Gun owners insist that they need to carry a concealed weapon that is handguns for self-protection from criminals. Now that is saying that it is not safe for anyone to walk/drive to work at anytime of the day or night without fear of being attacked, robbed, raped, murdered for money etc. I am told that you cannot make any enemies in the United States for fear of being shot. In addition, that the only way of preventing this is to carry with you, a handgun of one form or another. I am also told that a well arm society is...

A few years back, a relative was visiting from out of town and showed us a snapshot. It was his son posing with a new acquaintance. Big smiles all around. The acquaintance was a priest. And he was black. Why carry around this otherwise unremarkable photo and make a show of it? Because the son is a five-alarm racist, and so is his dad -- the guy proudly displaying the snapshot. The subtext here -- about one micron below the surface -- was: "See? A black friend!"

As cousins Travis and Chuckie Jones stroll off the South Broward High campus on school days, they're "gooned out." Wearing oversized T-shirts and low-riding jeans, they mimic the hard core look that gangsta rappers first popularized in the 1990s. The Jones boys' jean shorts, held up by belts, are hanging around their thighs and sag so low that you can't help but see the gym shorts they wear underneath. "I like saggin'," said Travis, a 15-year-old sophomore. For him, wearing baggy, ill-fitting jeans, is cool — and makes a strong statement. It's all about attitude. "It tells everybody to kiss...

(The Whole of Life Explained in 7000 Words)Life and death Life is fleeting. We are only here for a moment, we emerge out of nothing, we shine for an instant in a burst of energy and motion, and then we vanish. What possessions we have acquired pass into other hands and then, eventually, cease themselves to exist. What is the purpose of this brief flash that is life? What, in fact, is life? There are two basic forces at work in the universe. There is a force sometimes referred to as entropy, the process by which all things decay and...

At one press conference, Rep. Maxine Waters, now serving her 9th term in the House of Representatives, declared that under the Out of Iraq Caucus's plan, the United States could remove U.S. troops from Iraq "by August of 1980 [sic."] Then, Rep. Jan Schakowsky of Illinois, reasoning that 1980 had already taken place, said the actual date was August 2008. Rep. Lloyd Doggett suggested that Mr. Bush, "the misleader," was to blame for his colleagues' confusion. Rep. Lynn Woolsey, California Democrat, tried to explain the caucus plan, but stumbled over the chronology of the withdrawal, saying at one point that...

One look at you tells me all I need to know about you. I am so tired of liberals that think they are so brilliant. You are such a stupid jackass. You are so stupid you probably believe that the Bush administration orchestrated the attacks on 9/11. Every time you go on the internet, every time you make a bank transaction, or pay a bill, every time you try to email a congressman or senator they are getting so much information off of you. Of course it is all a conspiracy by the Bush administration. I have screwed around by...

On NBC's "Meet the Press" last Sunday, Rep. John Murtha repeated his call for "redeploying" U.S. troops from Iraq with something new -- and disturbing to fellow Democrats. Asked by moderator Tim Russert about sites for redeployment, Murtha replied: "We can go to Okinawa. ... We can redeploy there almost instantly." When Russert expressed doubt about "a timely response" from Okinawa to meet a Middle East crisis, the 16-term congressman from western Pennsylvania and new national security spokesman for his party stumbled: "Well, it -- you know, they -- when I say Okinawa, I, I'm saying troops in Okinawa. When...

Fellow Americans, there comes a time every mans life when we must give up ourselves before we are worthy to recieve. There comes a time in this war on terror when in order to protect liberty, we have to give it up in the mean time for safty. That's right folks. Today, Americans have forsaken the creator for the creation and have decided that they would value our "civil liberties" than protecting western civilization and rich white people from the tender mercies of radical Islamic terrorists. Selfish liberals insist and whine that Bush has no right to spy on Americans...

After reading all of the crap that people have been saying regarding Adult Private Social Clubs, I felt that I had to post an article and give my opinion. I am sick and tired of all the religous groups that are saying that there are drugs, prostitution, minors, non-consenting people, and just immoral people at these clubs! First of all, who do these people think they are to decide what is morally right or wrong for me? I believe that I have a good set of morals. I am a law abiding, tax paying citizen, I work full time and...

Thibodaux, Louisiana (AHN) - A Louisiana woman now faces charges after calling 911 to complain that her onion rings were cold. She summoned police to the Malt-N-Burger Wednesday night where officers arrested her. 30-year-old Sharita Williams was irate over the temperature of her food, the Thibodauz Daily Comet reported. Williams told police the food was cold when she received it and the attendant refused to replace it with a new order, the report says. At that point, Williams dialed 911. She was arrested and issued a summons for misuse of the 911 system. She was released and given a December...

