There's one for Michael Savage to comment on. Seriously, that city is disgusting. Potholes, junkies, bums, naked gay men walking around everywhere, etc.Yuck.

I'm an American and I support the concept of freedom. For example, I proudly support the freedom to not have to look at naked people. And I'd like the freedom to go to one of my favorite cities without having to look at naked people. And I really support the freedom of seating one of my kids at a restaurant table where I'm relatively sure a naked person wasn't just sitting. San Francisco Supervisor Scott Wiener -- make your own joke and please move on -- has proposed an ordinance banning naked people sitting in restaurants and in public places...

Hanging out on a street corner has taken on new meaning in San Francisco. Several dozen men and at least one woman took part in a naked protest Saturday in San Francisco's Castro District that has become known for its nude visitors. Some participants carried signs that read, "Nudity is Not a Crime" and "Get Your Hate Off My Body," . . .

There is a line between being tolerant and having no standards whatsoever, and that's a line that San Francisco passed a long time ago. Public nudity has become the costume de rigueur in certain corners of the Special City. Twice in the past year, I've seen groups of nude adults walking or biking around the Embarcadero -- to the delight of some tourists and the disgust of others. "Clothing-optional" could be the city's new motto, along with "age-inappropriate." In a well-meaning -- dare I say modest? -- attempt to address the Special City's new normal, Supervisor Scott Wiener has proposed...

There currently is a debate raging over public nudity in San Francisco. It’s not what you think. It’s already entirely legal to parade about in the buff on the city’s streets, and no one is discussing the resurrection of indecent-exposure laws. Rather, the question is whether sanitary behavior — namely, posterior protection for public seating — should be required of nudists by law. Reports the Los Angeles Times: Retired math teacher David Goldman and his husband, Michael Koehn, were sharing a pleasant alfresco moment at a public plaza in the heart of the Castro district this week, passing a slender...

San Francisco -- Supervisor Scott Wiener's proposed legislation about the nude guys in the Castro is already a success. That is, assuming his intention was to make kooky San Francisco a national joke while doing nothing about the core problem. Wiener has come up with a plan to compel the nudies to put something under their bottoms when they sit in public chairs and cover up in restaurants. "What I am proposing is noncontroversial," he said. "Rather than try to hit one out of the park and take on the broader issue of public nudity, I am proposing a modest...

The controversial blogger who posted naked pictures of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s toddler son along with X-rated commentary has bowed to pressure from state police and removed the material from his Web site. Attorney General Martha Coakley’s office confirmed last night that detectives from her office went to the Milton home of David Portnoy, founder of barstoolsports.com, to discuss the posts of Brady’s 20-month-old son, which included a magnified picture of the boy naked on a beach in Costa Rica with his mother, Gisele Bundchen, as well as the offensive comments. “We asked Mr. Portnoy to remove the postings and...

The Playboy logo. July 28, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A prominent parents group is calling on local stations to refuse to air the NBC series “The Playboy Club,” in a letter sent to the network’s affiliate stations this week. The series, which is scheduled to premiere on September 19th, follows the lives of several employees of the first Playboy Club in Chicago in the early 1960s. A promotional for the show on NBC’s website calls it “the door to all your fantasies.” “Today, people wish we were living in unhealthier times,” Chad Hodge, the show’s creator, told the Los Angeles Times....

2 N.J. teens labeled sex offenders for life after 'horseplay' incidentUpdated: Wednesday, July 20, 2011, 8:47 AM By MaryAnn Spoto/The Star-Ledger The Star-Ledger SOMERSET COUNTY — Call it bullying or call it horseplay. Either way, a state appellate court panel says roughhousing with a sexual connotation by a pair of 14-year-old Somerset County boys was a crime that requires them to register as sex offenders for the rest of their lives. In a decision handed down Monday, the three-judge panel acknowledged the severity of its decision, but said it was bound to uphold the law. "We are keenly aware that...

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Authorities say a Florida man faces federal misdemeanor charges after witnesses reported seeing him wandering around a national forest campground naked and armed with a pistol. Joseph Alfieri is charged in U.S. District Court in Salt Lake City with being publicly nude and causing annoyance.

