Merry Christmas my fellow Freepers and Fine Friends! Here we are on the Monday before Christmas, and I am looking for great new Christmas pictures this week that I can feature on the front page of my website. I have a place reserved at my site that usually sees 3-4 of the snarkiest political cartoons that I can find, but this week I want to do things a bit differently. I know I must be part Japanese the way I favor a digital camera, and I'm sure I'm not alone. I'll put up a few of my own offerings, and...

Post-election, the former VP nominee strips down and soaks up some rays in Miami.Posted on 11/14/2008 12:39 PM by Celebuzz Things may not have worked out so well for Sarah Palin in the election, but John McCain's former running mate is already experiencing sunny days again. The Alaska governor—who caught some heat for her expensive campaign wardrobe—hit the pool in Miami in considerably less ostentatious clothes yesterday, donning a pair of skimpy shorts while basking in the tropical climate of Florida. The 44-year-old former beauty queen was in town for a gathering of the Republican Governors Association yesterday, where GOP...

Awesome. I just received spam mail from Field & Stream mag with a link to these pics. One has to think that she will strike many as a true fellow sportsman instead of fakes like John F'in Kerry.

There was a pic of Kerry head butting a soccer ball. It was from the '04 campaign. I think on a tarmac. He looked like an ape with his arms hanging out. His face appeared like a chimp. I can't find it anywhere. (It's NOT this pic:Thanks!

It's summer, which means it's time for the stars to flaunt their sexy figures and glowing tans in itsy-bitsy, teeny-weeny, really skimpy bikinis. But that's okay - less is more when it comes to bikini fashion, and bright colors, bold prints and sexy stripes make up for any lack of coverage. Spy pics reveal ancient settlements August 03, 2006 06:51pm AUSTRALIAN researchers studying declassified spy satellite images have found widespread remains of ancient human settlements dating back 130,000 years in Syria. The photographs were taken by United States military surveillance satellites operating under the CIA and defence-led Corona program in the late 1960s. The team of researchers travelled to the Euphrates River Valley in April and June and searched sites they had painstakingly identified using the images, which were only declassified in the late 1990s. Group leader Mandy Mottram, a PhD student at the Australian National University's School of Archaeology and...

A group of stunning Brazilian stewardesses from the former airline Varig are negotiating a contract with the Brazilian edition of Playboy magazine for the publication of nude photographs. Sources from the magazine in Brazil revealed the idea is a repeat of the Playboy 2002 experience in the United States with former personnel from the scandalous bankruptcy of the Enron Group. According to ER Communications, which manages Playboy's public relations in Brazil "a negotiation is on" with Varig staff, but no agreement has been reached yet, and if an agreement is reached, "there's no timetable for the publication of the pictures."...

Fifty ways to kill Zacharias Moussaui It looks like Zacharias Moussaui may have to be sent to meet the 72 virgins in hell. With that in mine, here are some the ways the Government can administer Justice to Zacharias Moussaui. 1. Place Zacharias Moussaui in a chair. Using an industrial strength crane, hoist 150 ft. above Zacharias Moussaui a 900 lbs. pot-belly pig. Drop the 900 lbs. pig onto Zacharias Moussaui. 2. Force Zacharias Moussaui to watch GIGLI, BASIC INSTINCT 2, ALEXANDER, CATWOMAN, SUPERBABIES: BABY GENIUSES 2, WHITE CHICKS, JERSEY GIRL, and other Razzie Award winning movies. This will force...

Hello shutterbug FReepers and photo enthusiasts. Two weeks ago I started a weekly photography thread with TEXAS WINDMILLS, but last Saturday night my computer crashed, so I had to skip a week. Sorry about that. The theme now is SUNRISE/DAYBREAK. I am not usually an early bird, but I have managed to get a few sunrise shots despite my preference to sleep in. Please post your own favorite sunrise photos here -- not someone else's work, but your very own. No cheating with sunsets. ~ValerieUSA

Lots of pictures, and even video! It might take a while to load, so you can read this summary of the event while you wait. :-) Today, several FReepers, the Central Florida Chapter of Protest Warrior, and many others went out to counter protest an anti-war/anti-troops protest led by the group "Not in Our Name", of who Martin Sheen and Susan Sarandon are a part of. We wanted to show Orlando that we supported the troops and the president. The PW Chapter leader Zachary Bauer had spent a long time organizing the event, and Matchett-PI of FR had been passing...

I'm not sure how it came up, but I had some lib at work tell me that Churches that preach a pro-Bush message should lose their tax-exempt status. I told her "OK...as long as you apply your rule to 'rat churches too." She then said, "You don't see Democrats pulling that kind of crap! "Bill Clinton never!...Seperation of Church and state....Kerry is for all people...Bush wears his religion on his sleave...judge not lest ye be judged...blah blah blah blah!" Well. Palestinian president Yasser Arafat (news - web sites), seen in a picture handed out by his office, shows a map to a delegation of Christian leaders in his office in the West Bank city of Ramallah March 5,2004. The map shows the route of a barrier Israel is building to seal off the West Bank and what Palestinians fear will be the isolated pockets of land they'll be left with after the project is complete. The Israeli army has begun conducting simulated 'war games' to prepare for possible turmoil after Arafat dies, an Israeli newspaper reported on Friday. REUTERS/...

PASADENA, Calif. - Thrilled by the apparently flawless landing of the Spirit rover on Mars, NASA scientists pored over photos and other information Sunday, awaited a stream of even more tantalizing data and worked on the days-long process of getting the robot ready to roll. Spirit made a nerve-racking but safe landing on Mars late Saturday on what scientists believe is the rocky bed of an ancient lake that once may have harbored life. Just three hours later, the six-wheeled rover began zipping the first black-and-white images of its surroundings to Earth, 106 million miles distant at the time. Scientists...

Hello! I've been a FReeper for 2 1/2 years, and modestly stated, I think a pretty good one. However, I've never quite figured out how to post pics and HTML links here. Yes, I've looked at the Help Page here, but still can't grasp it. This is one of my New Year's resolutions. I'm somewhat computer literate, and I have the book, "Learning HTML in 24 Hours." (The title of this book is a lie, by the way). Can anyone give a hand to a fellow FReeper?? Happy New Year!!!

A Los Angeles photographer has been charged with trying to extort more than £2m from Cameron Diaz over topless pictures he took of the star when she was a struggling actress. John Rutter had claimed Diaz had signed a contract giving him possession of the 1992 pictures and allowing their release. The Charlie's Angels star said the signature had been forged. Rutter has been charged with attempted extortion, attempted grand theft and perjury and two counts of forgery. He is being held on $250,000 bail pending an arraignment. Now that I have your attention, it's way past time to take another look at the Album, update pics and add more. LBGA hasn't had time to post a thread and keep up with it this summer, so I offered to help her with it this weekend. She will check her email from time to time and format and upload pics, and might even stop by to say "hi." A lot of people say it really helps to see a pic of someone who disagrees with them on a thread, as well as to see the face of a...

Lead flees flare ups By Dan Daly, Journal Staff Writer Residents in a broad swath of Lead were asked to voluntarily evacuate their homes late Sunday when the Grizzly Gulch Fire flared up along its western edge. The new evacuation involved areas south of Lead's Main Street and the areas north of Main Street that are east of Washington Street, Brenda Bower, information officer with the U.S. Forest Service, said. That's about two-thirds of the city. Gov. Bill Janklow ordered the evacuation Sunday afternoon. The new evacuees joined thousands of people from Deadwood and rural areas east and south who...
