Did Operation Chaos Elect Obama?

Obama campaign manager David Plouffe reflects in an interview: "We went through as rigorous a primary as we've ever seen in our country's history, I think, and there's no doubt that made us a stronger general election candidate. A lot of our dirty laundry was aired, and we had practice in testing a campaign...because we had been through 54 primaries and caucuses, and run the gauntlet. McCain hadn't done that."

Did Limbaugh Keep the Clinton Dynasty Alive?

Rush: “Ladies and gentlemen, I want to start the hour here by restating the origins of Operation Chaos and the goal, because I am continuing to receive mail, e-mail from people, you, who listen in this audience, who are getting panicked and paranoid that Mrs. Clinton is going to end up winning this whole thing and that it will be my fault and that if that happens, you are never, ever, going to listen to this program again.” “Former US president Bill Clinton said he would back his wife Hillary if she became secretary of state but has even bigger...

How Rush Limbaugh helped elect Barack Obama

Conservative radio buffoon Rush Limbaugh thinks of himself as an ace strategist and so he thought he was being extremely clever back in March when he launched "Operation Chaos" an effort to undermine frontrunner Barack Obama's chances in the fall election by prolonging the Democratic primary season and forcing Obama to deplete his resources early. Rushbo, accordingly, urged his conservative Republican listeners to take advantage of open primaries in many thats that allow non-Democrats to participate and vote for Hilary Clinton in order to drag the race out as long as possible. Brilliant eh? And how mischievous! Unfortunately the Limbaugh...

VANITY (Sorry) Just a Question! What ever happened to "Operation Chaos"?

Did Operation Chaos die or is it still in effect? Rush has never said a word about that recently! What about the PUMA vote? Do you think any of those will have any effect on tomorrow's election? I am so wishing for McCain and Palin to win. I voted for Palin. What are your thoughts?

The Power of P.U.M.A On Display at the Polls in Florida…

99% of Democrats support Obama right? Wrong. Take a look at this snippet coming out of Florida: Democrats are beaming that their party is outperforming the Republicans in early voting, releasing numbers Wednesday that show registrants of their party ahead 54 percent to 30 percent among the 1.4 million voters who have gone to the polls early. but guess what the same article goes on to state? A Los Angeles Times/Bloomberg poll gave McCain a 49-45 lead over Democrat Barack Obama among Floridians who have already voted. So Obama has a 6.4% advantage in turnout , yet is losing by...

Why the polls are incorrect: Is Mc Cain actually in the lead? (Vanity)

Why the polls are incorrect: Is Mc Cain actually in the lead? (Vanity) First let me apologize to all of you who are tired of the vanities, but felt we needed this conversation. It occurred to me last evening while watching Laura on O’Reilly. She stated it really upset her that there were so many more democrats registered then Republicans. One of those “”A-HA!” moments hit me. I work the polls in one of the larger districts in our area. Last fall many of my republican friends and neighbors (Approximately 10% that I was aware of)) requested “D” ballots. Several...

I see the polls, and by all the looks, Obama is winning BUT he is NOT over 50% in most polls and the MccCain vote is in the low 40s or even high 30s (Fox) this is nonsense, and us conservatives KNOW it Here is my though The Hillary voters who HATE Barry and will never vote for him must be at least 30% that is about 0.3 * 18 Million = 6 million folks My theory is that they are ALL SAYING thy will vote for Barry, and then come election day will not only NOT vote for him...

A forgotten fact that explains why many of the polls are so inaccurate

I'm a registered democrat and have always voted republican. Why is this might you ask? I registered as a democrat to vote in primaries! Thus all these articles that point out the spike in democrat registrations forget that a large number of republicans re-registered as democrats this spring. There is no way in hell they'll vote for Obama. Does no one remember "Operation Chaos" led by Rush Limbaugh? These polls are overweighting democrats (and minorities too) big time as a result of this fallacy. Look at Pennsylvania as a great example! The number of democrat registrations was abnormally large.

When are we going to be allowed to blame Rush for Obama?

Up until today I was sure that McCain would win..and I've always thought he'd win by alot. I didn't take into account just how unfair the press was going to be. It's a never ending drumbeat, like the article that was posted last week. It's unrelenting..and it's always negative towards McCain and positive towards the "ONE." But it looks like it's working and we might have a President BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA.
TENNESSEE Democratic Party committee throws out state senator's victory

NASHVILLE - The Tennessee Democratic Party Executive Committee has voted to declare state Sen. Rosalind Kurita's thin primary victory invalid. The panel voted 33-11 on Saturday to declare Kurita's 19-vote August victory "incurably uncertain" after her opponent, Clarksville attorney Tim Barnes, alleged heavy Republican interference in the Democratic nominating contest. A joint convention of the Democratic executive committees in Cheatham, Houston and Montgomery counties will now determine who the nominee will be. There is no Republican running in the general election. Barnes' candidacy was boosted by Democrats who were upset that Kurita helped unseat John Wilder, a Mason Democrat, from...

Polls: Obama makes inroads with Clinton voters

CHICAGO - As Barack Obama prepares to resume campaigning today, polls show that he has made inroads with former Hillary Rodham Clinton backers and hit the 50 percent support mark among registered voters for the first time. It's a typical post-convention bounce that Obama will be looking to sustain as he travels to Ohio today and Pennsylvania tomorrow. According to a Gallup daily tracking poll released yesterday, 81 percent of Clinton supporters say they will back Obama, up from 70 percent before the convention. Sixty-five percent of those voters are certain they will vote for the Illinois senator, up from...

In one sense, it's incomprehensible that Barack Obama would forgo an opportunity to reunite his party by picking Hillary Clinton as his running mate. But in his place, wouldn't you be willing to sacrifice a little if it guaranteed you'd never have to view and smell Bill Clinton's sock feet propped up on the Oval Office desk? But whatever will this messianic emissary of change do to unite his party? That is a legitimate question, is it not, since unity, harmony, love and bliss have been Obama's main campaign themes since his entry onto the presidential campaign stage? How, inquiring...

The are two kinds of demonstrators rallying outside the Pepsi arena and throughout the Mile High City - but only one can really wreck the Democrats' love-fest. First, we have the street activists who operate outside mainstream politics and tend to argue for radical positions. Unlike in 1968, the dedicated anti-war liberals come off as sober, savvy, and fixated on long-term goals. The second group is the collection of rambunctious pro-Hillary Clinton loyalists who are doing their best to create chaos within the convention - and real trouble for party nominee Barack Obama. The Clinton die-hards seem like political brats...

DENVER -- Stop wallowing, the primary election is over. That was the message House Speaker Nancy Pelosi delivered this morning even as she acknowledged that reconciliation between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton camps was not yet complete. She told reporters before addressing the California delegation that women will be the key to beating John McCain, and she considered it a personal mission to get more women behind Obama. A majority of women support Obama, according to recent polls, but recent polls also suggest as many as one in four Clinton supporters would vote for Republican presumptive nominee John McCain. "There's...