Although it has not quite recaptured the magic of "The Sopranos," there is no denying that HBO is once again in full stride. With Emmy-winning movies, a panoply of well-done documentaries, successful comedies and dramatic hits both popular — "True Blood" — and critical — "Boardwalk Empire," "Treme" — the premium network bursts with so much justified confidence that it took on the perilous realm of fantasy with the well-received "Game of Thrones." So maybe it's time to tone down the tits. I write the word knowing it is going to render my editors and readers apoplectic — why not...

As a nation we have been going down the drain quickly. Over the last several years we have been bombarded everywhere we look with all kinds of evil. The Libertarians say “close your eyes if you don’t like it after all it’s my choice to see and do as I please”. Over the last few years on my Facebook page I have been arguing with them over the fact they want to make drugs & prostitution legal. Our nation slips ever so slowly into more and more filth and no one seems to see it or care. Now the courts...

Efforts to herd clothed, scantily clad and unclad bicyclists together for a potentially uncomfortable Madison tour on World Naked Bike Ride day have flopped in the past. But next month, they just might pull it off. Or at least most of it. There has been no official announcement, but there have been posters, and several informal meetings in the Rathskeller at the Memorial Union on campus. An earnest discussion group is maintained at Yahoo.com and news has circulated among bicycle groups. NOTE: The image in this story may be considered by some to be mildly not safe for work/children (Similar...

BOULDER, Colo.- A Colorado housing authority is backing off plans for new nudity regulations prompted by complaints about a pair of local nudists. Boulder Housing Partners officials said they are backing off plans for new rules for the northern Foothills Community, where neighbors complained about Catharine Pierce, 52, gardening outside of the home she shares with her husband and fellow nudist Robert while wearing nothing but thong underwear, the Boulder Daily Camera reported Thursday. The housing authority previously indicated it would include a ban on public display of female breasts after complaints about Pierce. However, officials said they are dropping...

About two dozen women took a walk down Congress Street topless Saturday, attracting a large crowd as they tried to preach that partial female nudity is not worthy of attracting a crowd. The point of the march was that a topless woman out in public should attract no more attention than a man walking around without a shirt on, said Ty MacDowell, 20, of Westbrook, who organized Saturday's event and promoted it on Facebook. But as the event got under way in Longfellow Square, the marchers were soon outnumbered by scores of onlookers -- mostly young men eagerly snapping...

A US man has been charged with indecent exposure for being naked in his own home. Erick Williamson, 29 was observed without clothes through a doorway and a window, by a seven-year-old boy and his mother who were walking by. Williamson argued that it was his home, and therefore he could choose to go nude. But a judge found against him, saying that he intended to make himself visible to passers-by. The Virginia man said he will appeal the decision. "I think that being tried and found guilty of something like this is outrageous," Williamson said after he was convicted...

While his almost-mother-in-law Sarah Palin hits the publicity trail this week for her autobiography Going Rogue, Levi Johnston will not be getting the exposure that originally had been promised. Contrary to earlier teases that the 19-year would leave nothing to the imagination in his Playgirl photo shoot, "He did not give 'full frontal' as his manager Tank [Jones] reported he would," Daniel Nardicio, a spokesman for Playgirl, tells New York's Daily News. The pictorial spread was shot last week. NBC News reports that publication, originally set for December, has been pushed up to this coming Saturday, Nov. 21.

"Art can never exist without naked beauty displayed," said William Blake. But the moral guardians of daytime TV take a different view. The Channel 4 programme Life Class caused conniptions last week by showing a woman sitting very still with no clothes on. The point of the programme is to replicate a real life class, with the viewers at home encouraged to pick up a pencil. The camera stays fixed on the model from one angle, only occasionally cutting away to take a peek at what the "tutor" – one of a series of distinguished artists – has drawn. It...

I have a suggestion for those in academia who are concerned that women be treated as intellectual equals: Try sexual modesty. Before the lynching party arrives, I hope I will have time to explain. I have taught at several colleges, one of which has a dress code. To many, a dress code seems old-fashioned at best, a puri-tyrannical breach of our right to freedom of speech at worst. (It should worry us that clothing is considered speech.) But allow me to present two examples -- male and female -- that illustrate how sexual modesty is related to the...

