Planned Parenthood Launches TV Ad Campaign To Defend Obama’s Attack On Catholics… Payback for all support (and taxpayer cash) Obama has bestowed on Planned Parenthood. Via LifeNews: The Planned Parenthood abortion business is defending President Barack Obama’s decision to put in place a mandate forcing religious employers to pay for insurance coverage for their employees that covers birth control or drugs that may cause abortions. The Obama Administration issued a statement re-iterating the “contraceptive mandate” requiring all insurance providers cover the full range of FDA-approved drugs and devices would remain intact. This mandate, issued in August, includes drugs that work...

** Please take time and thank Komen for the Cure for doing the right thing – HERE. Leftists hacked into Susan G. Komen website last night after the organization withdrew its support for the Planned Parenthood abortion organization. Gather.com reported: "Was breast cancer research and fundraising giant Susan G. Komen hacked? It appeared that way when Wednesday night, when those who logged into the sight were greeted with an unorthodox message, likely a result of their changing policies involving Planned Parenthood. For the few that accessed the site around 12:30AM on Thursday, they were redirected from the regular site (www.komen.org)...

International Planned Parenthood Federation, the international affiliate of the nation’s biggest abortion business, has released a new strategic plan for the Africa Region for 2010 to 2015 that calls for an 82 percent increase in the number of abortions. Penny Starr of CNS News reports on the new numbers: That number is in Figure 2, the “performance framework” of the plan (page 7), under “performance milestones/benchmarks” and notes its expectation of an “82 percent increase in abortion services: 212,021 services by 2013, and 273,656 by 2015.” Also, in Table 1 – “Key result areas, outcomes, outputs and selected indicators, IPPFAR...

Last week the 2009-2010 Planned Parenthood annual report was released and it shows that the leading abortion group had suffered a significant decline in private contributions. In 2009 they reported 308 million in private donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations yet in 2010 they saw that number fall to 223.8 million. The chart below illustrates the drop-off:

Planned Parenthood texting sex info to young people Parents, do you know who is texting your kids? Anyone who has seen Planned Parenthood’s disgusting websites for teens and its sex education programs will be devastated to learn that a one-on-one chat between a child and a Planned Parenthood operative is now only a text message away. The perverse, sex-belching abortion giant announced recently its “In Case You’re Curious” texting program specifically targeting Denver area youth. Adding fuel to the fire of the “sexting” craze, Planned Parenthood stands to do more one-on-one damage to adolescents through its sex message texting service...

Each fall, United Way focuses on fundraising campaigns. Most people encounter these requests for giving through their workplace. The United Way encourages individuals to donate to a variety of local charitable organizations or to the United Way itself. Each local United Way determines whom they will support through their grant programs and their lists of charitable organizations in the area. While most United Way organizations claim they do not fund programs for abortion services, in truth, some do support Planned Parenthood or other abortion-advocate agencies. The national United Way does fund Planned Parenthood; their website states: No United Way funds...

The pro-life group Operation Rescue has released a new timeline covering, very specifically, all of the details related to the massive scandal involving HHS Secretary and former Kansas governor Kathleen Sebelius. The Obama official has come under heavy fire from prolife groups who are pointing out how a state attorney general she appointed in Kansas destroyed documents related 107 criminal charges former Kansas Attorney General Phill Kline filed against the abortion business. The charges alleged that planned Parenthood failed to report cases of child rape on children on whom Planned Parenthood did abortions, that it failed to test whether an...

Fr. Albert Cutie taking the easy way once again, agreeing with everyone in the room for his show rather than facing a hard truth. And Ann Coulter, in her always kind manner, dropping the "Who's the Christian here?" on him. Oof. Fr. Cutie was a priest who had his own talk show and was kind of a big deal until he got caught on the beach with a woman (if you know what I mean). Then, he left the priesthood and joined the Episcopal Church, I believe, where he's resumed his road to stardom and publicly criticized the Catholic Church...

Dem senators want to warn states against targeting Planned ParenthoodPosted by Stephanie Condon May 27, 2011 10:10 AM Thirty Democratic senators sent a letter to the Obama administration on Thursday, urging them to warn Medicaid directors at the state level that it's against the law to block Medicaid funds or Title X family planning funds from going to clinics that provide abortion services, like Planned Parenthood. The letter comes in response to Indiana's new law, which took effect May 10, barring state agencies from entering contracts with or giving grants to entities (besides hospitals) that perform abortions. Republican lawmakers in...

Boehner could probably get away with dropping the PP rider from the House budget bill if Reid was prepared to agree to a number close to $61 billion in cuts. But to meet roughly only halfway, at or around $33 billion, and still drop some of the red meat like defunding PP that the base craved? He’s burning the candle of grassroots credibility at both ends. Risky business. Forty-one senators have pledged to filibuster any bipartisan spending bill that includes an amendment to strip federal funding from Planned Parenthood, threatening an impasse with House conservatives. The group, led by Sen. Barbara...

