Almost fired for listening to Sean Hannity

Guys this is going to take the cake. About 10 days ago at work one of my coworkers was typing away listening to Sean on his radio. (we get it on tape delay) The supervisor walked by and noted the station that showed up on the digital display. He berated him for listening to Sean because he is an evil conservative whack job and it offends people around him. Note he had headphones on so nobody could hear his radio. And in an office where the leader has a radio on at all times low that we can hear but...

Petition

+ + + Forward this message to your friends + + + Right now, the Senate is debating its amnesty bill, a surrender to illegal aliens. Unless citizens respond, the Senate will grant amnesty to millions of illegals. The vote is imminent--before Memorial Day. I just signed a petition urging our elected leaders to Secure our Borders and say "No" to Amnesty. Would you join me? Go here for information: http://www.grassfire.org/42/petition.asp?PID=11087388&NID=1 Thanks!

Fox News Paid for DeLay's Travel

Rep. Tom DeLay (R-TX) "filed a report with the Clerk of the House of Representatives indicating he received free travel valued at $13,998.55 from Fox News Sunday for 'officially connected travel' on October 1-2, 2005, from Sugarland, TX to Washington, D.C. and back to Sugarland, TX. Rep. DeLay appeared on Fox News Sunday on October 2, 2005, the weekend after his indictment on September 28, 2005."

School Question about Katrina and Taxes

I am 16 years old and in the speech and debate team at my high school. Our current topic for debate is: "Should the United States federal government fund Hurricane Katrina relief and rebuilding by ending President Bush's tax cuts?" I strongly disagree with the proposition, but I need more evidence and reasons to back up my argument. Suggestions and facts would be greatly appreciated!!

What if Miers is a conservative AND Bush is an idiot? (Nice Kitty, Niiiiice kitty)

Let's avoid kidding ourselves, shall we? Democrats aren't going to defeat Miers. They know the only liberal under consideration was Alberto Gonzales, the guy they used to argue that maybe Hussein wasn't so bad, as if a few humiliating photographs compared to the physical torture, starvation or execution of hundreds of thousands of Iraqi dissidents. (Man, those Democrats must've been scarred earlier in their lives. Memo to self: Don't join a fraternity that allows hazing but is "tolerant" of deviant sexual practices.) No, Harriet Miers was the best they could hope for. Sure they're afraid she MIGHT be conservative --...

Durbin is Right (The Full, Awful Truth About Gitmo)[HUMOR]

The time has come to face the ugly truth: Dick Durban is right; the things our military is doing in Guantanemo Bay to prisoners is tantamount to torture. Here is the side of Guantanemo you won't hear from the mainstream media. Only those of us who have a friend whose neighbor's son's ex-girlfriend's brother is actually there hear the stomach-churning stories of questioning tactics that are routinely visited on the detainees at Gitmo. Read ahead if you dare, but I warn you, it's not for the weak-hearted. My contacts inside tell me that the prisoners are forced to sit on...

The war in Iraq has nothing to do with 9/11

THE WAR IN IRAQ HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH 9/11If you believe that you are a fool. John Kerry seemed to enjoy saying over and over during the 2004 presidential campaign that Iraq did not attack America on 9/11. Kerry’s infamous argument that the war in Iraq was the “wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong time” was a case that Saddam Hussein was in no way a subject of the global war on terror. Liberal news commentators have been fond of asking the question: If George W. Bush and Dick Cheney have not been at least implying...
