Brian Kemper's Rock for Life did an outstanding job with classes and gathering many likeminded youth. Hip teenagers EVERYWHERE and MTV didn't cover it. Hmmmmm. I know there is a strong vocal contingent of pro-lifers here on Free Republic. Since I'm relatively new to FR this may have already been done, but would it be possible to meet other FReeper pro-lifers at one central location in Washington DC during the annual March For Life this year? I will be there as usual and I'm sure many of you will be there too. Lets coordinate plans here.

On Tuesday, January 22, 2002, Argee, Teacup, proud2bRC, firebrand, ELS, stand waite, mudpuppy, and teacup met one another before the March for Life in Washington D.C. There was also a youngster whose screen name was, I believe, Catherine the Great, but she didn't write it down and I could be mis-remembering. I offered to start a thread where we could post comments, pictures, whatever. This is that thread. For my own comments, I have four thoughts. FReepers are all nice people, at least the seven I met yesterday were. When you are given a chance to gather as FReepers, you ...

PLAGAL President Cecilia Brown and Vice-President Eric Jurek were at the March for Life for the sole purpose protesting the 1973 Supreme Court decision which legalized abortion-on-demand. They were simply carrying the PLAGAL Banner -- which states the organization's name and "Human Rights ...
