Donald Trump tweeted a blatantly anti-Semitic image Saturday morning, causing an immediate backlash online and further confirming the Republican nominee is willing to sink to depths well beyond usual, acceptable bounds of politics. The tweet, posted at roughly 8:30 a.m., featured a picture of Hillary Clinton pasted over a backdrop of $100 bills with a six-pointed star — the Jewish Star of David — next to her face. “Most Corrupt Candidate Ever!” the star read. THE HUFFINGTON POST This is not a dog whistle. It’s not subtle. It is anti-Semitic imagery aimed at a candidate who isn’t even Jewish.

"....................All this tells a considerable amount about what passes for the unremarkable inside the Washington establishment. For Feehery spends his time continually attacking conservatives. There was this open letter attack on Rush Limbaugh in Politico in which he snarked:Congratulations! You have been selected by the Obama administration, the mainstream media and 20 million of your most passionate followers to be the new head of the Republican Party. As such, you are given all the rights and responsibilities that come with being a true political leader.Your mission is simple: Restore the Republican Party to its former greatness by single-handedly helping Republicans to...

Hey, remember how the biggest story in every mainstream media outlet yesterday was the shattering revelation that House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) spoke to a group with ties to the odious white supremacist David Duke in 2002? Ancillary stories blossomed with lightning speed throughout the day, spreading across the front pages like fractal patterns blooming on a computer screen saver: the latest comments from Scaliese, reactions from other Republican leaders, calls for his doom from top Democrats, hard-hitting political analysis from veteran correspondents about whether the embattled Republican could possibly survive this devastating scandalHave you checked the big news...

In Wisconsin, dozens of conservative groups and allies of Gov. Scott Walker are undergoing political intimidation from the left at the hands of a special prosecutor. Subpoenas have been issued demanding correspondence and donor information of right-leaning organizations and individuals and raids have been conducted resulting in law enforcement officers taking computers and files in a secret investigation, according to reports. In recent weeks, special prosecutor Francis Schmitz has hit dozens of conservative groups with subpoenas demanding documents related to the 2011 and 2012 campaigns to recall Governor Walker and state legislative leaders, the Wall Street Journal writes.

MK Orit Strook (Bayit Yehudi) responded to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's hinted attack on her party with a counterattack Saturday night. "The taste of the Likud's mudslinging campaign has not yet dissipated," she wrote on her Facebook page. "It would be proper for Likud to apologize before the religious Zionist settlement enterprise instead of moralizing to it. "Instead of wondering about our Zionist, values-based connection with Yesh Atid, Likud would do better to explain to its voters the justification of joining with Tzipi Livni and Amir Peretz of all people." Prime Minister Netanyahu hinted Saturday that Bayit Yehudi was engaged...

On Thursday's NBC Today, co-host Ann Curry predicted that following his strong finish in Iowa, Rick Santorum was "about to face the meat grinder of tough scrutiny for the first time." Turning to Meet the Press host David Gregory, she wondered: "So is he going to have to change his conservative message as he's looking...into New Hampshire, which is a much less conservative state, David?" Gregory suggested some lines of attack: "Well, he's going to be under a very intense scrutiny by the other could go back about apparent contradictions between small government conservativism and some of his activism....
  • The truth of the matter is that Herman Cain was only guilty of the following

Now that both political establishments and the media has driven Herman Cain from the race for the GOP Nomination with empty allegations, that did not measure up to any smell test, the truth of the matter is that Cain was driven from the race because he was not part of the political elite class on both sides along with the media that has selected out candidates since 1993. When Cain first entered the race, both political establishments asked, "Why was he even in the race having never held public office," but even as his unconventional campaign started to appeal to...

ATLANTA (AP) -- Herman Cain is still campaigning for president. But by most measures, his White House bid is all but over. His standing in polls is cratering. Supporters are wavering if not fleeing. Fundraising is suffering. And, these days, the former pizza company executive is less a serious candidate than the butt of late-night comedy jokes after a string of accusations of sexually inappropriate behavior and, now, an allegation of a 13-yearlong extramarital affair."His chance at winning the presidency are effectively zero," said Dave Welch, a Republican strategist who worked on both of John McCain's presidential bids.

Herman Cain attorney Lin Wood is a guest on "Piers Morgan Tonight" this evening, in an exclusive interview in the wake of the latest accusation aimed at his client. "What I find naive is the failure on the part of members of the media to be asking the tough questions of the accuser, someone who has, obviously a troubled past," Wood tells Piers Morgan. "Why don't you look at yourself, Piers, and the members of your media?"