Just as Congress is trying to end federal funding to Planned Parenthood across the nation comes revelations that the Planned Parenthood affiliate in Central Washington has apparently been hiring unlicensed nurses. This is the same Planned Parenthood which we exposed for having tried to force a teenager into an abortion, and then trying to stop a police officer from rescuing her by citing fictional laws. In the course of reviewing other police reports involving this organization, we found one case where a large supply of fentanyl, a regulated pain narcotics used to reduce the physical pain during a first-trimester abortion,...

Two pro-life groups that cater to young people have announced the winners of a contest they jointly sponsored to encourage young people to produce videos urging the revocation of taxpayer funding for the Planned Parenthood abortion business. The contest was designed to support the Pence Amendment, which the House of Representatives approved, but which the U.S. Senate defeated — although both chambers of Congress are still debating how to solve the federal budget issue and whether Planned Parenthood will receive federal funds. After receiving dozens of videos from youth across the country explaining why Congress should de-fund Planned Parenthood, Live...

Why are Republicans waging war on contraception? It's not the first time the question has been asked, and it won't be the last. Truth be told, Republicans aren't engaging in battle on that front -- but the phrase gets close to a legitimate fight. Congress, for its part, held an unprecedented vote in the House in February to end funding of Planned Parenthood. It's not a permanent or final vote; it was attached to a short-term move to keep the government funded. The debate in Congress was given momentum by the Live Action investigatory videos, which raised significant questions about...

SOUTHERN INDIANA — If you are raising children, or in a supervisory position telling your children how to raise their children, and you are suffering, call me. No, don’t. I’m too involved with the younger generation, those 55 and below, who are about to drive me nuts. When growing up, I never broke a Ten Commandment, especially, the one that says, “Obey.” Have you ever had a child, who, when you said, “Obey, it’s in the Bible,” said to you, “You’re not God.” A foreign observer remarked what surprised him, “is the way American parents obey their children.” I’ve warned...

WASHINGTON — The House has approved a Republican proposal to block federal aid for Planned Parenthood. The 240-185 vote on Friday is a victory for anti-abortion forces led by Indiana GOP Rep. Mike Pence. He says taxpayer money should not go to groups that provide or promote abortion. Democrats say Planned Parenthood provides contraception and other valuable family planning services, and that cutting off the money will make it hard for women to get such basic help.

The Planned Parenthood Federation of America is signaling its intention to dominate the national sex education agenda. Specifically, Planned Parenthood's Web site announced the group is preparing to launch a nationwide “social change initiative” to end the “stigma and shame about sex” in American culture. The project aims to teach parents and caregivers how to educate children about sex -- from birth. And it recommends telling teenagers about masturbation, oral sex and “where to go for help to prepare to be sexually active.”

If you’ve ever seen Teen Mom, you know that it in no way glorifies teen parenthood. Those young moms and dads are struggling, and despite the rumors that MTV pays them around $60,000 a season, (which MTV refuses to comment on) many of them are shown relying on government assistance to get by. The young women on the show, as much as their lives are put under the microscope, do get famous in their way.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has had a long week. She's had to explain to donors why White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs is predicting she'll lose her gavel in the fall, pressure the White House to pay enough attention to House races, and also calm members and end the party infighting. Thursday night, she got a break. At an event hosted by Planned Parenthood on Capitol Hill, Pelosi received rock-star treatment from 300 energetic high-school and college-student volunteers clad in hot-pink T-shirts and flip flops. The students came to Washington from around the country to lobby lawmakers on the implementation...

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- New Valentine's Day cards from Planned Parenthood and a national organization for "pro-choice" doctors don't have the typical phrases like "Be Mine" or "I Love You." Instead, the promotional cards promote abortion, condoms and promiscuity. Jodi Magee, the head of Physicians for Reproductive Choice and Health, emailed supporters of abortion practitioners and pro-abortion doctors letting them know of their special Valentine's Day cards. "Let pro-choice physicians know that you appreciate them. With the stigma and harassment our doctors face, they deserve to know that they make us proud," she says.

An image from a TV ad for gay marriage, reproduced in the January 18 New Yorker, provides a Rorschach test for reactions to America’s ongoing revolution in family structure. Two men in black suits stand shoulder to shoulder in a group of people, looking into each other’s eyes. In their arms are two newborns in white baby clothes and blankets. Though it’s not immediately apparent from the photo, the men are at a baptism for their infants. The ad, still being test-marketed, is called “Family Values,” and is intended to emphasize the “conventionality of gay couples,” explains the New Yorker....

