  • Blockbuster film director Michael Bay charged with killing a pigeon

    01/14/2023 5:43:46 PM PST · by BenLurkin · 36 replies
Italian authorities are claiming Bay’s film crew killed a homing pigeon with a dolly on the set of his 2019 Netflix movie, “6 Underground,” in Rome. An unnamed crew member purportedly snapped a photo and reported it to authorities. Bay has attempted to clear his name multiple times. According to EU law, pigeons are protected under the “Bird Directive” which makes it illegal to kill, capture, or harm wild birds.

Michael Bay's 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi is a fantastic film, no less excellent for its surprisingly subtle political commentary. Far better than any direct attack ad, this film blasts President Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton while telling a compelling story of terror and heroism. Cinekatz reviewer Vivek Subramanyam declared that "Michael Bay was born to make this movie." Despite its hyperbole, this statement captures the combination of the action director behind "Transformers" and the tragic but thrilling tale of the September 11, 2012 terror attacks in Benghazi, Libya. The film, based on the Mitchell...

  • Michael Bay: Megan Fox Fired for Hitler Comment [Bimbo Babbles, Gets Bounced]

In May 2010, as production geared up for the third installment in the "Transformers" franchise, Megan Fox's publicist released this statement. “Megan Fox will not be starring in Transformers 3, It was her decision not to return. She wishes the franchise the best.” Well, that statement may not jive with reality. "Transformers" director Michael Bay recently told the Daily Mail that Fox was fired from the production after she gave an interview comparing Bay to Hitler. The comparison, to put it mildly, did not sit well with executive producer Steven Spielberg. "You know the Hitler thing?" said Bay. "Steven said,...

Three of Michael Bay's crew members asked his website last night to post their response to Megan Fox's recent insults of the director made to a magazine for her upcoming Jennifer's Body. (She accused Bay of wanting to "be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he’s a nightmare to work for.") Now the crew get even and detail why she's the nightmare. I love when there's honesty in Hollywood. Remember what the crew did to Bruce Willis way back when?: This is an open letter to all Michael Bay fans. We are three crew members that have...
  • Obama strokes Michael Bay's ego, so the director puts the prez in Transformers 2 (BAAAAAAARRRRRRFFF)

Would you believe President Obama called Michael Bay, director of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, "a big-ass director"? Neither would we, but the director insists it happened. And to return the favor, Bay put the new prez in his upcoming giant-robot movie. OK, not exactly: He put references to the real-life president into the story, including images on a few background TV monitors. But the message is clear: If giant robots fight on Earth, Bay wants Obama in the Oval Office. In a press conference Friday in Beverly Hills, Calif., Bay explained that he was inspired to put Obama in...

On leaving a theater, have you ever been tempted to yell at the other moviegoers, "Hey, guys: Do ya get it? Do you know what this is about?" That's what I wanted to do when the lights came up and the credits started to roll for Michael Bay's just-released sci-fi block-buster "The Island." "Cloning! Embryonic stem cell research! Abortion! Euthanasia!" I wanted to shout. Still, "The Island's" pro-life message is unmistakable. Liberal critics are grumbling about it. Writing in the Hollywood Reporter, Kirk Honeycutt complains that "These filmmakers have, perhaps unwittingly, delivered a film certain to give succor to the...
