After nearly four years in office, many Americans still express frustration that much about Barack Obama remains a mystery as establishment media remain incurious about the Democratic president, while seemingly ready to dispatch crack investigative teams at a moment’s notice to probe into the personal lives of Republican figures such as Sarah Palin. Largely ignored in 2008 was research by the Hillary Clinton campaign based on contacts developed with members of the church Obama attended for two decades, Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. This is the first of a series of articles WND has developed from months of...

My Sister-in-Law is experiencing some serious medical difficulties at the moment, with very high BP and partial kidney shutdown. While the doctors are unsure of the problem, her Calcium levels are all over and they are trying to get her electrolytes stable. Please pray for her, and the whole family. In addition, my oldest granddaughter and great granddaughter are facing a different sort of trial, with Social Services in the middle of things, all based on a wild rumor. Please pray that they are reunited and the matter is favorably resolved.

A lady from my church commented on Facebook this evening and I just happened to catch it - it was in regards to a medical condition called PANDAS. I know that one of her kids has an obscure medical condition but I don't know the particulars. So,I read the big long story* on Facebook (Short version - child has PANDAS & gets sick. Parents take child to Boston Childrens Hospital. Hospital is acting strangely. Child Protective Services takes control of child. Prelim hearing gives temporary custody to State. Child is still hospitalized.) I did "Bing" searches on most names given,...
  • Why Do Gangsters Aim Their Guns Sideways? Marine Marksman Sheds Light On Gangbanger Tactics

So why do gangsters aim their guns sideways? Marine marksman sheds light on how gunmen from the 'hood unwittingly use a well-known aiming technique It's an iconic image immortalised in dozens of Hollywood gangster films: the gangster aiming down the side of his pistol before pumping a volley of bullets into his victim. But with most people knowing that the aiming sights are found on the top of a gun barrel, it's also a counter-intuitive way to accurately fire a weapon. So why is it that gangsters are always shown using their guns in this way? According to Jon Davis,...

As a young single woman, Michelle Robinson was a fixture in the home of civil rights leader Jesse Jackson, who along with Rev. Jeremiah Wright “arranged” her marriage to Barack Obama, according to sources in Chicago who know the couple. Jackson’s daughter, Santita, is still one of Michelle’s best friends. “It all relates back to Trinity and to the Jesse Jackson orbit of blacks here in Chicago who gave Obama legitimacy and helped him establish his identity as a black man,” Robyn explained. “The political left wanted to push a black to the presidency, and the key operatives in the...

Obviously, Romney won last night’s debate. His passion, charisma, energy, eye-contact, personality, force of argument, and earnest compassion showed through and contrasted with a washed out, tired, hesitant Obama. But seeing the debate from a professional’s eye, Romney scored a number of key victories in the turf wars that underlie this campaign. These victories are likely to last and shape the final month of this race long after the glow from Romney’s performance has faded. 1. Romney got out from under Obama’s character assassination negative ads. By failing to raise the Cayman Islands bank account, the 47% speech, Bain Capital...

Watching this video, I have to ask, do we really understand gravity? When we release an object from our hands, it falls. Right? Not always? Or at least, not right away? Veritasium has put some pretty cool videos to explain how science and physics work. They have been working with slinkies on a number of videos (and you thought your kid didn’t have any potential at 3 years old), this video seems to capture the essences of their work. So listening to a couple of science guys explain this, does this give one a solid enough understanding why that darn...

Did the first presidential debate do anything to influence who you will support in the election? Yes. It made me more likely to vote for Mitt Romney. Yes. It made me more likely to vote for Barack Obama. No, I feel the same way I did before the debate. Did last night's debate in any way change your preference in the Presidential race? Yes No Who do you think won the debate over Medicare? Obama. He defended his achievements and challenged Romney's plan as unworkable. Romney. He was aggressive and put Obama on the defensive on Medicare. Neither. Both were...

First, Iran's currency has effectively imploded; our inflationary games along with our "sanction" regime has caused a 20% daily drop in the Iranian currency value against the dollar. This volatility in turn led to the disappearance of convertibility (duh!) which in turn means that things like food suddenly become very hard to obtain, even if you are putatively wealthy. Second, Syria and Turkey are having a little dust-up that could turn very not little in a hurry. If you don't understand why this is important please get out a map and have a look at some of the potential problems...

Please don’t think that Brazil is an overly dangerous place. I went twice for a month each time and nothing dangerous ever happened. But I was aware of my surroundings and I had expert guides in the form of local residents. Without them I am sure I would not have been as safe or seen as much as I did. I am writing about the danger I experienced in Brazil because it exposed what happens when a whole society is left to it’s own devices and the chaos/order that develops. In other words it provided a glimpse into the end...

Just sent 50 bucks to Todd Akin. I think he can win this thing!! If he gets in he won't owe the Republican establishment SQUAT! I don't have a lot of money but if it means repealing Obamacare then 50 bucks doesn't sound like a whole lot after all.

Tens of millions of Americans just saw how fumbling, bumbling, unprepared, and stupid Obama is without a teleprompter. Is this how he appears when meeting privately with world leaders? Do they roll over him as easily as Romney did when he is only really in their nation for a vacation and date with his wife?

Romney certainly had a spendid debate performance, but the back-and-forth quibbling over Romney wanting 5 trillion in new tax cuts over and above the Bush tax cuts, then Romney saying no he doesn't support that, then Obama saying yes you do, then Romney "no I don't," etc, etc - it all still left me with the central question: If Romney is elected president, will he cut taxes for upper-income earners over and above the Bush tax cuts. Yes or no? Romney can answer that and we can look back over his past statements on the matter - those during the...
