The man who has led the nation’s nuclear security agency since 2007 is stepping down next month after presiding over a 20 percent increase in the agency’s budget but also some management missteps that have raised questions about the agency’s ability to carry out its mission. Tom D’Agostino announced Friday he is leaving the National Nuclear Security Administration, which funds and oversees work at the Sandia and Los Alamos national labs in New Mexico. The research centers employ about 20,000 people in the state. He was appointed to the post by President George W. Bush. …

Florida Rep. Allen West is suggesting the House is no longer a player in the fiscal cliff negotiations following the rejection by Republicans of Speaker John Boehner's “Plan B” tax bill, which was aimed at forcing the president into a larger deficit reduction deal. The Republican caucus, according to some political observers, is now in chaos and unable to agree among themselves on anything. But West insisted in an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity Thursday night that Republicans did the right thing in refusing to go along with Boehner’s plan to increase the tax rate on the affluent even...

Obama offered a eulogy for Inouye, which usually means offering insights into the deceased’s life and character. Because the NRA's idea is so appealing, as I write this, the media's going overboard, mocking it as bizarre, crazy, and out of touch. This is how the media works to silence and vilify the opposition and to ensure that only their ideas control The Narrative. The media doesn't care about securing our schools; they only care about coming after our guns and...

Our “Constitutional Law Professor” in Chief was born to parents that openly hated America, raised by an atheist mother that despised America, idolized an absentee Kenyan father that deeply hated America, later raised by atheist grandparents that hated America and whom personally appointed a known Communist Party agent to be Obama’s personal mentor. He was “spiritually counseled” for 20 years by an anti-American Preacher of Black Liberation Theology, a preacher of hate that eventually introduced our esteemed President to a woman that admitted to never being proud of America a day in her life. There can be no doubt Barack’s...

President Obama’s longtime friend Robert R. “Bobby” Titcomb was fined $500 this morning after entering a deferred plea of no contest to a charge of soliciting prostitution. The deferral, granted over the objection of the Prosecutor’s Office by District Judge Leslie Hayashi, means the charge against Titcomb will be dismissed if he stays out of legal trouble over the next six months. -snip- When Harrison asked the judge to accept the deferred no contest plea, Deputy Prosecutor Kurt Nakamatsu objected, saying Titcomb had received a similar deferral in 1989 on a traffic charge of leaving the scene of an accident....

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) is resisting pressure from Republicans pushing for the Senate to take a more active role to avoid the “fiscal cliff” after House legislation stalled Thursday. Reid has rejected Speaker John Boehner’s (R-Ohio) assertion that avoiding the fiscal cliff now depends on President Obama working out a deal with the Senate. Reid’s allies said it is unrealistic to expect him and Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) to step in and hammer out an eleventh-hour agreement. On Friday, Reid dismissed McConnell’s proposal that he bring to the floor legislation extending tax rates that could be...
