  • Socialism: Based entirely on false promises

Begun after Lenin’s Bolshevik Revolution in 1917, the Soviet Union existed from 1922 to 1991. With its motto “Workers of the World, Unite!” the Soviet tactic was to train agitators, community organizers, labor organizers, and agent provocateurs-provoking agents. These would organize people with grievances and stir up riots to subvert and “tear down” the existing government. When social chaos caused major domestic disruptions, the public would then willingly accept a new order. Unfortunately, rather than a wonderful utopian society of equality, the efforts of these naive “useful idiots” simply paved the way for martial law and a military communist dictatorship....

After protests and complaints about Austin ISD renting space to a church that doesn't allow gay members, the district is getting creative with its response. It plans to take $10,000 of the money it's received in rent payments, and use it to boost student participation in the Austin Pride parade. Previously, the district has relied on donations to pay for the transportation, security, and entrance fee to participate. "Austin ISD is committed to providing welcoming environments to all of our students," said AISD Communication and Engagement Executive Director Reyne Telles. "All means all for us, and that comes in a...

A new survey from Quinnipiac variously labeled as “stunning” and “predictive” by ‘those in the know’ claims to have found that POTUS Donald Trump is behind the six leading contenders for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020. Behind. All of them. The survey has him behind “Sleepy” Joe Biden by double digits. breathlessly reports, warning us that it’s early but such signs ‘cannot be ignored’: A new poll pits President Donald Trump against six of the top Democratic contenders in a theoretical match-up of the 2020 presidential election, and the results are rather stunning. The Quinnipiac University poll shows that...

Nearly 70 tourists have reported getting violently ill while vacationing in the Dominican Republic since March, according to a commonly used website that tracks food-borne illness outbreaks. That’s up from just 10 reported illnesses in the country for all of 2018, according to In June alone, 52 tourists reported symptoms of vomiting, diarrhea and fever. More than 45 of them identified themselves as guests at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana. “People report food-borne illnesses but it’s possible that they experienced some other type of contamination,” said Patrick Quade, founder of, adding that he consulted with...

Popular children’s television show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic will introduce their young viewers to a lesbian couple in an upcoming episode titled, The Last Crusade. Aunty Holiday and Auntie Lofty first made an appearance in the book Ponyville Mysteries: Riddle of the Rusty Horseshoe back in 2017. At the time, Michael Vogel, one of the writers, shared an image of the “cute couple” on Twitter. When asked if the two female ponies were lesbians, Vogel replied: “Well they aren’t sisters so…” When asked again if he was saying they were actually lesbians, Vogel went on to clarify: “When...

China has reportedly developed an over-the-horizon maritime early warning radar system that its creator claims can detect stealth aircraft far beyond visual range, an advanced capability that could threaten US fifth-generation fighters operating in the area. Liu Yongtan, the team leader for the radar project, told Chinese media his high-frequency surface wave radar emits "high frequency electromagnetic waves with long wavelengths and wide beams" that travel along the surface of the sea, the Global Times reported Monday, citing a recent interview with Naval and Merchant Ships magazine. The radar system, part of China's ongoing efforts to prevent a sneak attack...

In Townhall, retired Sheriff David Clarke writes “Clueless In Chicago” while Carl Nolte of the San Francisco Chronicle admits “It’s true -- San Francisco is a mess. And everyone knows it”. Big cities across our nation have become cesspools and liberal governance has long been the root cause of this decline.  The resulting madness ranges from vagrancy to murder.  Eighty-two people shot and 15 dead over two weekends in Chicago.  Chicago’s new mayor, Lori Lightfoot, called the violence “unacceptable,” a default term people in charge use when about to accept whatever foul behavior they claim is unacceptable.  Just saying, “Remember,...

It’s almost as if writers at the two most important newspapers in America want to be identified as fake news purveyors.  Two reckless false attacks were launched yesterday, based on the hateful imagination of prog news mavens, and almost immediately discredited. Or maybe this, from Capehart’s WaPo colleague:   Hmm, this looks like a blank piece of paper — Glenn Kessler (@GlennKesslerWP) June 11, 2019   Kessler, who is a “fact-checker” for the WaPo finally checked his facts:   Nope, the video clip was deceiving. A screengrab via @BySteveReilly indicates there is some text! — Glenn Kessler...