If Republicans want to know exactly what not to do to win in 2012, then follow advice similar to that offered by David Frum as to why Sarah Palin should stop talking now about the false accusations that she was responsible for the Tucson shooting:**snip**It does not matter whether you support Palin for President, whether you think she is electable, or even whether you like her. This is not about Palin, it is about the mainstream medias desire to have Barack Obama re-elected at any cost and to take down any Republican candidate who stands in the way.

The female bodybuilder who once ran a bicycle business with latest Herman Cain accuser Ginger White says the Atlanta woman never mentioned the Republican presidential candidate, who she says was her lover for 13 years. "His name has never come up," said Kimberly Vay, who told ABC News that she and White were former business partners. But Vay, who filed and won a libel lawsuit against White, refused to comment directly when asked whether she considers White's accusations about Cain credible. "When you see the details of my lawsuit," said Vay, "they will speak for themselves." She then referred ABC...

While Newt Gingrichs unexpected rise to the top of the Republican primary ladder had taken the spotlight off of the numerous sexual allegations against Herman Cain for some time, but that problem came barreling back into headlines today as Cain himself broke the news of a new accusation: a thirteen-year affair. On tonights Factor, Bill OReilly had some pessimistic remarks on the matter, wondering whether Herman Cain can survive any more of this. Joined by panelists Leslie Marshall and Janine Turner, OReilly noted that on his program they were not going to get into this, meaning the details of the...

Gloria Cain has broken her silence on allegations against her husband and Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain of sexual misconduct while at the National Restaurant Association. Mrs. Cain will appear on Greta van Susteren’s On the Record tonight in a prerecorded interview, insisting that “my husband respects women,” and that he would have to have a “split personality” for these charges to be true. Fox has offered a preview of Mrs. Cain’s remarks, which other news services have also picked up: Gloria Cain, wife of Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain, says claims of sex harassment against her husband left her...

Judge not, lest ye be judged. Not a bad rule of thumb. Being alive means making mistakes. Growing up means understanding that fact, and taking responsibility. Bad actors never take responsibility. Barack Obama honestly believes he's never made a mistake since getting elected; it's one of the few things I think he really means. Honestly. That's why I kind of like Herman Cain's response to the media thugs. Cain isn't playing their game. I hope he checkmates them, move after move. Never play by their rules. Always set your own rules, or they will kill you. You can see their...

If you are a conservative and a minority, watch out. Liberals and the liberal media are out to get you. Just ask Herman Cain. We've seen it before. And Americans are sick and tired of it. The character assassination of conservatives is standard operating procedure for the liberal, progressive media. This stems from a particular form of demented thinking that seems to afflict the majority of liberals and progressives. In his book "The Liberal Mind, the Psychological Causes of Political Madness," board certified forensic psychiatrist Lyle H. Rossiter, Jr. details his view that liberals do indeed suffer from a form...

I don't know if there is more than one source or not, but, according to Politico, Chris Wilson, a Governor Perry supporter and pollster for the super PAC that supports Governor Perry, worked at the National Restaurant Association and is the (a?) source for the Cain/sexual harassment story. He said the episode of harassment occurred in a public restaurant in the 1990's and that many people knew about it. What is WEIRD about the Politico story and Chris Wilson, is that Chris Wilson would not or did not say what happened. The only reason that omission catches my attention is...

Herman Cain acted swiftly to put an end to speculation over the story about sexual-harassment claims during his tenure at the National Restaurant Association. After a few hours of confused response, Cain admitted that he had been accused, but falsely, of inappropriate conduct. He claimed that an investigation of those accusations showed at the time that they were “baseless,” and he seemed surprised by the news that the trade group settled the claims. “I hope it wasn’t for much,” Cain told Fox News, “because nothing happened”: “I have never sexually harassed anyone, but yes, I was falsely accused while I...

Not many presidential candidates would break into a gospel song of forgiveness and redemption for a packed room of reporters who have spent the day doggedly inquiring about allegations of sexual harassment. But not many candidates are Herman Cain. The Republican presidential contender spent a whirlwind Monday grappling with potentially devastating reports that he behaved in an inappropriate sexual manner toward two women who worked for him when he was president of the National Restaurant Association. Both women were reportedly offered, and accepted, settlement proposals that included five-figure payouts and confidentiality agreements, according to reports. But that news, which would...
