For a WHILE ; I have been active as much as possible in getting involved with rallies and marches for Conservatives causes: whether in groups like the FREEPERS or others--or even by myself going door to door. There was the " Defend the White House " Rally That I personally thought was the BEST out of all of them !and for personal reason too. I see ALOT of " Picket the SLIMES " Threads here too--( why NOW when they should have been Marched On Months ago--but whatever) So---has anyone here THOUGHT about getting something organized?

It was billed as "A Day Without Immigrants." According to its propagandists, official and media, the purpose of the May Day walkout from schools and jobs and boycott of shops and stores was to show how much immigrants contribute and how they deserve appreciation and respect, and not to be treated like criminals. But if this was all it was about, there would have been no need to go on strike. Americans have always welcomed immigrants. They are better treated here than anywhere on earth. While most Americans believe we now need a timeout to assimilate the 36 million here...

WASHINGTON — With recent well-attended immigration rallies showing the power of the people, a debate has been sparked over why more Americans aren't taking their wariness of the Iraq war to the streets. Numerous events across the globe marked the third anniversary of the Iraq war on March 20. But nowhere in the United States did the numbers of protesters surpass 10,000, according to news reports. That's a far cry from the immigration rallies earlier this month that were said to have attracted 350,000 protesters in Washington, 500,000 in Dallas and 100,000 in Phoenix, plus tens of thousands in many...

PHOENIX — Fearing traffic jams and concerned about their personal safety, legislative leaders have decided to shut down their Monday session early to let legislators and staff flee the Capitol before 100,000 marchers show up. The decision to adjourn by noon came as lawmakers engaged in a war of words over the merits of the march, one of several around the nation pushing for Congress to enact immigration legislation that provides people here illegally a path to citizenship — and whether the event is a slap at this country. Sen. Barbara Leff, R-Paradise Valley, said the march amounts to 100,000...

It's been nearly a month since Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakahan blamed "Zionists and neo-cons" for "manipulating" President Bush into invading Iraq - before blasting "wicked Jews" in Hollywood for promoting "lesbianism [and] homosexuality." Yet, outside of a few newspapers in Chicago, the same press that showers positive coverage on Farrakhan's Million Man marches has yet to get around to covering his Feb. 26 Saviours Day speech. "These neo-cons and Zionists have manipulated Bush and the American government and our boys and girls are dying in Iraq and in Afghanistan for the cause of Israel, not for the cause...

A Bay Area group that supports immigrant workers and opposes citizens who take it upon themselves to patrol the US border with Mexico held a rally Sunday in San Francisco's Mission District to welcome a caravan of migrant worker activists on a 25 city national tour. From San Francisco, the group will travel to Sacramento, then on, across the country, eventually to the nation's capitol where they will lobby legislators to oppose the proposed Border Protection, Antiterrorism, and Illegal Immigration Control Act of 2005 or HR 4437. That bill would expand enforcement of undocumented border crossings and toughen penalties for...

Hello Mr. and Ms. and Mrs. FreeRepublicans of America! This is just a very humble question/comment from a very tired and rookie " political activist " myself, who has always been in AWE over those who are seriously known as " Freepers." It is in no matter meant to be sounded-out like "I" actually know what I am doing myself--but MORE for what YOU ALL can all be helping ME out with much later on down the road. ( and if anyone can help too by maybe placing my POST HERE in the proper thread title AREA so as it...

PHOENIX - About 400 people marched to the state Capitol on Saturday in support of proposed federal legislation to allow college-bound undocumented immigrants to apply for green cards upon high school graduation.

The rally was the first of 50 planned in communities in more than 30 states over the next week in support of the Student Adjustment Act and the Dream Act. The legislation would provide legal residency to students who were brought to the United States as young children, paving the way for them to continue their education and find jobs.

I want to plan a rally, well I am thinking more of a march. I want to organise as many people as possible to march down the streets of San Francisco just as the protestors did, only to support our troops and our president and end it with a rally, speakers and all. I have ideas and plans, but I have never done this and would like help. I can be contacted at kelceyhamilton@hotmail.com. This area needs to know that the only reason they have a right to protest is because soldiers fought and died for thier freedom. I already...
