  • Why was the Green New Deal yanked from Ocasio-Cortez's website?

The story behind the comedic and unsuccessful rollout of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's Green New Deal demonstrates a congressional office in utter chaos with no one — or everyone — in charge. The document appeared on Ocasio-Cortez's webpage on February 7 and by nightfall had been unceremoniously deleted.  This was after a day of mockery and outrage at some of the more unrealistic, even silly proposals the document detailed. The "explanations" offered by her staff ran the gamut from the document being a "draft" to charges by one of her main advisers that Republicans had planted the document to make her look stupid....
  • 60 Minutes: Questions remain about whereabouts of Scientology 'queen'

The public face of the Church of Scientology is benevolent. For decades the church has enjoyed the razzle-dazzle of its celebrity members and high-profile spokespeople, including Tom Cruise and John Travolta. But beneath the glamour and celebrity is a veil of secrecy, with disturbing cult-like practices and serious allegations of violence, abuse and even claims of holding people prisoner. 60 Minutes travelled to Scientologys California HQ the Gold Base just outside of LA where reporter Tara Brown went looking for answers on Shelly Miscaviges disappearance but instead, 60 Minutes cameras were met with hostility and an angry...
  • Dumb as a box of rocks: Democrats suddenly realize their Maduro-love will cost them Florida in 2020

For years, Democrats have fallen over themselves to defend Latin American communist dictatorships.  Who can forget Rep. Maxine Waters's apology to the Castro regime for the U.S. on her pilgrimage to Cuba or Rep. Jim McGovern's secret collaborations with Colombia's Marxist FARC terrorists or New York mayor Bill de Blasio's "help" to the Nicaraguan Sandinistas or Sen. Bernie Sanders's open praise for Hugo Chávez's Venezuela?  And don't forget Joe Kennedy's Dial Joe-4-Oil, which was a gusher of propaganda praise for Venezuela's oppressive socialist regime.  They've always gotten away with it.  Until now. They suddenly are realizing that the Maduro-lovers and Trump-resisters in their ranks, who happen to be some of their biggest "it" girls with the loudest voices — Rep. Ilhan Omar, Rep. Alexandria...
  • Michelle Obama at Grammys a 2020 hint? Her remarks drowned out by applause(NO pic!)

Michelle Obama was briefly drowned out by applause as she joined host Alicia Keys, Lady Gaga, Jada Pinkett-Smith and Jennifer Lopez at the beginning of the 61st Annual Grammy Awards. After Keys introduced the other four women as her sisters, each delivered short remarks about the power of music. The former first lady went last, and got only a few words into her remarks about wearing out old Motown Records when she grew up on the South Side of Chicago.

New York states income tax take is dropping rapidly, but its leaders dont seem interested in truly facing the implications. Projected income tax revenues for the year just dropped $2.3 billion, Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Comptroller Tom DiNapoli announced Monday and thats after falling $500 million in December. Cuomo partly gets whats going on: Tax the rich! Tax the rich! Tax the rich! We did. Now, God forbid, the rich leave, he said. He noted that the top 1 percent of New York earners provide 46 percent of the states personal income tax revenues, and cited anecdotal evidence that...

  • More of Trump's private schedules leak as West Wing hunts down source

    02/11/2019 6:44:16 AM PST · by Liberty7732 · 51 replies
President Trump's private schedules were leaked for a second time in a week on Sunday, highlighting what appears to be an act of defiance as the White House frantically investigates who might be behind the breach. Axios reported it obtained four more days of Trump's schedules from last week, showing the president spent nearly half his time in unstructured Executive Time," which is time during which nothing is planned in advance. Last Sunday, the outlet published three months' worth of the president's private itinerary.
  • Police Sources: Smolletts story is very likely not true, according to report

Empire” star Jussie Smollett made international headlines after he alleged that he was attacked at 2 AM in Arctic weather in Chicago but, local police department sources are growing increasingly skeptical of Smollet’s report and may even consider charges against him. “In short, there is near unanimity among police sources that Smollett’s story is very likely not true,” Mediaite reported. And that even the media outlets still regurgitating the current “party line” don’t really believe it.” #JussieSmollett went too far. CPD is publicly still calling him a victim, but sources in the department tell me that the investigative focus has...