BROOKSVILLE, FL -- A Brooksville woman showed her displeasure with neighbors by walking around her yard with no clothes on, showing everything until she was finally arrested, Hernando County Sheriff's deputies said. Marilyn Incigeri was charged with exposure of sexual organs, a misdemeanor, and booked into the county jail. Deputy John Welch wrote in his incident report, "I observed the defendant, Marilyn Incigeri, standing on the rear porch of her residence with no clothes on. There were other neighbors present...and these neighbors had observed Marilyn exposing herself as well." According to neighbors, "Marilyn had been involved in an argument with...

Bali bombing cleric attacks western tourists By Nick Squires in Sydney Last Updated: 1:56am GMT 25/03/2008 Western tourists in Indonesia are "maggots, snakes and worms" who should be beaten up, the alleged mastermind of the 2002 Bali bombings has told hardline Islamic followers. Abu Bakar Bashir, the cleric who was convicted of conspiracy over the Bali bombings but later cleared and released from prison after 26 months, said the island resort had been overrun by scantily-clad tourists who deserved to be attacked for their immorality. "Worms, snakes, maggots... those are animals that crawl. Take a look at Bali... those infidel...

With a naked photoshoot coming up Indian model Padma Lakshmi could have been forgiven for putting herself on a strict diet. But the 38-year-old, who is author Salman Rushdie's ex, had no such concerns. 'I think I look better when I have a little bit of weight on - my breasts are fuller, and I’m curvier than when I’m at my thinnest,' she tells this month's edition of U.S. magazine Allure.

Like banishing beads and masks from Mardi Gras or removing the red carpet and gold statues from the Academy Awards, the banning of floats, beer and nudity at this year's Bay to Breakers will take all the fun out of it, many longtime revelers say. City leaders and sponsors of the 98th annual wacky footrace announced several major changes Wednesday that detractors say will turn the over-the-top, only-in-San Francisco party into a 12K footrace like any other race in any other city in the world. At the May 17 event, police will cite or arrest anybody openly drinking alcohol or...

Girls Gone Wild CEO Joe Francis and Hustler magazine publisher Larry Flynt say they have sent letters to Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and Representative Henry Waxman (D-Calif.) asking for $5 billion. “People don’t understand the importance of our industry in these hard economic times,” Francis said. “Men who’ve lost their jobs will have time on their hands. We can help occupy that time. Instead of roaming the streets looking for trouble, they can be safely diverted. Besides, Larry has some confidential information that many in Congress might find especially persuasive.”

Ryanair on Friday claimed Sweden's Trade Ethical Council against Sexism in Advertising (ERK) was out of touch with the "Britney Spears generation" after the agency accused the discount airline of running a sexist ad campaign. In defending the advertisement, Ryanair questioned whether the ERK accurately reflected the views of most Swedes. “We are sure that the anti-funsters at the ERK do not speak for the majority of the famously liberal and easy going Swedes,” the company said in a statement. “The ad simply reflects the way a lot of young girls like to dress. We hope the old farts at...

American actress Eva Mendes, who had jetted off to Australia for the 30 Days of Fashion and Beauty festival, was irked when her risque appearance in a Calvin Klein fragrance ad was cut off for showing too much skin. In the ad, Mendes could be seen naked and rolling about on a bed, which revealed too much to suit the conservative US audiences. "I''m completely American, I was born and raised in America and I love it but I think we are too quick to censor nudity," the Daily Telegraph quoted her as telling fashion editor Jen Melocco.

ST. PETERSBURG — The night started with a complaint about a giant penis statue. Before it was over, police had pinned the owner of the art gallery to the ground and taken him to jail. "Oh, my God," said gallery owner Bill Schramm, his glasses falling off in the scuffle. "This is the city's response to a penis. That's fabulous." Officers arrested Schramm and another man after a raid Friday night on the Erotic Lounge in the Grand Central District of St. Petersburg. It wasn't the statue that they were arrested for. Instead, investigators said they saw a nude man...

