Anonymous law enforcement officials have told the Merced County News website that not only was Faisal Muhammed, the UC Mercer attacker, on a federal terror watch list, but officials at the school had been warned that an attack might occur. ........... A witness who wishes to remain anonymous stated that they had seen what appeared to be a picture of an ISIS flag which was pulled out of the suspect’s pocket. Two of my law enforcement sources have verified that this is in fact true

Kirsten Powers hit back hard against those who are trying to make this Benghazi story about it being politicized by Republicans, saying that if nobody can cover it because it’s being politicized, then nothing in Washington can ever be covered.

One of the mainstream media journalists whose pursuit of the truth has been truly tenacious and nonpartisan is CBS News' Sharyl Attkisson. Her tough reporting has made life difficult for everyone from Hillary Clinton to the Bush administration and Congressional Republicans. She's also been relentless on the Obama administration's Fast & Furious gun-running scandal -- and, of course, Benghazi. As we mentioned this week, Attkisson's tough investigative journalism is starting to bother unnamed CBS News executives. Here's Politico's scoop, in case you missed it: But from where Attkisson is sitting, there are actually two Goliaths, one of which is almost...

Here comes the Washington Post today, claiming that the reason Obama “could” lose the election is racism. I want to tell you a story about what it was like working in a consulting firm here in Chicago. We had a very nasty VP at the firm who was the old school, screaming and yelling type; the guy was a real ogre. The firm would pitch to about three big clients a month…in deals that would be 100 million+ and would typically take several months of research to put together all the proposals and materials to make a successful bid for...

WASHINGTON — Top military officials have continued to rely on a secret network of private spies who have produced hundreds of reports from deep inside Afghanistan and Pakistan, according to American officials and businessmen, despite concerns among some in the military about the legality of the operation. Earlier this year, government officials admitted that the military had sent a group of former Central Intelligence Agency officers and retired Special Operations troops into the region to collect information — some of which was used to track and kill people suspected of being militants. Many portrayed it as a rogue operation that...

This week, newscasters reported that al Qaeda's #2 terrorist disparaged the election of Barack Obama, and hurled racial slurs at Obama himself. "The report has not been confirmed by the State Department," they all said, but they reported it anyway. Last week, Fox News reporter Carl Cameron told viewers that three "anonymous" insiders of Sen. McCain's campaign said that Sarah Palin was, in essence, a diva and a dunce. He - and dozens of others who picked up the story on other channels - never identified, or even verified, the sources of the quotes, but they reported them anyway. Contrast...

The civil liberty activist says news media must realize democracies are in a no-win situation Author and civil rights attorney Alan Dershowitz called on the American news media Wednesday to take greater stock of the way international terrorists fight their wars by deliberately putting civilians in harm's way. Dershowitz, who met with the Houston Chronicle editorial board, was in Houston for a speech arranged by the Holocaust Museum Houston titled, "Is There a New Anti-Semitism?" A commentator on wide-ranging issues that involve Israel, the war on terror and civil liberties, Dershowitz said that today's terrorists have a new way of...

The Pentagon says it is fully cooperating with a brand new investigation into allegations of prisoner abuse at Guantanamo Bay. The allegations come from a Marine Corps sergeant, 23-year-old Heather Cerveny, who spent a week at the base in late September as a legal aide to a military lawyer representing detainees. In a sworn affidavit filed with the Pentagon Inspector General, Sgt. Cerveny says she met several Navy prison guards at a club on the base where, over d

KATHARINE GRAHAM, the publisher of The Washington Post who died in 2001, backed her editors through tense battles during the Watergate era. But in a 1986 speech, she warned that the media sometimes made "tragic" mistakes. Her example was the disclosure, after the bombing of the American embassy in Beirut in 1983, that American intelligence was reading coded radio traffic between terrorist plotters in Syria and their overseers in Iran. The communications stopped, and five months later they struck again, destroying the Marine barracks in Beirut and killing 241 Americans. "This kind of result, albeit unintentional, points up the necessity...

Helen Thomas is an 85-year-old veteran American journalist. Thomas who started as a White House correspondent during John F. Kennedy’s tenure, has been working in this profession for 62 years. Thomas has another title: The American journalist who is the most outspoken critic of the US Iraq invasion. She describes George W. Bush as “the worst president in US history.” Thomas, who has had close relations with US presidents since Kennedy, was also on friendly terms with Father Bush. However, she continually has negative views about the Son of Bush. Thomas, who was always in the front row at press...

Fatal Error Deepens Mistrust of U.S. Philadelphia Inquirer July 6, 2005 Farqad Mohammed Khinaisar was driving to work in her dark-green Kia Sephia at 8 a.m. May 29 when she came up behind three U.S. humvees that were about to enter a traffic circle in Baghdad's Sadiya neighborhood. As Khinaisar approached, a gunshot was heard from the third humvee. The soldiers at the rear of the convoy thought they had seen a suicide bomber, Lt. Col. David Funk said, and they fired a warning shot, then kept firing. Khinaisar, a 57-year-old high school Arabic teacher, was shot once in the...

"Hello Everyone, I am taking time to ask you all for your help. First off, I'd like to say that this is not a political message. I'm not concerned about domestic politics right now. We have much bigger things to deal with, and we need your help. It seems that despite the tremendous and heroic efforts of the men and women serving here in Iraq to bring much needed peace and stability to this region, we are losing the war of perception with the media and American people. Our enemy has learned that the key to defeating the mighty American...

A letter I wrote to MSNBC, we all should send similar letters to other treasonous media outlets-- There is an extraordinary level of liberal bias on your network. Why can't you sublimate you liberal partisanship in favor of the national interest? It would please the vast majority of Americans if you had a lonely reporter or commentator who ostensibly wished for an American victory. I know you want George Bush to be defeated in 2004, but must you try to turn public opinion against a just war? Why can't your reporters put their ideology on pause and just pretend for...