Doctors and hospitals are in the gunsights of many Democrats who want Medicare-for-all as a draconian price control scheme by government over all medical care in the US. Hospitals are told they charge too much and doctors are vilified for earning too much. What a relief that a sugar daddy has appeared, a rich boyfriend, a benefactor with a fat wallet, ready to bestow his financial largess on financially strapped healthcare providers. This sugar daddy is named Gavin, tall and handsome with good hair. I speak of California Governor Gavin Newsom, who finalized a deal with the California legislature, “to...

For those who despair that the rule of law in America is being crushed by liberal fake news, we have encouraging news out of Ohio. A jury has ruled that Oberlin College, one of the nation’s most left-wing institutions of higher learning, must pay the proprietors of Gibson’s Bakery in Oberlin, Ohio, $11.2 million in damages for libel, slander, and other disruptions that the college caused in the business by encouraging false charges of racism. Imagine, if you can, a computer virus that cut the productivity of Apple, Google, and Facebook in half. Or try to imagine Wall Street’s investment bankers seeing a season’s worth of deals washed away. Such calamities would dominate our nation’s news and drive swift political action. Yet that is precisely what America’s farmers face right now. And, as a country, we aren’t paying nearly enough attention. Farmers are generally too proud and humble to speak out, but the truth is we are living through an extremely difficult period of market turmoil and natural disasters. Due largely to sustained low commodity...

The “unindicted co-conspirator” Council on American-Muslim Relations (“CAIR”) and its Islamist allies are “outraged” because the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, has invited me to give a lecture on my recent book, Sword and Scimitar: Fourteen Centuries of War between Islam and the West. On May 28, CAIR’s Pennsylvania leadership—namely Jacob Bender, Timothy Welbeck, and Ahmet Selim Tekelioglu —sent a letter to USAWC Commandant Gen. John Kem and Provost Dr. James Breckenridge urging them to revoke “the decision of the US Army War College to invite Mr. Raymond Ibrahim to deliver the prestigious 50th Annual Lecture Series of...

U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar is back in the news again, and not in a good way. The former state representative who won a seat in Congress last fall continues to be dogged by past missteps, this time eight violations of Minnesota campaign-finance law that will cost her nearly $3,500 in reimbursements and civil penalties.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report on the Russia investigation should never have been written, according to Alan Dershowitz. The Constitution does not explicitly provide for special counsels or special prosecutors, Dershowitz said Tuesday on "The Ingraham Angle." He added such offices are "inconsistent" with the founding document, adding that there wasn't a pretense for the several-hundred-page conclusion to the investigation into President Trump. Dershowitz also claimed Democrats have no legal right to have Mueller testify before them. "Prosecutors have a right to say only one thing: We have concluded there's no evidence sufficient to charge the president with Russian collusion...

Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker on Wednesday is expected to sign into law the Reproductive Health Act, which he said would make his state the most progressive on the issue. The measure, which lawmakers said codifies existing practices, removes restrictions on abortions later in one's pregnancy and any criminal penalties for physicians who perform them, according to ABC Chicago station WLS. The new law also repeals Illinois' partial birth ban and the state's 1975 abortion act, in addition to expanding insurance coverage for procedures and for contraception.

John Dean, notorious from the Watergate scandals of the Nixon Administration, blew a hole in the bottom of the Democrats’ boat in his much-anticipated testimony on June 10, 2019. It happened around time 6:11 PM EST after about four hours of John Dean's testimony alongside a panel of gushingly, enthusiastically left-wing former prosecutors. In response to a softball "How do you feel?" therapeutic question by a Democratic Congressman, John Dean detonated the entire charade sky high. After four hours of the hearing, Congressman Lou Correa (D-CA) sympathetically asked Dean why he came in to testify after all he had been...

Is there any doubt that many Democrats agree with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi when she says she wants to see President Trump "in prison"? After the Mueller report, House Democrats seem to believe almost unanimously that the president is guilty of obstruction of justice. Their increasingly heated internal debate is whether to impeach Trump now or press for his incarceration after they defeat him next year. They can impeach the president on their own, of course, any time they want. But putting him in prison is a much heavier lift, requiring Democrats to first win the White House in 2020...