Women will continue to be barred from bathing topless at an indoor pool in the central Swedish town of Enköping following a decision by the town council’s recreation committee on Tuesday. Prior to the decision, committee member Stefan Brandberg cited concerns about the health of young girls in his opposition to the proposed lifting of the ban. “We believe that it can contribute to anorexia—there is a risk for that,” he said to the newspaper Expressen. Monica Hällgren, chair of the Enköping recreation committee, confirmed that one of the central arguments for leaving the ban in place was concern over...

You are probably here because you looked closely at the Starbucks logo and were a little confused about what is depicted on it. Is it a mermaid? What are those things that she is holding up with her hands? Wasn't the logo different before? What's the history of it? I asked those questions myself and did a little bit of digging. My research started with a book that I had, called A Dictionary of Symbols by J.E. Cirlot. In it there was a chapter about Sirens. Basically, from what I gathered from different sources, including that book, there is a...

It's often called the world's longest party, but this year's Bay to Breakers race through San Francisco was anything but fun for the residents, cops and public workers who bore the brunt of the drunken young "runners" who staggered around Golden Gate Park and the city's west side, relieving themselves wherever it proved convenient. "We tried to get out in front of the problem, but this year some of these kids were just beyond gone," said city Recreation and Park Department spokeswoman Rose Dennis. "The media covers this as some kind of wonderful party, but at the end, there is...

** EXCERPT ** WASHINGTON — He shot his hunting partner, but Vice President Dick Cheney apparently doesn't fly fish with naked women. Since Wednesday, the blogosphere has been atwitter over a photograph on the White House Web site of Cheney with a caption that said he was fly-fishing on the Snake River in Idaho. The photo is a tight shot of Cheney's face sporting dark sunglasses and his trademark grin. What's stirring all the buzz is the reflection in the vice president's dark glasses. Some thought that the reflection looked like a naked woman and, this being Cheney and this...

December 21, 2007 -- THE feud inside the New York Times over a provocative photo of a semi-nude, underage fashion model intensified this week after Times Magazine Editor Gerald Marzorati fired off a missive defending the photo. The picture in question appeared in the Holiday issue of the glitzy fashion insert T, which came out Dec. 2, and features a soft-focus side-shot glimpse of 17-year-old model Ali Michael, and her exposed left breast.

A female television presenter on TV4 has been charged after flashing her breast to an elderly man in Humlegĺrden park in Stockholm last summer. The stunt was to be part of comedy programme 'Raj Raj' but the man didn't see the funny side. Instead he reported the woman, who is now the subject of a police enquiry, reports Metro. Despite the fact that the presenter repeatedly apologised to the man and assured him that the scene would not be broadcast, he refused to withdraw his allegations. The episode was to be shown on what TV4 describes as 'a Swedish comedy...

Boycott on Miller Beer Working, Keep Up Pressure Urges Catholic League Miller supported parade featured stripper in cage hoisted above church during mass By John-Henry Westen SAN FRANCISCO, October 1, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The Catholic League in the United States which, along with 200 supporting groups, last week launched a boycott of Miller Brewing Co. has indicated that the boycott is having an effect. Boycott of Miller Beer Launched Because of Sponsorship of Sadomasochistic, Anti-Christian Gay Parade WASHINGTON, DC, September 27, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Catholic League president Bill Donohue announced a national boycott of Miller Beer on this morning's "Fox and Friends." The boycott comes after leading Christian groups were outraged at Miller's sponsorship of a sadomasochistic, anti-Christian homosexual parade which regularly includes full nudity and public sex acts. "Never have we experienced greater corporate arrogance than in this dispute with the Miller Brewing Company. Miller is sponsoring an incredibly outrageous and palpably anti-Christian event in San Francisco: the Folsom Street Fair," explained Donohue....