A bipartisan group of senators has attacked the president's intention to veto any legislation that includes Sen. John McCain's so-called anti-torture amendment. They claim that failure to make clear U.S. interrogation policy tarnishes not only our international standing, but also subverts the very idea of America.

Those are the words that America is waiting to hear from President Bush. At a time of crisis and enormous need, it should be an easy decision for him to make. He could make the announcement tomorrow. The following are excerpts from an interview with Egyptian professor Abd Al-Sabour Shahin, which aired on Saudi Channel 1 on August 8, 2005. Shahin: Our enemies weave many lies about us, which we are not necessarily aware of. For example: One day, we awoke to the crime of 9/11, which hit the tallest buildings in New York, the Empire State Building (sic). There is no doubt that not a single Arab or Muslim had anything to do with these events. The incident was fabricated as a pretext to attack Islam and Muslims. The plan was to take over the world's...

JAMINE ALABRE All in small bills. A crafty 25-year-old employee of a Long Island marketing firm managed to swindle more than a million dollars in cash by steadily sneaking small bills out of the office, police said. She blew nearly all of the $1,119,807 she stole in casinos, on home payments, and splurging on two cars that she paid for in cash, cops said. Over a two-year period, account coordinator Jamine Alabre, 25, of Westbury, smuggled the money out of the Uniondale offices of IPSOS, a firm that conducts market-research surveys and public-opinion polls. Many argue that communism will never be possible because of "human nature". The essence of this false argument is the belief that a communist society would consist of an all-powerful central government that would tell everybody what to do--and would therefore undermine the creative initiative of individuals and the search for happiness. • This argument is based on two false assumptions: (1) It assumes that a communist society will look like the former Soviet Union, or the current China, North Korea, etc (ie: corrupt police states with a feudal-style ruling class) (2) It assumes that people will only work in...

At the risk of noting the obvious, Sunday's deadly confrontation between a semiautomatic weapon-wielding Minnesotan and a group of hunters in northern Wisconsin can and should be factored into debates about the availability of semiautomatic and automatic weapons. When hunters in Sawyer County confronted the Minnesotan - a 36-year-old Hmong immigrant named Chai Vang who was in a deer stand on private property and told him that he would have to leave - several of the greatest myths that are peddled by opponents of gun control exploded. To wit: • Myth One: A semiautomatic weapon is just another kind of gun.When...

Expelled from Northeastern University for vandalizing cars after the Super Bowl, a Maine man may now face expulsion from Boston University in the wake of his arrest Saturday before the Red Sox World Series parade. ``We have a long and consistent record of holding students accountable for their conduct on or off campus,'' BU spokesman Colin Riley said yesterday about 21-year-old student Daniel Rosquete. Rosquete could also be sent to jail today if a Roxbury District Court judge determines he violated the terms of his probation from his Super Bowl case. Rosquete was tossed from Northeastern after he was identified...

Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry traveled by bus across Ohio Friday. Kerry held a "front porch" discussion at the home a laid-off worker in Newark. Kerry spoke to about 75 people in a neighborhood of modest, one-story homes and then later held a campaign rally in the town described as a mix between blue- and white-collar workers. A Kerry spokeswoman says Newark was chosen in part because it has lost jobs, making it a good place for Kerry to tout his program for creating new ones. Kerry told people they had to be part of the solution and not get...

Former Vermont governor says American people should know the true intentions behind Bush administration's agenda (July 25, 2003) Des Moines, IA--Former Vermont Governor Howard Dean made the following statement today while campaigning in Iowa:"When George W. Bush ran for president three years ago, he promised us an era of responsibility in Washington--instead we've got an era of irresponsibility unparalleled in our history. A week after discovering that the cost of occupying Iraq will be double the original estimates, we found out that the nation's deficit is 50 percent higher than estimated just five months ago. In fact, during his two-and-a-half...

Tuesday, November 19, was truly [1] a black, black day for this nation and one I never dreamed would happen here.

I remember vividly as a child watching Nikita Khrushchev standing at the UN beating his shoe against the podium and shouting that they (the then Soviet Union) would take us over without firing a shot. Little did we know or ever dream then that the Soviet Union would fall but that a truly [2] evil man from Texas and his equally evil regime from Cheney on down would take us over from within and that the Democrats would completely collapse before our eyes and help him do it. This truly [3] began with the stolen election of 2000.

Sorry for the vanity post, but I was just counting the money in my wallet when I started to sneeze. Then it hit me: The terrorists are going to use our money against us!We all know how badly infested our paper money is normally. What has been the premise all along of our Russian "partners"? Remember how they...
