A new Gallup poll shows growing support for marijuana legalization, with 64 percent of Americans now in favor of the measure. The number is the highest level of support in nearly half a century of surveying adults on the issue, according to Gallup. Support has steadily increased in recent years, with the latest figure up 4 percentage points over last year and up 14 points from 2011. The poll also showed a majority of Republicans favoring legalization for the first time, with 51 percent expressing support. That number is up 9 percentage points from last year, according to Gallup.

CNN dropped a bombshell on Monday night that “US investigators wiretapped former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort under secret court orders before and after the election...The government snooping continued into early this year, including a period when Manafort was known to talk to President Donald Trump.” This means there are some major-media reporters who should apologize to conservatives who asked questions about Trump-team surveillance. The 2018 Miss America Competition takes place this Sunday. 51 women from Alabama to Wyoming will compete for the crown in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The 97th annual competition will air on ABC Sunday, September 10 at 9 p.m. and be hosted by "Bachelor" host Chris Harrison and ESPN's Sage Steele.
