Excerpts: "On a related note, Monckton also is accusing Google of playing dirty tricks with Internet searches. A popular Internet video featuring the noted climate skeptic was allegedly "buried" beneath junk searches on the popular Internet search engine Google." Monckton says Google knowingly hid the video that featured him discussing the dangers of signing a climate treaty in Copenhagen later this month. [...] He adds that Al Gore serves as an advisor on Google's board.

Via Jim Neidner at BlogTalk Radio. A lot of ink has been spilled, or bites used, as it were, railing against Cap and Tax. But the ghost of Christmas future in the form of Lord Monkton tells us that the real scourge of the left is the Copenhagen Treaty. If signed by Obama and ratified by the Senate, the treaty would subject our country to the tyranny of an unelected World Government that would control all businesses in the developed world and, in the process, bring our economy and our freedom to their knees. This is a great video. Spread...

We are many that are wondering why the climate meeting in Copenhagen Denmark is still going to happen when the top scientists from the IPCC have been caught red handed manipulating scientific data and threatening other scientists that did not buy the official story about climate change. As a Dane, I remember we where taught in school that the Vikings went to Greenland and the reason why it is call GREENland is because at the time of the MWP the land was green and the vikings farmed wheat. I am not aware if there are farmers on Greenland at the...

Both Steve McIntyre and I are mentioned in this comprehensive summary. I’ve posted some excerpts below, with a link to the full report in PDF form. It is well worth a read. – Anthony Cold facts about the hot topic of global temperature change after the Climategate scandal THE WHISTLE BLOWS FOR TRUTH The whistleblower deep in the basement of one of the ugly, modern tower-blocks of the dismal, windswept University of East Anglia could scarcely have timed it better. In less than three weeks, the world’s governing class – its classe politique – would meet in Copenhagen, Denmark, to...

Climate Change: Major U.S. corporations have set up a Web site calling for a global climate treaty to be signed in Copenhagen. Considering recent evidence of massive climate fraud, perhaps they should reconsider. Many will remember the classic soft drink ad campaign where young people from many nations gather on a mountaintop and sing that they'd like to buy the world a Coke, the theory being that sharing a soda was the key to world peace. That sort of naivete has led peoples and governments around the world to accept at face value the outright fraud perpetrated by the Milli...

This is what they did — these climate “scientists” on whose unsupported word the world’s classe politique proposes to set up an unelected global government this December in Copenhagen, with vast and unprecedented powers to control all formerly free markets, to tax wealthy nations and all of their financial transactions, to regulate the economic and environmental affairs of all nations, and to confiscate and extinguish all patent and intellectual property rights. The tiny, close-knit clique of climate scientists who invented and now drive the “global warming” fraud — for fraud is what we now know it to be — tampered...

Control: The House and Senate climate bills contain a provision giving the president extraordinary powers in the event of a "climate emergency." As chief of staff Rahm Emanuel says, a crisis is a terrible thing to waste. If you thought the House health care bill that nobody read has hidden passages that threaten our freedoms and liberty, take a peak at the "trigger" placed in the byzantine innards of both the House-passed Waxman-Markey bill and the Kerry-Boxer bill just passed by Democrats out of Sen. Barbara Boxer's Environment and Public Works Committee. As Nick Loris of the Heritage Foundation points...

Even in draft form, the Copenhagen treaty provides solid evidence that the U.N. has a very different idea about what lies in the best interests of the United States than most Americans would. In fact, I submit that the treaty doesn't have the best interests of the United States in mind at all. Even if the treaty's language is much watered down by December, one can be sure of two things. First, some language will remain that would have negative implications or consequences for the United States. Second, the treaty will be the foot in the door the U.N. needs...

Lord Monckton is certainly the new poster boy for people who do not buy into the power grab that is global warming. I just came across this video of Lord Monckton speaking at Accuracy In Media's 40th anniversary on Oct. 23rd. Among other things he says that it would take the entire planet 200 years of a stone age economy with NO fires in our caves to make a tiny diff' to global warming. He goes on to talk about the Copenhagen treaty. Here is the video Lord Monckton speaking at A.I.M.I'll try and get a transcript up later.

