WWPD - What Will Pelosi Do? This is the question we should all be asking people who are happy about the election? Everyone is pointing out items like this but there needs to be something simple and catchy. I use the "WWPD - What Will Pelosi Do?" for my instance messaging icon and trust me people ask about it.

“The army is not properly equipped for an invasion of an enemy's territory. It lacks much of the material of war, is feeble in transportation, the animals being much reduced, and the men are poorly provided with clothes, and in thousands of instances are destitute of shoes. Still we cannot afford to be idle, and though weaker than our opponents in men and military equipments, must endeavor to harass, if we cannot destroy them. I am aware that the movement is attended with much risk, yet I do not consider success impossible, and shall endeavor to guard it from loss.”...

Alright. It's not necessary to do the obligatory "what are you watching CNN for anyway?" It's part of my job description. OK. I just need to vent amongst friends. This guy is quickly rising to the top of smarmy Libs. He is a poor Andy Rooney wannabe who accompanies Wolf Blitzer afternoons at CNN. His job description is to add insight and read e-mails answering questions he throws out. Of course, he picks his favorites to read. Everything designed to slime Bush. Not even a hint of objectivity. I just saw him ask, "what will be different with response to...

If as it appears Bush will nominate a moderate named Edith Clement to the Court, will the Right bolt from the GOP in next years midterms? Bush, someone I have been a big fan of, is turning out to be a heck of a disappoinment. He hasn't controlled the borders and apparently only used the promise to appoint "strict constructionists" as a cynical ploy to get re-elected. Bush, like his father before him, is proving to be a huge demoralizer for the Right.

In the throes of anguish over the last minute Senatorial Republican cave-in, many are missing an important point. Yes, the invertebrates have promised no constitutional option during this congress (i.e. until the fall of 2006) ... as long as the Dems have promised not to fillibuster judicial nominess except in "extraordinary circumstances." Since it is a cinch that the Dems will simply again fillibuster all Bush nominees after the three named ones have been confirmed, they will have violated the deal. The question is when the Repubs will acknowledge this and vote to end judicial fillibusters.

Unfreakingbelievable. John Kerry is a shameless political whore who rivals the Clintons. Yes, he really does. The man who turned on his country and comrades, who negotiated with the enemy while a reserve officer, who voted against almost every weapons system that we now use, who falsified reports to get medals so he could scram early, and who called for a nuclear freeze actually saluted the foreign policy of both Reagan and Kennedy. How many of you remember the 1988 RAT convention that nominated the tank commander? How many of you remember what Kerry said about Reagan then? He took...

I realize that I'm not as new as most of the people posting vanities today, but I just had to get this off my chest. Owl_Eagle " I didn't like it when he compared our troops to Jen-jis Khan.I don't like his stance on jun control. And I think John Kerry is jonna jet me killed."

Just heard Ambassador Holbrook on FOX News criticizing Bush's statement that the war on Iraq is the "centerpiece" of the War on Terror. Holbrook claims if Iraq is the centerpiece, it's not going well and that Bush should be replaced by Kerry. Also we've heard Kerry and the Democrats complaining that the war in Iraq is "creating" more terrorists and that we should be focused on getting the guy that actually attacked us, Osama bin Laden rather than fighting in Iraq, and not only that, but Saddam Hussein had nothing at all to do with terrorism. Well, beyond the fact...

Hillary for President? Like all disasters, it started with something small and simple. Doctor Dean throws his hat into the presidential ring and says he didn't think the war in Iraq was a very good idea. The disenfranchised, activist liberals seized on this position, and gave Dean a popular boost that set him apart from his distressingly boring opponents. Attempting to recover, the other candidates also hopped on the anti-war bandwagon even when many had actually voted to authorize President Bush to prosecute the war. Since there is no "pro-war" Democratic candidate, this effectively makes the "anti-war" issue a...
