BULAWAYO - Zimbabwe’s black empowerment lobby group has accused foreign owned companies of sabotaging the controversial indigenisation policy by deliberately closing shop and stripping assets to avoid take-over. Harare came to a standstill on Monday when a ZANU PF mob engulfed the city in chaos, destroying property worth thousands of dollars, mainly belonging to foreign owned companies. In what looks to be the start of the next phase of state-sponsored property heists in Zimbabwe, over 20 tourism facilities have been invaded in Lake Chivero Recreational Park (formerly Lake Mcllwaine), 37 km south west of Harare.