Obama plans to cede US sovereignty to a newly created world government; so claimed British Lord Christopher Monckton last week during a lecture in Minnesota. In this bonus episode of Fightin Words, Walter Hudson is interviewed on Sentinel Radio by Arlen Williams regarding how the story broke, its scope, and the conspicuous lack of coverage by the mainstream media (with the notable exception of Glenn Beck). Click through for the podcast, if interested. Thanks, and have a nice day.

Those who read my previous article on Right Side News, or who have now seen the video of Lord Monckton's October 14th lecture at Bethel University, will already know that his message now extends beyond the global warming lie itself. Rather his Lordship is busily sounding an alarm about where that lie will shortly take us if we do not act quickly to stop it. Beck and Monckton clearly have an easy conversational rapport. The two have spoken in the past, and both possess an excellent sense of humor. A few humorous moments aside, though, the seriousness of the subject...

I heard, on my local talk show station today, a speech by a "Lord Christopher Munton"? I don't know if I have spelled the name correctly and I don't know where the speech was given but .. It was a Wake Up call for me! I heard it on my local WRVA 1140am station. The speech was about Obama giving away our soreventy <--(I give up, can't spell it) It was about something to do with World Warming and some World Organization overriding our constitution. I want to find a video of the speech but I can't unless I can...

... Six or seven times as much outgoing radiation is escaping to space per unit change in sea surface temperature as the UN’s models predicted. This is a discrepancy of astonishing magnitude. But perhaps the most astonishing thing about this analysis is that no one had thought of performing it before it was carried out by Professor Richard Lindzen at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Lindzen’s results are as close to a direct measurement of climate sensitivity as it is possible to get. Measurement is a brilliantly simple method, unquestionably superior to projection based on assumption. In any rational world,...

Lord Monckton is one of the few people who has thorough familiarity with a recently completed draft of the treaty President Obama will sign in Copenhagen in just a matter of weeks. He does not mince words about what he has found in the course of his reading of the document. The treaty is not just a foot in the door for one-world government. It IS communist, one-world government. And because of the high regard in which our Constitution holds foreign treaties, this document, if ratified by Congress, would supercede the Constitution. The treaty will, of course, be signed under...

The Minnesota Free Market Institute hosted an event at Bethel University in St. Paul on Wednesday evening. Keynote speaker Lord Christopher Monckton, former science adviser to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, gave a scathing and lengthy presentation, complete with detailed charts, graphs, facts, and figures which culminated in the utter decimation of both the pop culture concept of global warming and the credible threat of any significant anthropomorphic climate change. A detailed summary of Monckton’s presentation will be available here once compiled. However, a segment of his remarks justify immediate publication. If credible, the concern Monckton speaks to may well...

Oct. 16, 2009) — One world government, ruled by heartless and godless Marxists might be here sooner than you think. And the objectives of international Communists might explain all the money and power behind putting Obama into power. But the mechanism for establishing this one world Marxist government has only recently been revealed: The Copenhagen Treaty on Climate Change. So says Lord Christopher Monckton, former science adviser to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, who, according to Fightin’ Words Blog, gave a scathing critique of the treaty at the recent Minnesota Freemarket Institute Conference: Here are some excerpts of Lord Monckton’s...

Most aware Americans have heard the debate on Global Warming. Now known as Climate Change as it has been proven that global temperatures are dropping and sea surface temperatures drop and warming can no longer be used. Many of us are aware that there is going to be a treaty conference hosted by the UN in Copenhagen in December of this year. According to Lord Christopher Monckton, this is nothing at all good for America. Over the weekend he gave a speech to Minnesota Free Market Institute where he claimed that the Treaty to be signed there would give up...

'House Democrats don't want Gore humiliated' Climate Depot Exclusive Washington DC -- UK's Lord Christopher Monckton, a former science advisor to Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, claimed House Democrats have refused to allow him to appear alongside former Vice President Al Gore at high profile global warming hearing on Friday April 24, 2009 at 10am in Washington. Monckton told Climate Depot that the Democrats rescinded his scheduled joint appearance at the House Energy and Commerce hearing on Friday. Monckton said he was informed that he would not be allowed to testify alongside Gore when his plane landed from England Thursday...

From: The Viscount Monckton of Brenchley 30 March 2009 The Hon. Representative Ed Markey, and The Hon. Representative Joe Barton, Committee on Energy and Commerce, US House of Representatives, Washington, DC. Gentlemen, Questions raised by the Subcommittee on Energy & Environment I am most grateful for the fairness and good humor with which Chairman Markey conducted the hearing of 26 March 2009 on the question of adaptation to “global warming”. The calibre, commitment, and concern of Hon. Gentleladies and Gentlemen on both sides of the House were self-evident. However, my notes of the hearing indicate that certain national and international...