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is weighing in on the proposed wall on the U.S. border with Mexico, claiming it would be death-inducing for a number of species. [Snip] PETA opposes a border wall because it spells certain death by starvation and thirst and the end of access to foraging and nesting groundas well as blocking the migratory paths. [Snip] Even the conservative National Wildlife Federation called the wall "one of the biggest potential ecological disasters of our time." [Snip] "You think a bird's just going to fly over a wall, but that's not necessarily the case,"...

Some local officials are calling for Bronx City Councilman Ruben Diaz Senior to resign over seemingly homophobic comments. On the Spanish-speaking radio show "The Relief," Diaz said the City Council is "controlled by the homosexual community." Although he did not specify who he was referring to, the current City Council speaker is Corey Johnson, who is openly gay and HIV-positive. Mayor de Blasio took to Twitter, demanding that Diaz apologize. Now, a group of councilmembers is calling for further action. The City Council LGBT Caucus and Women's Caucus issued a joint statement saying, in part, "We demand he resign from...

The number of United States-born children of illegal aliens in ten states is more than four times the total population of Boston, Massachusettes, data reveals. The U.S.-born children of illegal aliens are commonly known as "anchor babies," as they "anchor" their illegal alien and noncitizen parents in the U.S. when they are granted immediate birthright citizenship. There are at least 4.5 million anchor babies in the country, a population that exceeds the total number of annual American births, as about 300,000 anchor babies are born every year, exceeding the total number of American births in 48 states. "The high school yearbooks of former Texas congressman Robert Francis O'Rourke make no mention of him as "Beto," the nickname he says "just stuck" with him ever since he was growing up. O'Rourke graduated in June 1991 and was awarded the Robert F. Williams Memorial Medal for being the student who "submits the most imaginative prose or poetry," according to the yearbook. O'Rourke is now considering a run for president, but is struggling to find direction in his life as he plots what to do, the New York Times reports."
  • Gen. 1-11: The Creation Model vs. Modern Pagan Evolutionary Models

As a neo-pagan evolutionary materialist (pagan animist), Dennett enthusiastically embraces Darwin's evolutionary theory because evolution an unseen creative energy that acts upon matter supposedly provides a 'scientific' explanation for the emergence of life from non-life bearing chemicals, thereby supposedly negating the necessity of the living, supernatural Tri-Personal God. Hence Dennett's delusional insistence that there is no soul/spirit (mind, will) associated with the human brain or any supernatural God or life after death. Thus the central concern of Dennett's career has been to explain how, ".... meaning, function and purpose can come to exist in a world that is...

[snip] What has been put forth is only a resolution calling on Congress to draft Green New Deal legislation, not detailed legislation itself. The resolution calls for meeting 100 percent of the power demand in the United States through clean, renewable, and zero-emission energy sources, to be accomplished through a 10-year national mobilization, but it doesnt offer much of a plan to accomplish it, let alone grapple with all of the obstacles and ramifications of a radical transformation of the American economy over a breakneck timeline. On top of its energy goals, the resolution would require providing all Americans with...

Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn, reportedly retweeted then deleted a Twitter post that accused her of anti-Semitism after she was called out from both sides of the aisle for tweeting that the U.S. relationship with Israel is all about the Benjamins, baby. The tweet she reportedly reposted was from Joshua Zeitz, a historian. The tweet in question began as though he was supportive of the freshman congresswoman's earlier comments. He wrote that he's "one of those American Jews who opposes the occupation, laments Israels anti-democratic drift, and doesn't regard the country as especially central to my Jewish identity." The tweet continues,...

When police and security forces discovered 19-year-old Ori Ansbacher in Jerusalems Ein Yael forest on Friday, she was already dead. Police noted that she was murdered in a brutal fashion having been stabbed at least 12 times in the chest and neck. There were other signs of brutality but in deference to police requests and the dignity of the Ansbacher family, I will refrain from noting them here. Needless to say, this was a barbaric crime even by Palestinian standards of barbarity. Forensic teams scoured the site for evidence and within 24 hours, there was a significant evidentiary breakthrough that...
