    JACKSON, Miss. - Trial lawyer John Arthur Eaves Jr. dropped out of the Mississippi governor's race Tuesday, leaving Gov. Ronnie Musgrove without a big-name opponent in the Democratic primary. John Arthur Eaves Jr. said the campaign was taking too much time away from his family. He did not immediately endorse Musgrove or any of the four lesser-known Democratic candidates. Musgrove campaign manager Lisa McMurray said the campaign wished Eaves luck in his future endeavors.
