group won a federal lawsuit and has been given permission to make noise while Bush speaks to a joint session of Congress. The group's Web site lists Gore Vidal as a member of its Advisory Board and has collected endorsements from left-leaning...

2004 Ohio Precinct-Level Exit Poll Data Show Virtually Irrefutable Evidence of Vote Miscount The National Election Data Archive (NEDA) is the first mathematical team to release a valid scientific analysis of the precinct-level 2004 Ohio presidential exit poll data. NEDA's analysis provides virtually irrefutable evidence of vote miscount. This Is Just Awful Some people call this “free speech.†(Hat tip: William.) UPDATE at 4/12/05 9:14:01 pm: And then, there is this: Secret Service visits art show at Columbia. (Hat tip: NC.) Organizers of a politically charged art exhibit at Columbia College’s Glass Curtain Gallery thought their show might draw controversy. But they didn’t expect two U.S. Secret Service agents would be among the show’s first visitors. The agents turned up Thursday evening, just before the public opening of “Axis of Evil, the Secret History of Sin,†and took pictures of some of the art pieces — including...

DENVER (AP) -- The Secret Service says it is investigating the claims of three people who claim they were removed from President Bush's town hall meeting on Social Security last week after being singled out because of a bumper sticker on their car. The three said they had obtained tickets through the office of Rep. Bob Beauprez, R-Colo., had passed through security and were preparing to take their seats when they were approached by what they thought was a Secret Service agent who asked them to leave. One woman, Karen Bauer, 38, a marketing coordinator from Denver, said Monday the...

SEATTLE - About 500 protesters marched through downtown Seattle Saturday, venting their frustration over President Bush's re-election and calling for United States troops to be pulled out of Iraq. Protesters, organized by the anti-war group Not in Our Name, said they felt compelled to air their beliefs about Iraq and the leadership of a president they feel does not represent their interests. Another protest was planned for Jan. 20, the first day of the president's second term.

San Francisco in no mood for tolerance after Bush win Sun 7 November, 2004 14:13 By Andrea Orr SAN FRANCISCO (Reuters) - The summer of love has given way to the autumn of fear in San Francisco, a liberal stronghold where residents bitterly disappointed by the Bush victory are in no mood to reach out and mend divisions. Rather, they are waving "United States of Canada" maps, redrawn to show Canada extending down to include California, New England and the other so-called "blue states" that voted decisively for Massachusetts Democratic Senator John Kerry in the U.S. presidential race. Some are...
