ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- A documentary on Sarah Palin will have its TV debut on ReelzChannel, the digital cable network announced. "The Undefeated," which chronicles the former Alaska governor's career, will premiere March 11 -- one night after HBO shows the film "Game Change," which sees Julianne Moore portray Palin during her run as vice president in 2008. "We're thrilled to have yet another opportunity to bring a big story to viewers," ReelzChannel CEO Stan E. Hubbard said in a statement cited Tuesday by The Hollywood Reporter. "Sarah Palin is a charismatic figure who burst onto the political scene, and whatever...

In honor of Presidents Day, Sarah Palin released a new video on her political action committee’s website, The move has some asking: is Palin preparing for a brokered convention? Entitled “Chords of Memory,” the video calls for restoring America — set against the visual backdrop of presidential monuments and Palin herself. Palin begins by saying: We stand today at the symbolic crossroads of our nation’s history, and all around us are monuments to those who have sustained us over the years in word or deed, the towering presence of the great emancipator who secured our union at the moment...

MESA, Ariz. -- In a whispering campaign not ready to go public, some senior Republicans are so anxious about the state of the GOP race they are actually considering the unheard of: a scenario that would lead to another candidate entering the Republican primary race, and potentially an open convention. They are not unhappy enough, however, to go on the record calling for another candidate to enter the fray. In fact, when pressed, many Republicans say the chatter about another candidate is inevitable in this long and inconclusive primary process. They also say it's just not likely to happen. Why?...

The United States of America is becoming more like Nazi Germany every single day. In fact, the Nazification of America is almost complete. The parallels between Nazi Germany and the United States of today are going to absolutely shock many of you. Most Americans simply have never learned what life was really like back in Nazi Germany. Under Adolf Hitler, Germany was a Big Brother totalitarian police state that ruthlessly repressed freedom and individual liberty. Under Adolf Hitler, Germany adopted socialism, dramatically increased government spending and raised taxes to astronomical levels. Under Adolf Hitler, abortion became legal in Germany, the...

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney's struggles in Michigan are fueling speculation that Republicans might have to resort to a doomsday scenario and launch a frantic search for a 2012 savior at their nominating convention in late August....How did Republicans get to this point? Romney's failure to get conservatives fully behind him and put down yet another challenger in the party - this time it's Rick Santorum - is causing angst in the party. One of the more fascinating aspects of writing about Sarah Palin is how other people react so irrationally to her. Julianne Moore, an actress who is purported to play her in an upcoming HBO film "Game Change," does not like her one bit. Big Hollywood has reported how the actress has trashed the politician she plays, claiming she was "unqualified" to be vice president. Now a new narrative is arising about the former Alaska governor that is more suggestive of Machiavelli than of a bimbo. In respect of the candidacy of Hillary Clinton to be president of the World Bank, let us just say that it’s a terrible idea. This is not a quarrel with Mrs. Clinton per se; had we been endorsing in the Democratic primary for president in 2008, we’d have put in a word for her, even if by our lights Barack Obama has a more presidential personality. It happens, though, that we’ve followed the World Bank for decades, and the key feature of the whole World Bank system is the conditionality it imposes on its lending. Its presidency is a pulpit...

Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum shoots to the top among Ohio likely Republican primary voters with 36 percent, followed by 29 percent for former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, according to a Quinnpiac University poll released today. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich runs third with 20 percent, while Texas U.S. Rep Ron Paul gets 9 percent. Three weeks before the March 6 primary, 50 percent of likely Republican primary voters say they may change their mind. The first survey of likely voters can not be compared with earlier surveys of registered Republicans.

  • What the Huffington Post Didn't Report: Andrew Breitbart's DEFENSE of CPAC Against Occupy

The Internet was abuzz this weekend when Andrew Breitbart was captured on video taking on a group of occupiers who were protesting CPAC at the Wardman Marriott in Washington, D.C. Video posted by the Huffington Post showed Breitbart facing off with a group of about a hundred Occupy demonstrators who were shouting leftist epithets. Andrew responded by shouting, “Stop raping people! Murderers!” At first glance, when only watching the Huffington Post footage, it may seem like Andrew lost his cool, and that he was provoking these otherwise peaceful demonstrators. What the Huffington Post did not report is why Andrew marched...
  • Is Sarah Palin still a threat to Obama?

Mitt Romney may have won the straw poll at the end of the three-day Conservative Political Action Conference in D.C. over the weekend, but CPAC's real star was Sarah Palin, says Josh Lederman at The Hill. Among the many speakers, the former Alaska governor "received far-and-away the most spirited and enthusiastic reception" from the 10,000 conservative activists in attendance. And the former vice presidential candidate, who opted out of the 2012 presidential race in October, "appeared to relish her role as conservative attack dog, blasting Obama and Democrats," and bringing the crowd repeatedly to its feet. Is Palin, even from...
  • Dear Mitt Romney: Don't Change on Account of Sarah Palin (Laff riot!)

Sarah Palin is weighing in on the GOP nomination race. She appears to have something to say about everyone and has little positive to say. It's almost embarrassing for the Republican Party to have her voice an opinion. Palin comes across less like an expert on campaigning and more like a washed-up booth babe trying to show she does have something useful to say. Of particular note are her recent jabs at Mitt Romney. She's calling him out for not being far enough to the political right. The former vice-presidential candidate might be suggesting Romney adopt a stance more like...
  • It's not a BROKERED convention... [VANITY]

Quick note: I've been hearing people mention a BROKERED convention a lot. It's a pretty interesting scenario, but we should be clear about the terminology. If no one candidate doesn't have the delegates to claim a first-ballot majority, it's a DEADLOCKED convention. Brokered means that big power brokers would give their blocks of delegates to a candidate in exchange for something of value to them. That's the kind of thing we'd expect from lib union bosses. In a Deadlocked convention, since it's after the first ballot, delegates are free to vote for whomever they want. So, the question I have...
  • SARAH PALIN: Professor Dershowitz Is Right About Media Matters

Harvard University Professor Alan Dershowitz is one of the most knowledgeable and unapologetic defenders of Israel among American academics. This has unfortunately opened him to unfair and intellectually dishonest attacks from his fellow liberals. In answering a recent attack by Max Blumenthal, formerly of Media Matters for America (MMfA), Prof. Dershowitz said, “Let me tell you, Max Blumenthal and Media Matters will be singlehandedly responsible for (Obama) losing this election. They (the Democrats) cannot win the election and keep this affiliation with them.”I agree with Prof. Dershowitz, though obviously I think there are many, many more reasons why President Obama...

If one doubted Sarah Palin wields great power by virtue of her charisma and persona, that notion was laid to rest during her speech at the CPAC convention when she had the overflow audience on their feet numerous times. None of the presidential candidates, least of all front-runner Mitt Romney, got anywhere near that warm of reception. Newt Gingrich, who delivered a classic speech filled with ideas, came closest. But Gingrich has faltered somewhat in his presidential run. Romney still won the CPAC straw poll, likely because he filled the venue with enough of his supporters to pull off a...
  • Letter: Palin’s GOP too far-right for me

Did you ever think that perhaps “conservative enough” by Sarah Palin’s standards might be too far right for the rest of us Republicans and independents? Most of us are not wealthy and are neither racist nor homophobic. We are not all evangelical Christians. We are merely commonsense people, most of whom have faith in God, but respect people who do not share our faith (we pray for them rather than judge them); we believe strongly in fiscal restraint, less government intrusion in our lives, a fair taxation system and an agenda that is not only without discrimination but also includes...