Willie Soon, a Harvard University astrophysicist and geophysicist with scores of peer-reviewed papers and books to his credit, said he is “embarrassed and puzzled” by the shallow science in papers asserting the Earth faces a climate crisis caused by global warming. Soon told the second International Conference on Climate Change on March in New York City, “We have a system [of peer reviewing scientific literature] that is truly, truly appalling.” Soon’s criticisms echoed an earlier presentation at the 2-1/2-day conference that was attended by about 700 scientists, economists, and policymakers considering the issue of “Global Warming: Was it ever really...

... I warn this honorable House that any proposal to inflict billions of dollars of new taxation on all citizens by charging selectively-disfavored industries for arbitrarily-rationed permits to emit a harmless and beneficial trace gas that is necessary to all life on Earth and has little effect on its surface temperature will fall cruelly and disproportionately upon the poor, will threaten their very lives, will gravely diminish the liberty that is the glory of your great nation, will render difficult if not unlawful the pursuit of happinessy ...

The scare: In March 2009, Hans-Joachim Schellnhuber, director of a grandsounding pressure-group called the “Potsdam Institute for Climate ImpactResearch”, said that “global warming” of 7 Fahrenheit degrees would wipe out all but1 billion of Earth’s 7 billion human population. Mr. Schellnhuber said, “In a very cynical way, it’s a triumph for science, because at last we have stabilized something – namely the estimate of the carrying capacity of the planet – fewer than 1 billion people.” The planet, of course, is somehow currently carrying seven times that number. The previous month, Dr. James Hansen of NASA had predicted that “global...

Dear Senator McCain, Sir, YOU CHOSE a visit to a wind-farm in early summer 2008 to devote an entire campaign speech to the reassertion of your belief in the apocalyptic vision of catastrophic anthropogenic climate change - a lurid and fanciful account of imagined future events that was always baseless, was briefly exciting among the less thoughtful species of news commentators and politicians, but is now scientifically discredited.

We are a little late to the party, but it is worth adding a few words now that our favourite amateur contrarian is at it again. As many already know, the Forum on Physics and Society (an un-peer-reviewed newsletter published by the otherwise quite sensible American Physical Society), rather surprisingly published a new paper by Monckton that tries again to show using rigorous arithmetic that IPCC is all wrong and that climate sensitivity is negligible. His latest sally, like his previous attempt, is full of the usual obfuscating sleight of hand, but to save people the time in working it...

Climate Sensitivity ReconsideredBy Christopher Monckton of Brenchley AbstractThe Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC, 2007) concluded that anthropogenic CO2 emissions probably caused more than half of the “global warming” of the past 50 years and would cause further rapid warming. However, global mean surface temperature has not risen since 1998 and may have fallen since late 2001. The present analysis suggests that the failure of the IPCC’s models to predict this and many other climatic phenomena arises from defects in its evaluation of the three factors whose product is climate sensitivity: Radiative forcing ΔF; The no-feedbacks climate sensitivity parameter κ; and...

The Viscount Monckton of Brenchley has penned a letter to the President of the American Physical Society demanding that an offensive disclaimer to one of his papers be removed from the APS website or justified to his satisfaction. And he's also expecting a well deserved apology for the horrendous mistreatment the Society has recently subjected him to. First, the editors of APS newsletter Physics and Society invited Lord Monckton to present them a paper explaining his disagreement with the AGW findings of the IPCC. And the former science advisor to Margaret Thatcher happily accepted the offer, submitting a brilliant, must...

Here's something unlikely to make the cover of Time. From the Science & Public Policy Institute: WASHINGTON (7-15-08) — Mathematical proof that there is no "climate crisis" appears today in a major, peer-reviewed paper in Physics and Society, a learned journal of the 10,000-strong American Physical Society, SPPI reports. Christopher Monckton, who once advised Margaret Thatcher, demonstrates via 30 equations that computer models used by the UN's climate panel (IPCC) were pre-programmed with overstated values for the three variables whose product is "climate sensitivity" (temperature increase in response to greenhouse-gas increase), resulting in a 500-2000% overstatement of CO2's effect on...
