It was no big deal -- no harm done, but a fair amount of blood which splattered all over the house. It took me about an hour to get it cleaned up. The dog helped. The main problem was that I had no single organized first-aid kit, so I had to hunt around for things. I want to cure that. I want at least one for the house and one for the car. The question this time is: what should go into a first-aid kit? This is no fun. Close to the top of the list is turning down an invitation to go to the "Sadie Hawkins" dance with the class nerd when I was in the eighth grade. She was homely, but her main problem was that she had an IQ of about 180. I first accepted. I quite liked her. The other boys razzed me to the point where I canceled.