Women from a new Polish political party have stripped off in a controversial poster campaign ahead of national elections. Seven candidates from the Women's Party are featured posing behind a billboard that reads: "The party of women. Poland is a woman." The attention-grabbing move is making waves in staunchly Catholic Poland, where the ruling Kaczynski twins have pushed a fiercely conservative agenda. Writer Manuela Gretkowska said she founded the party as the Polish government considered tightening already strict controls on abortion. "It is the straw that broke the camel's back," she said, adding that Poland's political scene was usually run...

Two female students are demanding their rights after they were banned from bathing topless at a swimming pool in Uppsala. Ragnhild Karlsson, 22, and her friend Kristin Karlsson, 21, live on the same corridor in a student residence in the university town. On September 5th they took a trip to the Fyrishov leisure complex, where they decided to hop in for a swim without their bikini tops. Though the pool was full of swimmers, a female lifeguard eventually caught sight of the...

Toronto Police Slough Off Gay Pride-Related Criminality By Tony Gosgnach TORONTO, September 11, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) - In response to media reports of apparently criminal moral and sexual excesses associated with this year’s “gay pride” events in Toronto this past summer – and what seemed to be a police conflict-of-interest with respect to them – the Life Ethics Information Centre wrote seeking clarification to the mayor of Toronto, David Miller, Police Chief William Blair and the chair of the Toronto Police Services Board, Alok Mukherjee. In its letter, the LEIC began by referring to a “Pride Week Reception” that the Toronto...

I was walking through Wal-Mart this evening with my 9-year old son picking up some groceries. When we were all done, we went to the magazine section just prior to checking out. While I was standing there, I saw a young man of about 25-30 years old walking toward the register next to the magazines. Something struck me as odd, and I finally realized that it was his pants - they were down around his mid-thigh, so that his boxer shorts were fully exposed. The next thing I noticed, and I will forever rue the day that I saw this,...

Years ago, Woody Allen used to joke that he'd been thrown out of college as a freshman for cheating on his metaphysics final. "I looked within the soul of the boy sitting next to me," he confessed. Today, the joke is on us. Cameras follow your car, GPS tracks your cell phone, software monitors your Web surfing, X-rays explore your purse, and airport scanners see through your clothes. Now comes the final indignity: machines that look into your soul. With the aid of functional magnetic resonance imaging, neuroscientists have been hard at work on Allen's fantasy. Under controlled conditions, they...

SALEM, Ore. - Supporters of a bill being considered by state lawmakers say it would close a loophole in the state's private indecency law. House Bill 3317 would amend the law by making exposure illegal when it is in view of a place where another person has an expectation of privacy. For instance, it would make it illegal to run around your yard naked in view of others. That is what Rainier's so-called "naked neighbor" Jimmy "Mack" McKenzie has been doing for years. A Team 2 investigation on McKenzie's nude - and some would say lewd - behavior outside his...

A Lemon Bay High School music teacher would rather give up his day job than stop stripping at night in the musical "The Full Monty" at the Venice Little Theatre. Jason Brenner, who is in his third year as a part-time music teacher at the Englewood high school, said Lemon Bay administrators gave him a letter Thursday that offered him three options: "stop doing the show; continue the show but take yourself out of the last scene so that you're not naked on stage, or continue doing the show at full capacity but hand in a letter of resignation." Brenner...

Filming your neighbour having sex is legal As long as you are not caught in the act it is legal to film your neighbours naked, or even having sex. That is the conclusion reached by prosecutor Bo Birgersson, who has just dropped the charges against a 20 year old man accused of filming 20 of his neighbours in various states of undress. "It is not possible to be molested without one's knowledge. And even if you find out after the act that somebody has been peeping at you it is not enough to bring about a conviction," Birgersson told Sydsvenskan....

Bogotá, Nov. 03, 2006 (CNA) - Bishop Ramon Dario Molina of Neiva expressed disgust this week over a photographer who managed to sneak past security to shoot photos of a nude model at the local Cathedral. Bishop Molina said the photographer deserves to spend “a few hours in jail” for the stunt, which has caused outrage among the residents of Neiva in southern Colombia. “It’s disrespectful. It merits at least a few hours in jail so they will learn their lesson,” he told reporters. The photographer, identified as Reynel Llanos, chose the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Neiva to...
