Long-time conservative columnist and author Don Feder remarked Friday that perhaps what the United States needs is not more gun control, but "Muslim control." "Instead of targeting gun owners, try to imagine [President] Obama saying that San Bernardino shows the need for 'bi-partisan support for Muslim control'," said Feder. "After it stopped foaming at the mouth, the Committee on American Islamic Relations would have called it racist and paranoid, and not at all nice," he continued. "The suggestion would have been condemned by every Democratic presidential candidate. And the Norwegian Nobel Committee would have taken back Obama's Peace Prize." Feder...

Muslims don’t like vaccines. It’s safe to mock a Jenny McCarthy over vaccines, but no one mentions the vehement opposition of Islamists to vaccinations. In Afghanistan, the Taliban have issued fatwas against vaccines and murdered workers. Nigeria and Pakistan have also been scenes of violent Muslim opposition to vaccination. Muslims aren’t even 1 percent of the population of Scotland. But they’ve been doing their Talibanest best there, with the aid and support of the so-called Scottish National Party that often seems more like the Pakistani Immigrants Party and now Scotland’s largest vaccination program has been shut down because of them.

A Florida attorney says the misconduct complaint filed against him is a frivolous motion from a disgruntled opposing lawyer for his legal representation of a Christian who converted from Islam. The complaint was filed by The Florida Bar on behalf of Columbus attorney Omar Tarazi as he alleges that John Stemberger, who represented Rifqa Bary after she ran away from Ohio to Florida in 2009 because she feared persecution from her family, appeared on TV as the girl's attorney after he stopped representing her. Tarazi had represented the teenage girl's parents as they hoped to return Bary to their custody,...

WASHINGTON -- U.S. lawmakers formally asked the Bush administration Thursday to reconsider its approval of a sale giving a company in the United Arab Emirates control over significant operations at six major American ports. The lawmakers, including four senators and three House members, sharply criticized the UAE as inconsistent in its support of U.S. anti-terrorism efforts. They also said the country was a key transfer point for shipments of nuclear components sent to Iran, North Korea and Libya and was one of only three nations that had recognized the Taliban as Afghanistan's legitimate government. read more