A former director of a Texas Planned Parenthood branch who resigned after she watched an ultrasound-guided abortion told WND the clinic was pushing employees to strive for abortion quotas to boost profits. The former director of a Planned Parenthood clinic in southeast Texas says she had a "change of heart" after watching an abortion last month — and she quit her job and joined a pro-life group in praying outside the facility. Abby Johnson, 29, used to escort women from their cars to the clinic in the eight years she volunteered and worked for Planned Parenthood in Bryan, Texas. But she says she knew it was time to leave after she watched a fetus "crumple" as it was vacuumed out of a patient's uterus in September.

Disney has long been the most gay friendly studio in Hollywood, having had a couple of gay production chiefs over the years, most recently Nina Jacobson, now an independent producer after being forced out in a studio purge several years ago. The studio's theme parks have allowed unofficial Gay Day celebrations for years, prompting a host of venemous attacks from various Christian right anti-gay zealots. But Disney now has a really big first -- Rich Ross, Hollywood's first openly gay studio chief.

Last fall I took my daughter to school one morning to find one of her 1st grade classmates wearing an Obama hat. On March 20, 1969, Dr. Richard Day, the National Medical Director of the Rockefeller-sponsored "Planned Parenthood" told a meeting that American industry will be sabotaged and shown to be uncompetitive. In view of the recent bankruptcy of General Motors, his remarks are especially pertinent. "The stated plan was that different parts of the world would be assigned different roles of industry and commerce in a unified global system. The continued preeminence of the United States and the relative independence and self-sufficiency of the United States would have to be changed... in order to create a new structure, you first have...

I go to bed the moment it gets dark in the evenings, but I still don't like to get up until the later morning hours. What they don't know is I sleep all day when they are gone. He'd practice playing catch in the yard with his dad, and I'd watch. For hours he'd practice shooting hoops in the driveway. I'd watch and listen to the rhythm of his dribbling. When...

JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) — Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has appointed a state judge who once served on the board of Planned Parenthood to the state Supreme Court, against the urgings of a conservative group who claimed the pick would put "another activist" on the court. Anchorage Superior Court Judge Morgan Christen, 47, will be the second woman to serve on the state's high court. Former Gov. Tony Knowles appointed current Chief Justice Dana Fabe in 1996. Christen was one of two judges recommended for the post by the Alaska Judicial Council, an independent citizen's commission that evaluates judicial appointments for...

The Blueprint for Heroic Family Life by Dr. Jeff Mirus, June 13, 2008 Owing to the confluence of an East-coast heat wave and the failure of a home air conditioning system, my son Peter, his wife Kristina and their two daughters lived with Mom and Dad again for a few days this week. MARRIAGE is a constant source of joy, but introducing children into the relationship will send your happiness in a downward spiral, a conference has been told. [...] The more kids you had, the sadder you were likely to be, [Harvard psychology professor Daniel] Gilbert said. US and European studies had shown that people's happiness did spike while they were expecting a baby but sharply plummeted after the child was born. The low point came when children reached the ages of 12-16, and recovered only when they had flown the coop, he said. "In reality ... children do seem to increase...

In the speech the senator said, "There will always be people, many of goodwill, who do not share my view on the issue of choice. On this fundamental issue, I will not yield and Planned Parenthood will not yield."...

National antiabortion leaders put the finishing touches yesterday on a letter to be sent to all members of Congress, urging suspension of more than $300 million in federal funding of Planned Parenthood until a massive criminal case brought in Kansas against the abortion rights organization is settled. That launches an attack against the nation's largest purveyor of "reproductive health care" -- including abortions. On Oct. 17, Johnson County District Judge James F. Vano in suburban Kansas City spent eight hours reviewing a 107-count grand jury indictment against Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri. He decided there was "probable cause" to...

A Planned Parenthood clinic was charged Wednesday with providing unlawful abortions and other crimes by a county prosecutor who had engaged in a high-profile battle with the clinic when he was Kansas attorney general. Besides 29 misdemeanor counts of providing unlawful late-term abortions, the clinic is charged with multiple counts of making a false writing, failure to maintain records and failure to determine viability. Case documents have been sealed, according to a court order. The first hearing is set for Nov....

As a poor boy who became educated and semi-successful due to conservative values, I’m wondering what should I do to raise a 5 year old daughter and a 2 week old son. Human observation would tell me to open up a savings account for them, work hard and try to balance earning income while being a good husband and father figure. “Poor” values lead me to think that sex will never be the same and I should balance “Human Observation” with “Poor Values”. “Modern” values seem to be “Poor Values”. “Conservative” values seem to require that I have a responsibility...

Leibovitz is holding one of the chubby twins on her hip. All four are gently smiling.
